Suprisingly Very Good!!!!
I am by no means a Debbie Gibson fan, but this song is actually very good!Much better than anything else I've heard from her.Is a good pop/r&b song.Unfortunately, the single didn't get the airplay it deserved, I guess because DJ's didn't take the one time teen queen seriously.They didn't want to adknowledge the fact that she is now a grown woman and her music is more mature- not the bubblegum stuff she did in the 80's.

Best of Britney's songs off "Oops! I Did It Again"
"Stronger" is my favorite song off of "Oops! I Did It Again", so I decided to see what the remixes would be like. There are 2 USA versions: the 2-track one, and the 6-track one. I then got the 6-track version. And boy, I loved it!

I love "Walk On By" and "Stronger"!
I Really thought "Walk On By" should've been on either "Oops...I Did It Again" or (my preference) "Britney." I can understand why they might not have wanted this on "Oops..." because it is similar to "Sometimes" From "Baby One More Time", her debut album."Stronger" was my favorite single from the great "Oops I Did It Again." I love the "year ago, year ago, year ago" part and the video is like all Brit videos amazing. I can't believe someone said Britney can't sing! Just because she lip synchs a lot in her dance routines (like Janet Jackson) doesn't mean she can't sing. She sings some of the ad libs and of course ballads live. Anyways, I really reccomend this single to ANY Britney fan because of the great bonus track "Walk On By" which really should have been on the "Britney" album.I can really relate to the lyrics. Ugh
Most these users don't even comment about "Fly", because most of them just heard "Take My Breath Away" on the radio and they think they have the freedom to critique a CD they didn't buy. Well, "Fly" is not Jessica's best song, but still, I love anything that she sings, because she has the best voice of her generation of singers.

Remixes and then some of Brandy's new track.
This cd single comes with 10 remixes---8 vocal mixes and 2 dubs and run the spectrum from hip hop to trance to aggressive house to a little bit of old school house. This is the latest single from Brandy and was produced and features Kanye West on rap. Shock to see that it barely cracked the Pop top 40 (36) and came in the top 20 r&b. But she is doing quite well on the dance charts--debuting at number 2 on the sales charts and still climbing the club charts. I really like all the mixes and although sometimes the vocals are a bit fast (pitch control!!!!) for what the original version is .
GREAT MAXI-SINGLE!!!
Atlantic did a very good job with the first single of the latest Brandy album. The "Talk About Our Love" single comes with 10 (!) versions of the song - from house to trance, with the hottest remixers from atuallity. All record labels should release maxi-singles like that! The tracks are:

Fifteen minutes of great entertainment
"Penny and Me" is one of those songs that gives you a lighthearted kind of feeling that makes you want to tap your steering wheel and sing along as you drive.This single is great, because you get the album version along with an acoustic version as well.What makes this single even better is the unreleased track, "Every Word I Say."It's an upbeat, catchy song that I can't believe hasn't been released on an album or as a radio single.For four bucks, you get an absolute gem.Definitely worth buying.

Roll the windows down and blare Penny & Me... guarenteed to make you happy. This is Hanson's first single off the Underneath album, and what a great choice. Penny and Me is a GREAT song. I thought that owning this single for the sake of owning it with just Penny & Me on it would be great, but I really like listening to the acoustic version as well. A special bouns on this single that I cherish, Every Word I Say. This is by far my favorite song done by Hanson. If you want to hear pure beauty at its finest, get this single.

This is their best work
I luv the song that Monica and Brandy (2 of my All-Time Main Music picks) which is excellent and considered an A+. Everytime I hear that record, it reminds me of how they started working together on the track. U can't go wrong on this. Namean? It's off the album that which is Brandy's breakthrough "Never Say Never" which the hottest-selling CD and the best R&B album of All-Time. I still have it today which I bought it cheap at a thrift shop. If u luv Beyonce, A. Keys, Tamia, or whobody, then this is the right song 4 u.

Pretty Good But Not a Classic
I like Brandy and all and she has a good career going on, but I don't think she should do duets with anyone whose voice is more powerful than hers."The Boy Is Mine" is a good song that came out in 1998- the year that music began to really suck. The video was alright and Monica's hair looked great. But you know, if you're going to have a video that'sabout fighting over a guy, make sure that he's cute, okay? Mekhi Phifer is cool, but he's not all that. Anway, I enjoy the song and just recentlyI've found myself being able to relate to it, but that's another story for another time.

Being orginnaly from Russia and being able to speak the languge makes me appreciate the english album even more becuase well bands like Smash (Who broke up)they only promoted themselves in Russia and it makes you think what would happen if tatu never recoreded their songs in english, what if they only promoted themselves in Russia we tatu fans that live in America, would have never heard of Tatu before.

Well, the American maxi is out...and missing a load of mixes from the double vinyl. You'll have to resort to a few of the import singles to fill some of that gap, but some of the vinyl mixes are currently not available on any of the CD singles. On the bright side, a couple of non-vinyl mixes appear here...although, they're short versions. here's the line up:

"Your Secret" is somewhat dated, but not too bad...
Recently, I brought the single "Your Secret" and listening to the album/radio version of the tune I thought it was fairly decent. While listening to the song, it sounds similar to Jennifer Lopez's 1999 hit "Waiting for Tonight." The remixes on the single were decent, but the overall thing which plagued her 2001 album release "M.Y.O.B", which plagues this song is Gibson's vocals sounds too plain. Instead of Gibson giving a breathy delivery (which should have been used on this tune), she instead sings the song without too much emotion. Gibson before has proven she has the octave range, the lower vocal register, and can perform a breathy and sexy song, but instead does not do this here.
There ain't no secret...
...about how good this song is! I heard a mix of this song before called (Mike Rizzo's Dark Dub) mix of club/dance compilation CD called "NYC Dance Party." That mix is awesome! I enjoyed her vocals on the song as well. I believe if nearly any other singer did this song, it would have been a Top 10 or #1 hit. Overall, I am satisied with the remixes on this single. I hope she continues releasing dance remix CD-Singles. Recommended.

Pretty Darn Decent.
I first heard this song a few years back when a radio station had put it towards the top of it's playlist to promote an upcoming event in which she was featured.I thought the song was GOOD, it wasn't incredible and yes, sounded a bit like a Jennifer Lopez song.It was uptempo, cute, had a real nice hook and danceable.I personally thought it had what it took to get noticed and crack the Top 40 in a few formats.Unfortunately, after Debbie Gibson made her appearance at whatever station-sponsored event she was at, the song disappeared off it's list.Maybe it could have if there wasn't a Debbie Gibson stigma and people blowing her off cause of her 1980's success.Read more

This was an excellent debut single by Mandy Moore. It will always be one of my favorite songs. Mandy is so talented, both at singing and dancing. I'm sure she's a great actress too. I can't wait to see her in The Princess Diaries.

One of my favorite Jessica songs
When I first heard this song in late 1999 from Jessica Simpson's album, I liked it. Some people have given it flack, but I actually like how the producers sampled John Cougar Mellencamp's Jack and Diane hit into the song. But instead of a nostalgic trip, the song altogether sounds new. It has a rough funkiness to it along its pop hooks. Sometimes we like to hear familiarity in songs, and this song succeeds in this point. Simpson sounds good vocally all throughout.

Okay not the best...
Okay she is no Mariah Carey (although often compared to her. Jessica doesn't song write as well as her.) She has Britney Spears appeal (although not as good as her.) Not as smart as Mandy Moore (wow it's a pattern) and doesn't have good voice compared to Christina Aguilera. She is average at all of them making her not have something that makes her the best. She does have the best realtiy show out of all of them. She is good at the moment as she is playing her cards well. Good for you Jessica Simpson.
