5-0 out of 5 stars Classic pre-Parrothead JB
I went to high school in South Florida in the late 70's and JB is the soundtrack from that part of my life. My love of the ocean, Caribbean and sailing is all tied up in this music. I owned this album on vinyl and it is still one of my favorites. I haven't seen a JB concert in some years but this captures the concerts I used to attend in Ft. Lauderdale with my buddies. I agree with the other reviews that say this is his best live recording. It is very intimate and although I own the studio versions of all these songs I prefer the live versions of "Wonder Why We Ever Go Home", "Tampico Trauma" and "Grapefruit, Juicy-Fruit". The cultural references like the "Holiday Inn full of Coneheads" take me back to long summers and the "Yankee Clipper" beach...

5-0 out of 5 stars I Remember This Guy!
Having grown up in south Florida I can testify that the conversation between Morris and his Mrs. in the gem "Morris' Nightmare" is an authentic, annual rite every time the snowbirds fly south. I can also comfortably state that this is how Jimmy sounded before the party moved from the stage to the parking lot.
5-0 out of 5 stars better than his originals
After listening to this its hard to listen to studio versions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Greenbaum's a Pompous Idiot
Mitchell was still at the hieght of her songwriting and singing when this album was recorded. It recreates her concert format of opening strong with a backup band, pausing for an intermission, followed by an acoustic (almost solo) set where the band eventually joins her one or two at a time working toward a rockin' finish which many purists at the time--and clearly some to this day--despised. Get over it. (It has been 30 years)
3-0 out of 5 stars Cheesy and caviar
M. Allen Greenbaum's excellent review mostly says it all for me. Apart from the other criticisms, yes, Woodstock is absolutely murdered: that bass riff is not just dated and inappropriate to the song, it is boring in its own right.
5-0 out of 5 stars August 17, 1974.....every time I play it.
Of all of the concerts that I have attended in and around LA, this was the one that leaves me with a smile and a tear. That it was Joni Mitchell, and the lovely lady with me. It was cold out, that night. This was when there was no roof over the place(Always thought that it lost something after the roof). Joni turned in a solid performance, along with the backup band.Considering how much she scaled back her live appearances after, it was a priviledge to be there. How much better the story would have been, had I married whom I was with. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Pure Musical Genius
This album is one of answers to if you were stranded on a desert island... what albums would you want with you. This is a 34 year old album that is a relevant today as it was then. The man could write, sing and entertain. One of his last performances before a couple year vacation, he went out on top and then reinvented himself as a romantic adult crooner as he grew out of the hippie aged songwritter. He has put out numerous live albums, (Love at the Greek, Hot August Night II) and while his original live album "GOlD" was a solid late 60's attempt, this is the album to own and hit the "continous play button."

5-0 out of 5 stars Diamond at his very best
Not many artists are able to perform live as well as they do in studio.Of the top of my head I can honestly only think of Bruce "the boss" Springsteen who may even be better live than in studio. Many live albums are available with Neil Diamond and he's never bettered this exceptional performance. It's like here everything fell completely in place; Neil's vocals are top-notch, the band sounds great and even the audience contribute alot.Diamond classics such "I am, I said, Play me, Stones, And the grass won't pay no mind" sound even better here than originally heard.Upbeat songs such as Sweet Caroline, Holly holy and especially You're so sweet sound MUCH better here than in their studio incarnations.
5-0 out of 5 stars Shattering The Hot August Night
Simply put, the best live album I've ever heard.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sheryl with Rocks royalty
Sheryl Crow and friends live from Central Park is an outstanding live album.
5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Greatest Live Albums Out There
This album is by far on the greatest recent live recordings.Sheryl Crow demonstrates her influence and talent by putting on an all star show with some of the biggest names in music history.Sheryl shines on her own, singing some of her great hits, but it's the duets that really make the album. My least favorite has to be the Dixie Chicks just because I can't appreciate the country flare they bring to "Strong Enough" but it's still a great version.Chrissie Hynde, one of the album's highlights, brings intense attitude to "If It Makes You Happy", still one of my favorite Sheryl songs.Stevie Nicks remains Stevie Nicks, giving more than enough emotion and flare to her own "Gold Dust Woman."Sarah McLachlan's usually soft voice comes out strong on "The Difficult Kind" and compliments Sheryl's quite nicely. My favorite rendition has to be Eric Clapton and Sheryl together on Cream's "White Room", the rock-out moment on the album. The show is complete when all the guests return to belt out Bob Dylan's "Tombstone Blues" and close the show with a definite BANG.

2-0 out of 5 stars with friends like these....
Clipped, petite and looking more like a leather bar Anne Murray, Crow drags out the hits and the `friends' for this all-star live bash. Half the album is standard issue and straight ahead stage sweat with the morning beer-buzz afficiando going it alone without a little help from her friends (All I Wanna Do, Everyday Is a Winding Road, A Change Would Do You Good, Leaving Las Vegas). With only slight variations on these overplayed originals (a sychopantic crowd and some tinkering with the rhythms) Crow's solo chores rarely rate more than a grudging ho-hum. The rest of the album is a parade of snap-on tools (Dixie Chicks, Stevie Nicks, Eric Clapton, Sarah McLachlan, Chrissie Hynde) who easily steal the spotlight from their downhome hash-slinging waitress/host. Reduced to the role of supporting guitarist, Crow butters the toast from the sidelines as femme contemporaries like Nicks (who unravels admirably on Gold Dust Woman), Hynde and McLachlan flounder about the mike in a haphazard hit (Hynde's If It Makes You Happy)-and-miss (McLachlan's The Difficult Kind) headbutt at Crow's hits. But it isn't until Clapton's suspendered, cigar-chomping husk is rolled out to update Cream's White Room that the sour stench of monstrous micalculation reaches it's devastating climax. Fresh from watering the daisies and still in his jammies, Clapton's return to the electric psychedelics of his Paleolithic pastis a fumbling bumbling fiasco unleashed with the grace and finesse of a diarrhetic Brontosaurus. It's horrifying to think that this is what Cream would have sounded like if they hadn't broken up. Thank God for egos. It's almost a relief to hear Richards mindlessly croak his way through the old Stones Exile-era toss-off Happy, as if a cadaverous ex-junkie with the durability of a cockroach and nine lives would be anything but. Besides, Richards provides wonderful comic relief and criticizing his artistic capacity is as futile as pointing out the flaws in the bandages on an Egyptian mummy. The wrapper finds the entire gang, from Spanky Nicks to Buckwheat Clapton, joining hands for a bizarre entreaty with a kindergartenrendition of Dylan's Tombstone Blues - a fitting finale if there ever was one. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Elton RAW
It is the raw sound of this album that first attracted me to it when I first bought it ages ago in Europe (under the heading 17-11-70 because of the different date headings they use). This was a concert Elton performed with just his bandmates, drummer Nigel Olson and bassist Dee Murray at a record studio in New York City. This is an electrifying set capturing the intensity of Elton's early performances, circa the famed Troubadour performance in LA in 1970.
2-0 out of 5 stars Fans can never be objective...
From the OBJECTIVE reviewer...Elton live is rarely a good thing. This CD is no exception and if it weren't for his better than average version of "Take Me To the Pilot" this wouldn't even get 2 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Jaw-droppingly good
I'm always stunned when I see this record treated as one of Elton's weakest efforts, because I think it is BY FAR the most exciting, explosive record he ever put out.As a professional pianist/singer/songwriter, this is easily the most influential record I own.(I've also heard that fellow piano-basher Ben Folds has said something similar.)All live records should be this good. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Don't Leave Before The Miracle Happens
Laura Nyro was stunning in every respect - singer, composer, performer. Nobody hung it all out to dry quite like Laura Nyro. Eli and the Thirteenth Confession is a landmark album, as is New York Tendaberry. This effort stands apart, a nostalgic tribute to the pop classics Nyro grew up loving.
5-0 out of 5 stars Blast from the Past
If I hadn't watched 'A Home at the End of the World' I would have hardly remembered LaBelle or Nyo. As it happened, it brought back floods of memories fro mmy youth and out came also the old Carol King songs to be listened to again.
5-0 out of 5 stars I remember buying this new...on vinyl ...back in the day.
I remember buying this as a new release...on vinyl and I still have it. This might not be everyone's cup of tea but if you are a Nyro fan, a Doo Wop fan, an R&B fan, a Blue-eyed soul fan, you will find something here to to love. (However, if you are a Labelle fan you will probably be greatly disapointed as they play the role of guest star back up vocalists, albeit with panache, before they became superstars.)

5-0 out of 5 stars Jimmy Buffett.... nothing but the best
All you parrotheads will understand this....
3-0 out of 5 stars Like Listening to Your Parents' Beach Party
This is a solid career overview of Buffett's music, and a perfect souvenier for anyone who's ever attended one of his concerts. You get all the hits played very well, plus some surprises like "Jolly Mon" and "In the Shelter." The steel drums give the music a tropical dimension, and the oustanding musicianship shows Buffett and Company are well-deserving of their rabid following.
2-0 out of 5 stars Jerry Garcia he ain't
I really hate to give such a low rating to any Jimmy Buffett album. His music has brought a lot of happiness into my life and made some of the hard times easier to deal with, and I love almost all of his songs. But his recent series of "Live in..." CDs really doesn't make the grade. Why not?For one thing, he already had three terrific live albums, which encompassed different points of his carer and did a great job of it.That alone made the new ones unnecessary unless he did something unique with them, which he didn't.Also, the performance on "Live in Hawaii," at least, isn't that impressive. He hits quite a few wrong notes and often sounds downright bored, and most of the songs sound awfully thin compared to the original versions.I can't speak for whether the other CDs in the series are any better, because after listening to this one, I have no intention of buying them.

Editorial Review

Jimmy Buffet has become better known for his roles as a bestselling author and seafaring adventurer than as a songsmith, which is why this 15-song live collection could not have arrived at a better time. Recorded in Nantucket, it revives all the charming, affable elements that launched a legion of Parrotheads, a Hawaiian-shirt-wearing following that's come to rival Deadheads for fanaticism. The songs are lush, humorous, and frequently reference the props we've come to expect from Buffett--bikini-clad women, rum drinks, and low-slung hammocks. While not exactly the world's best vocalist, the one-time college cheerleader uses a deft, antic hand to create witty scenarios and sling light-handed barbs aimed at everything from mall culture to his own foibles. The results are curiously captivating. Besides, who can really resist another round of "Margaritaville"? Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Still Love Buffett, But Key West Blows This Away
I'm a tried and true Parrothead for more years than I'd like to count and I've owned this CD since it was available. But I was listening to it tonight along with "Live At Fenway" and I have to admit that with Jimmy keeping repeating himself like he has been for almost a decade now that I took it off. What was once so fresh and original now is starting to sound so mailed-in and tired and old, and like Stevie Nicks wrote "I'm getting older too" and really don't need to be reminded of it all the time.I gave myself a break and put Bubba's fishing bud Bill Jabanoski's "The Key West Party CD" and then "Key West, Florida ...Island Of Dreams" on instead. What a difference. Jabanoski is more raw than Jimmy but he kicks your [...] into gear to have fun, get crazy, get angry, and get back to kicking yourself into having the best time you can. Guess it was just finally time for someone for Jimmy to pass the throne onto, But he picked really well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Parrotheads Unite
This album is great for the car or for anywhere. It is a collection of several different shows but it still flows great. This CD has a good balance of some of Jimmy's latest and some of his greatest hits. Some of my favorites include Cheeseburger in Paradise, Come Monday, and of course the classic Margaritaville with the lost verse.I personally like this album better then some of the best of albums that have come out.I would highly recommend it to parrotheads and non-parrotheads alike.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Les Miz Recording Out There
Now don't you disregard this because it says I'm a kid. I am very experienced in theatre and know exactly what I am talking about.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great that Ruffelle wasn't around to ruin this recording!
The TAC version is undoubtedly the best Les Miserables recording available! It's live, the orchestra is full, and best of all, the casting is great. It's a great relief that the production hired Miss Saigon's Salonga to do Eponine -- we have FINALLY have someone who not only emotes Eponine well, but can actually sing her lines -- the first two recordings (London and Broadway) treated us to a poor excuse of a musical theater actor who couldn't deliver lines clearly and who could barely stay in tune. Salonga, along with the other actors here, shows what the term Dream Cast means.
5-0 out of 5 stars Les Mis is Les Magnifique
I encountered Les Miserables through this particular performance. I bought the movie with the live performance and at first thought ewwwww. I was not big into musicals and my closest things to musical knowledge was listening to Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll And Hyde. Of course I bought the DVD of (David)Hasselhoff's performance. Point being, this version of Les Miserables changed my outlook on musicals.

2-0 out of 5 stars Low energy.
Being a huge fan of J. Geils' "Full House," I was encouraged by some reviews here to believe that "Blow Your Face Out" was a similar live effort. But the only similarity is that they were both recorded live. "Blow Your Face Out" is funky and laid back. Not bad, if that's what you want. But anyone expecting something along the lines of Full House will be tremendously disappointed. In fact, "Lookin' For Love," which will knock your socks off on "Full House," is done as a slow, elavator Muzac tune in "Blow Your Face Out." Why did they even bother?
5-0 out of 5 stars This J. Geils Band Live Album Is Even Better Than FULL HOUSE
BLOW YOUR FACE OUT, The J. Geils Band's second live album, is even better than FULL HOUSE. The band has managed to take the Memphis-Chicago-Muscle Shoals-St. Louis-New Orleans-Detroit-New York-Kansas City blues/R&B/soul/rock & roll traditions to the next level by including more originals this time out, and moreover, Peter Wolf's onstage raps have improved immensely since the last album. Any serious rock fan must own this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars this is a killer live album
i got it at used record shop. before that, i'd only heard the 'freeze frame' era j geils. 'Where did our love go' blows away both the supremes and soft cell's (possibly the baddest live rendition of the tune anywhere). 'lookin for a love' sounds different than the studio version i heard later but there isn't a bad tune on here. these guys rocked out similar to the stones et al. ... Read more

This is a very nice collection. The recordings don't deviate too much from the original recordings.I really enjoyed this CD and think you will enjoy it also.If you are a John Denver fan, I recommend that you add this to your collection.

Wonderful, rich, mature voice a must have! Many new songs that I'd never heard.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just a great album
I've loved John Denver since I was a kid.I'd listen to him on my parent's 8-track and watch for him religiously on The Muppet Show! This album has to be his finest.I have several of his CDs and it is a treat to listen to his early stuff and then to put this one on.His voice has a richness and purity to it that only comes from wisdom and experiences (not to mention decades of singing). The maturity of his voice and his emotions in this one just go right through you.Especially in "For You."It's just heart-breaking that there won't be anything new from him ever again. He is one that will stand the test of time. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars this is the best live album ever. period.
Knopfler's smooth textures mix with sheer rock make every song a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply put, the best live album I know.
Just compare the live version of "Sultans of Swing" to the original (from the first Dire Straits album), and you'll get my meaning.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great live performance from a non-fan
I'm not a big Dire Straits fan but when I first heard this album in the eighties it left such an impression. A less cleaned up version of a "live" album; it is not annoying, but adds to the great feel of the album. The cheap sounding sound system or recording is a big help too. The tune selection, vocals, and a touch of blues bring it all together. You will wish you were there.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still One of the Best Live Albums Around
The recent addition to the Manilow collection, a remastered version of the Live album originally released in the 70's, is a welcomed and recent purchase. I admit that I originally had this album, yes..."album", and really wore it out from playing it so much.

Early Manilow from 1977.Did I need ANOTHER Manilow album?YES!!!This 2 CD collection of 23 tracks of love, beauty, peace, fire and passion is truly awesome! It has been remastered and the sound quality is excellent. If you listen carefully, you can even hear Barry's Brooklyn accent in some of these early versions.

I am a classic rock fan at heart. My collection includes Led Zep,Black Sabbath,The Beatles,Steely Dan..and yes Barry Manilow. Why Manilow? Why not? What here is not to like?A great lead vocalist and an awesome piano player backed up by an incredible band and a wildly enthusiastic audience. My mother had this album when it first came out when I was about 10 years old and I always loved listening to it.The new expanded edition here is even better. The first thing i noticed after not having heard it for a while was how enthusiastic Manilow is about his craft. He loves to entertain. From the fast and more rock orientated songs like "Riders to the Stars" to his awesome slow songs like "Trying to Get That Feeling Again"(which includes additional words not included on the first live album)the CD is perfect. The second thing i noticed was just how good his three female back up singers, known as LadyFlash are.In fact,on this expanded CD they do their own medley ,and it is great.Of course the VSM(Very Strange Medley)is one of the more entertaining songs on the CD.Many of Manilow's fans know he wrote commercial jingles while he was a young struggling artist but few of others know that. When you listen to this song you will be suprised to find out that Manilow ison your television almost everyday.I recomend this CD to fans of all types of music. If you truly like great music you will love this new expanded CD of "Barry Manilow Live" ... 4-0 out of 5 stars The Music Lives but the Acoustic ROCKS!!!
This is a great album, don't get me wrong! However, I don't think it's as good as their acoustic concert.I purchased "Underneath Acoustic" before "Live & Electric" and was amazed by their mature harmonious sound in the acoustic concert, having not heard any of their music since "This Time Around" album. The "Live & Electric" concert wasn't as clear and concise and actually left me a little disappointed. My 5 year old son and myself love "Penny & Me" and couldn't wait to play it, but after hearing it, went back to the acoustic version.I don't know, maybe in my middle age I prefer their softer sound!!!
5-0 out of 5 stars Mature and Marvelous!
From MMMMBop to Penny & me,Hanson has grown up well! The songs are lively, poignant and beautiful, and show the maturity of these boys...now men. I am most impressed to find that they write their own music, play the instruments and do not rely on others to make the sound for them. I happen to think that they got labeled "Boyband" from their MMMBop days, and are not being given a fair shake as serious musicians.I am in my late 30's and very much enjoy the harmonious trio. I find the songs catchy, upbeat and full of decent, uplifting, unprofane lyrics...stuff you can actually sing to!
5-0 out of 5 stars The Hansons rock!
On this sequel to 1998's LIVE FROM ALBERTANE,Clarke Isaac,Jordan Taylor and Zachary Walker Hanson give their fans 15 of their most popular and best-loved tunes of all time. Are they still wooing their female fans? My answer is "Yes,they are.". On this album, the three brothers are pleasing their Aussie fans(it was recorded in Melbourne,Australia) with MIDDLE OF NOWHERE tracks such as WHERE'S THE LOVE?,I WILL COME TO YOU,LOOK AT YOU and MMMBOP. On the brothers' first live album recorded in July 1998,they were still promoting MON,14 months after that release(and it was still on the pop/rock charts). I notice no key change on IWCTY unlike the MON studio track and the live track on LFA. Even the other tracks were performed in different keys than heard on the other albums. From 2000's THIS TIME AROUND are the title track,A SONG TO SING and IF ONLY. Last year, when the brothers were still promoting the April 2004 release of UNDERNEATH for this album, they also kicked butt on STRONG ENOUGH TO BREAK and PENNY & ME. ROCK AND ROLL RAZORBLADE really kicks butt. This album could have used the Crosby,Stills & Nash 1970 hit TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL as heard on the UNDERNEATH-ACOUSTIC LIVE DVD. But the DVD was a separate performance from November 2003. The Barry,Robin and Maurice Gibb of Tulsa,Oklahoma will be eligible for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2022. The Hansons are potential legends already. So they're no longer teen idols,so what? You can't be a teen idol forever. The brothers are all men now. CIH is now aged 25,JTH is 23 and ZWH will turn 21 in September. Hey,girls and women will always love these guys. The brothers have plenty of male fans also. Keep up the great music, guys! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Gotta join the crowd
OK, As much as I hate joining the crew of "my parents introduced me..." well, my parent's introduced me to the Limelighters, for years I grew up appreciating, not only great song writing and music, but quick wit and humor.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Trip Down Memory Lane
I ran across this CD and just had to have it.It's as fun now as it was when it came out! My friendsand I used to get together every weekend and sing along to folk music.I remember singing Hey, Li Lee Li Lee to this LP. What fun!"Madeira, M'Dear" still embarrasses me makes me laugh me after all these years. This album is great anda lot of fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars You'll wear out the CD...
Like many of the other reviewers of the Limeliters, I was introduced to the trio through my father, through this album. Thirty years after I first heard it and twenty after I last heard it, I picked up the CD last week, and sang along with it the first time through. The songs stay with you, thanks to soaring harmonies and ferocious energy. The humor retains its bite more than forty years after its recording. Most impressively, the Limeliters didn't patronize its audience. Most of the humor on the record is sophisticated, and much of it is unspoken. For example, "The Monks of St. Bernard is sung entirely in French," yet the trio get across wickedly the salacious nature of the song. You don't need to like folk music to adore this record. If you appreciate musical virtuosity and peerless showmanship, you'll wear out the CD. ... Read more

Editorial Review

The band's goofy charm and sure-footed melodic sense is in full flower here, and the singalongs on "Brian Wilson" and "If I Had $1000000" are proof of the bond between band and audience. A hidden rap tribute to Ed Robertson's "Uncle Elwyn" is vintage Bill Cosby. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Being Naked Live Ain't Embarassing
Here is a live record containing a band that sounds as good live as they do in the studio. In the Spring of 1996, The Barenaked Ladies performed amazing rock sets at both the Rivera in Chicago and The Oympia in Montreal. With a group trained on the double bass, bass guitar, keyboards, accordian, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, drums, and vocals; it is pretty obvious that the Barenaked Ladies' music is very musical and unique. Their songs are a light rock, very poppish, but ear catching. Some of them are even given a Swing feel and beat. This album is a must have for any fan and for anyone who enjoys listening to music. Enhanced CD features include footage of skits and and live performances.
5-0 out of 5 stars Energized
So many live albums can be "flat".You can't go back and redo anything and if the crowd has an off night or isn't into your show, you can't go back to the studio and re-record cheers or fill in the "other" instrument (the audience).
5-0 out of 5 stars Why aren't they on the NOW CDs?
This is an incredible live album. I honestly don't think that I've ever heard anyone do a better job on a live album. Standout songs are Brian Wilson, When I Fall, Straw Hat And Old Dirty Hank, and If I Had A Million Dollars. How come these guys are never on the NOW CDs? They're more talented than Nelly or Snoop Dogg or Coldplay! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars a great album
this is a great album: great songs, lots of energy, and a band that sounds like it enjoying playing. It's a good mix of classic songs with fun jams (think Paul Simon meets String Cheese Incident). It fun weekend/Summer music which will have you dancing and singing along.

4-0 out of 5 stars ****1/2 - great live album and a fine career overview
Equipped with the unwieldy handle of "Paul Simon's Concert In The Park, August 15, 1991", this double CD finds Paul Simon backed by most of the New York session musicians and the native musicians from South Africa and Brazil who had accompanied him on "Graceland" and "The Rhythm Of The Saints".
5-0 out of 5 stars The title says it all!
On August 15,1991,nearly ten years after recording THE CONCERT IN CENTRAL PARK with Art Garfunkel,Paul Simon taped another concert in the New York City landmark. He was promoting THE RHYTHM OF THE SAINTS album released in the fall of 1990. On this album he performs a few songs from that album,HEARTS AND BONES and GRACELAND. Some songs from 1981's THE CONCERT IN CENTRAL PARK appear on this album. I think Garfunkel should have joined Simon on this album. Many of Simon's fans wished Garfunkel was performing at this concert. Simon did a few tunes that he recorded with Garfunkel like CECELIA and THE BOXER. In fact, this is the third live album that Simon recorded. His first one was 1974's LIVE RHYMIN',originally released on Columbia Records. That album is still in print but it's on Warner Bros. now. Simon went from Columbia to Warner Bros. in 1980. He still records on WB today. In fact, every Paul Simon album originally released on Columbia is on WB today. Garfunkel still records on Columbia. In fact that's been his only label in his 40-year showbiz career. Like the 1981 concert, there was not one empty spot at this one. Simon probably performed tens of times in Central Park in the last four decades. This was during the Rudy Giuliani area(he was NYC mayor in '91). Awesome album! ... Read more

"Bobby Darin's premiere at the Copa went down in the Copacabana history books ad one of the standouts. Darin received to many wires of congrats that Western Union told him "you hold the record for telegrams in one night" - Walter Winchell, New York Mirror.

5-0 out of 5 stars Every Career Should End Like This
I look at Harrison's Live In Japan as more than a collection of music played live.Taken with "Brainwashed" and "Concert For George", this album is the first of an epic trilogy in which George first says good bye to us, and then we say goodbye to him.
4-0 out of 5 stars A must for collectors
George Harrison after the Beatles broke up only toured twice.
