4-0 out of 5 stars Once again....
Adult swim and stone throw keep it blunted and keep it comin'. Nothin but pure beats and rhymes out of this collection of essential hits. Sounds like more then a soundtrack or anything like that. If you like Stone throw or just good lyrical and good beats to complement them then this is a diamond in the ruff, because it's beyond the average.

4-0 out of 5 stars The robots... are coming...
Sometimes albums are made with groundbreaking new twists and sounds. Sometimes they are made for financial gain, via radio hits and MTV coverage. And then there are some that are really just made for the love of it.
4-0 out of 5 stars four songs you'll love...
and the others are good, too.I'm particularly fond of "Spat", which rolls nicely into "What's the altitude".Spoon has a great groove, too."The Garden" seems to be the song that gets radio air-time around here, so you'll recognize and dig the track.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cut Chemist..
As a turntable enthusiast, I can really respect what Cut Chemist does on this album. He really is just having fun with things, witha variety of beats and great samples. One track in particular he simulates a phone conversation with scratching, which blows my mind. Great album. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An Outstanding Album!
I got this album about 2 years ago at a mall. What made me get this great album was after hering a song of a music channel playing a song titled:"Building Steam With A Grain of Salt". After hearing that awesome song, I instantly knew I had to get the cd. I listen to every song on the cd and all are very goog indeed. Right now, "Building Steam With a Grain of Salt", "What Does Your Soul Look Like" (Part 4), and "Midnight In A Perfect World". Im sure I left out a couple, but still, all of them are great. Recommendeed to anyone. Enjoy this great artifact.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sonic Alchemy
This record is a perfect example of how a sampler can be used as a instrument to make a album. Midnight In A Perfect world is my favorite track on this album and is probably one of the 25 best songs written or composed in the 20th century. If you see this record missing from someone's collection or know someone who hasn't listened to it , you need to step up and turn them on to it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Remember When
Do you remember what you were doing when Princess Diana died? When the towers were hit? What is it about this CD that many seem to remember where they were when they first heard it, or first bought it.

Maybe it was that downtime at Creedmoor Mental Hospital, but after he tuned out following the breakup of the hardheaded seminal hip-hop group the Ultramagnetic MCs, something must have flipped Kool Keith's wig like a mescaline pizza. 5-0 out of 5 stars What is there to say that hasn't already been said?
To some, bugged-out is an insult. To Kool Keith, it's a lifestyle. While other emcees talk about how insane they are, and use it merely as a gimmick, Keith has time spent in an asylum as proof of his authenticity. Is spending time in a padded-room neccessarily something to take pride in? Absolutely not. But for Kool Keith, it's something that has greatly set him apart from his contemporaries.
5-0 out of 5 stars CLASSIC!!!!!
Oh Man what an album! This album goes beyond description. One of the best albums of all time, any genre. Keith deserves an Oscar for his performance and the Production is nothing short of Epic. You need to hear it for yourself, Check it out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Some Earth People Will Feel Alienated...
But that's because Keith is an alien himself. When a collective of hip hop enthusiasts from the Ego Trip staff ranked Kool Keith as the number 19th greatest emcee of all-time (one ahead of Tupac) in there book of lists, they were not taking it lightly. He wasn't your standard A-B rhymer. He was shattering rules of rhyme structure since his glory days with the Ultramagnetic Mcs.He always possessed an unorthodoxed off-beat flow, passionate vocal tone, and boasts so brazen they stunned his listener into silence.Who would have thought that the leader of that group would turn into a perverse alien who happened to have his record drop from another planet to turn from thermal nuclear residue to Earth in compact format (read the album cover notes to understand where i'm comin' from).

3-0 out of 5 stars Another good package
This is the second remixed CD from the Verve Remixed series. These tracks are still well mixed but I do find a few tracks which are quite noisy (a bit over-the-top).Still, I think there are enough good dance tracks to keep this CD in your stereo for sometime. If you are asking for more, then try getting the 'Complete Verve Remixed Box-Set' which comes in a package of four (3 + 1) CDs.

4-0 out of 5 stars Yes!
So I don't listen to this kind of music very often, and I apologise if I'm being naiive or ignorant, but this is an extremely good CD.The first 5 songs are some of the best music I've heard in a long time, and I will definitely be picking up Remixed 3 after hearing this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still a favorite

3-0 out of 5 stars Lost Abstract
I can appreciate the fact that Davis is moving in his own direction but this just didnt do it for me.His style took a complete turn from the trip-hop aspect and presents more conversation filled segments that are rather boring. There are a couple tracks that showcase Shadow's DJ talent and a few other alright tracks but if your looking for endtroduing or preemtive strike you wont find it here.
4-0 out of 5 stars crazy
I first read the hype about the endtroducing album on amazon. but my experience with best sellers has not been good especially if they are old. I like to stick to the albums which are recent in case of artists i like. so i first got private press. and i was completely blown away. highlight of the album is the 5th track givin up the ghost. It has a very haunting feeling to it. starts with a synth rhythm and carries it for several measures. until drums are added after a pause. its a freak show after that. try to listen this song on church or hall setting in your surround system and it would magnify the feeling manyfolds. i cant give the name to the emotion which i feel when i hear this track. 8th is also good. 3rd track is hilarious.

5-0 out of 5 stars Powerful
DJ Shadow refuses to be labeled, and that is abundantly clear in this album. With elements of every genre under the sun, hip-hop, electronic, and even flashes of ambience to name a few.

5-0 out of 5 stars Street Jams: Electric Funk, Vol. 1
I grew up on this stuff even though I'm only 16. All the songs blended hip-hip with techno. All the beats seem unique and exotic. They are all something that you don't hear in today's rap/hip-hop unless they use the beat. Missy Elliott got her "Lose Control" beat from the song "Clear" off this cd. This cd includes the mega hit "Planet Rock" by Afrika Bambaataa & the Soulsonic Force. Every song here is great and major part of rap/hip-hop history and culture but here are my top 5:
5-0 out of 5 stars As Good As Music Gets!
Many of the sounds on this CD are about as good as rap/hip hop/electronic funk gets.Planet Rock is close to musical perfection in my opinion. How I wish the hip hop scene of today would return to its musical roots.

5-0 out of 5 stars Essential for fans
I can't praise this 4 cd set enough.

5-0 out of 5 stars this one is great but the unseen is even better
yo, if you need a dope instrumental along with this one, grab the unseen by quasimoto, madlib's alter ego. get their is a lyrical and an instrumental version to the unseen. damn that unseen got played 55 straight times when i got it. non stop, no skipping, just floating and zoning out. straight up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Like going into Uncle Otis's attic....
And finding stories of stacks of old vinyls, dripping Yesterday and glowing Always.Cali's finest, Madlib, is definitely one of the heirs of DJ Premiere, Pete Rock, DJ Quik and other previous beat konductas that helped established the sound of true hip-hop as a platform where old school soul and new school technique are amalgamated. The latest Madlib Invasion is not for everybody; those of us who's butts were undeniably moved by Tribe's "Low End Theory" will definitely appreciate this endeavor. Those of you who are tired of what MTV and other corporate entities and pass off as hip hop, clean out your crazy Uncle Otis's attic check out the Beat Konducta. Then walk down the street to Mr. Yancey's house, go into his basement and check out J Dilla's "Donuts."

5-0 out of 5 stars Order it right now
there isn't much else a person can say about this album that hasent been said before, it is one of my favorite albums and im sure it will remain one of them. "You can feel the realness" in every song you will not skip a track, lyrics are creative as well as the production it is like a melting pot of early mobb deep, M.O.P., Wu-Tang clan, and Capone-n-noreaga. when i first heard it, i almost fell from my chair and im sure you will do the same. just keep in mind that it is not as polished as most of the main stream stuff you might be used to, make sure to keep an open mind when listening

5-0 out of 5 stars Underground Classic
If you love wu-tang type hip hop with tons of samples , mind melting rhymes , and soundscapes that are cinematic and psychadelic then you'll love this entire album from start to finish.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best JMT record
One of the best to come out of the underground...Stoupe comes with AMAZING production on par with Pete Rock and Dj Premier, while Vinnie and Jus come with fuctional, but interesting lyrics. You really shouldnt take these two very seriously, as the production is the star of the album. If you enjoy anything by Gang Starr, Non Phixion, or Ras Kass, you owe it to yourself to check this record.

5-0 out of 5 stars Qbert is dA ish.....
Dj qbert < one of the greatest if not the greatest scracth dj of all times.

5-0 out of 5 stars what hasn't already been said??
Altough this album came out many years ago, the choas and organized madness that layers this piece still overwhelm even the most hardcore of tablist heads.even to those outside of the scratch community in the more "public music" mindset that appriciate it for the concept album that it is may still not understand the audio of the album unless they accompany that with the dvd film that was spawned by the album. This cd is....for lack of a better comparison, hip hops "Tommy", its "Rocky Horror Picture Show", or even "the Wall" to really praise this piece. To say it so few words, this is not a hip-hop concept album. but rather, it is THE hip-hop EPIC.
3-0 out of 5 stars DJ Qbert's frenzied scratchfest
Fan's of turntablism and speaker shredding scratching will enjoy this CD. 'Wave Twisters' is a scratchfest cavalcade, similar to the turntablist ferocity of 'Live at Future Primitive Sound Session' by Cut Chemist. Hypnotic, trancelike, with spine-chilling beats. The samples are minimal, but maintain soulful, almost tribal-like pulsating rhythms, somewhat like NWA's 'Straight Outta Compton'. The scratches aurally bombard you from all angles, almost like spread-out laser-beams echoing in the dark. It's amazing how something relatively stripped-down can sound so powerful and dense. Essential. ... Read more

Editorial Review

This set compiles much of DJ Shadow's pre-major label material in one convenient package in an attempt to foil bootleggers and bring new fans up-to-date in the curriculum. The results are naturally varied, but all point to a marvelous evolution of talent. The collection is kept together primarily by its propensity for jazzy beats and psychedelic loops. Shadow (né Josh Davis) moves through everything from old school funk ("In/Flux") to grungy '60s-style guitar raveups ("High Noon"). The centerpiece of the set, however, is a four-part composition called "What Does Your Soul Look Like," which is likely to be the first ever entirely sample-driven rock opera. It's a brilliant piece of work, laced with intriguing sounds, sound bites, and a detectable set of motion. It is also quite possibly better than anything on the critically -acclaimed Entroducing. 5-0 out of 5 stars What Josh Davis' Soul Looks Like
Enough with the arguments.Everyone knows what Shadow's best tracks are. Some of them are on Entroducing. Some are on Preemptive Strike.A couple are on Private Press. He also did some real magic with James Lavelle on Psyence Fiction. And almost all of his best are on In Tune and On Time.
5-0 out of 5 stars Some of the Best Music I Have Ever Heard
I had never heard of DJ Shadow and had no idea what trip-hop, acid jazz or the like was when I initially listened to this album in 1998 at Karma Records in West Lafayette, Indiana.Thank all supernatural beings that someone on the staff there had placed 'Preemptive Strike' in the listening booth thingy.Upon sampling a few tracks through the store-supplied headphones, I purchased the CD and have been a Shadow fan ever since.I am coming to realize that I almost always enjoy artists' early work better than anything that comes later. That is not to discredit ANY of Dj Shadow's or any other musician's newer music, but there is just something about an artist's first round of music.
5-0 out of 5 stars Music for the Minority
This is for purists. This is for travelers on the journey of Dj Shadow, because it takes study and an open mind to appreciate this record. It is a digression back to the old school, but this is Dj Shadow's classroom. It radiates with the layered, entrancing, subtle, and spiritual style that only he brings to the vinyl. Josh Davis(Shadow) is an artist who has stayed fresh from then until now, but this album is like a timeless interlude, a trailmark and a tribute, because the meat of this album, `What Does Your Soul Look Like`-and for me, the title says it all- is his meditation on music. Be aware, the true value of this record is something you really have to listen for. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars amazing
This is an amazing record, especially the first third. Shadow mixes urban pop and heavy rap, then veers into 70s funk in the blink of an eye. He hides millions of little sounds under the music and creates a mix that bristles with incredible dynamics and intensity. Anything can happen and does-an urban pop groove, a crushing ska rap, and a Door's like melody-and all before you can snap your fingers.
3-0 out of 5 stars Below Average for Shadow, I'm Sorry To Say
I'm a *huge* fan of DJ Shadow, and have a *lot* of his work. This, unfortunately, is one of his albums that will get the least play. It's a fine mix of old-school soul and new-school "Crunk" or "Crump", which I - personally - can't stand.

2-0 out of 5 stars This was interesting in the '90s when it was called Shibuya-kei
It was interesting to see how Japanese kids interpreted years of American pop culture, made it their own, and then spit it back at us. That was really charming, good music. This record is an over produced, uninteresting sampling wankfest which can only be described as annoying. If you like this, you're not a bad person, you're just not looking hard enough for real music.

5-0 out of 5 stars Heard by accident
I heard "Avalanche Rock" by accident, loved it, and had to listen to the whole album. It's funky, groovy and flows together beautifully.Deff recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Party Album Ever
I don't understand how someone could say that some of the songs are just filler with only half the songs being good. Every single minute of the song there is something fascinating/interesting/beautiful/funky/meaningful/whimsical/subtle going on, although not all at the same time. This is in my top 5 favorite albums ever, (along with miles davis, faust, etc.), and I listened to it all the time for like 2 years. I never got sick of it, but gave it a rest just in case I were to ruin the freshness. There are new sounds and loops that I notice in the cd 3-4years down the road, which is simply amazing considering how many times I've listened to it. Listen to it loud at a party, but also listen to it with headphones sometime to check out the dozens of layers of sound.

5-0 out of 5 stars A personal Favorite
I recommend this for Turntablists and up and coming DJ's. It never gets old and has an unforgetable, unique sound. I have the original copy with just the one disc, but I am sure that the second disc doesn't dissapoint. He is one of the illest! Peace

5-0 out of 5 stars For the record
The old one disc version is no longer in production. The two disc version is the only version you can buy of Endtroducing. Also for the record, the 2nd disc may not be as cohesive and incredible as the first disc, but that is because it's leftover cuts that didn't make the album. Those tracks are there for history and background into what went into make Endtroducing. In short, it is unfair to give this new release anything less than you would have given the old release, because the old one is no longer available, and it contains all of Endtroducing and some extraordinary extras.

2-0 out of 5 stars No reason to buy this version
I love the original release of Endtroducing and was super excited to hear about this two disc set. Man what a waste of money! There is nothing special at all about this version, unless you consider the exact same mix minus a couple talking samples here and there "special." Seriously, that's about it.

Editorial Review

You get the feeling Mike Patton did his time with major label bands like Faith No More and Mr. Bungle merely as a way to fund the stuff he's really into. He's got a solo project called Peeping Tom that includes collaborations with Massive Attack and Amon Tobin; the fourth album from his experimental instrumental outfit, Fantomas; and guest spots on Björk's Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Jumping JeBus!!
This album clearly illustrates to unafflicted-world what it feels like to have ADD.Unfortunately I was diagnosed with it, but I feel right at home every time I pop this cd in."Fire in the Hole" is one of the coolest songs to come out in 2005.This cd sounds like you threw the first Fantomas album, and select tracks from Beastie Boys "Check Your Head" into a blender, pressed puree, fed it to Patton, then made him puke it up onto a turntable and start spinnin' out some tracks.I highly recommend this one!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Cool
I Love Mike's work with the Executioner's, "Get up Punk 0200 Hrs." isgreat example of a classic Patton style meeting Hip-Hop.

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredible
This is an incredible, and a very underrated Cd.It is important to bear in mind that there are very little stand alone tracks on this cd.There are only three or so tracks that are listenable apart from the rest of the cd, those being Get Up Punk, Fire in the Hole, and L.O.L.The three songs are all great in their own respect, but what really makes this album shine is everything put together as a cohesive whole.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow
If it wasn't availiable on Amazon I'd be purchasing a plane ticket to Japan, so it's relativly expensive price is well worth it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the import fee
I just finished listening through Private Repress and it is an amazing disc. I decided to spend a little extra and buy the import because it has the Z-Trip mix on it. Z-Trip is an amazing up and coming DJ, as well as a friend of Shadow. Shadow has also outdone himself with the Six Days remixes, which are available on other singles, but the Soulwax mix and the Mos Def mix (track 6) are just killer. Through in the extended radio mix of Walkie Talkie and you have yourself an essential recording. If you own Private Press, definitely complete the collection and buy the repress.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hot Damn
This is the album that got me hooked on Dj Shadow. It's been a steady progression of DJ Shadow cd aquisitions for me since I heard this one at the reccomendation of a friend. Oddly enough, I have yet to get the original of this album, but as far as I'm concerned, this version kicks all kinds of ass by itself. I've been looking for a mix of beats like this for a long time. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not Up To Standards
I found this CD to be disjointed and confusing in it's "feel". Not the type of Cafe Del Mar I enjoy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Scandalously dismal
Annoyingly, the lowest rating I can offer is ONE STAR. Way too much. How on earth is it possible to produce such complete drivel. From the first tedious 30 seconds of track one (I can't be bothered to turn the CD box over to see what the 'track' is called ... it simply doesnt matter), one's heart drops as you simply know you have been sold a total dog. Make no mistake this is a totally uninspired depressing groove-free load of tosh. The price they charge for these things is also incredible. For the cost I expect something really decent ... I have the receipt, and its going back. Generally CD's of this type are a bit of a lottery, I sense this is one CD in this series that never should have made it out of the re-cycling bin. Surely its a mistake! In a word, R U B B I S H .

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding CD
In this CD, Z-Trip's music makes you feel every sense of your being. This CD defintely ROCKS!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't the Executioners already do an album like this, like three or four times (all of which sucked tremendously--except when they worked with Mike Patton)? This sounds to me like a Sprite sampler mix--which is even worse than those Scion mixes, which are little more than a serious of incomplete and very biased "name dropping." The sad part is that Z is name dropping on fools who are known to jump on anyone's track, which makes me wonder if he pissed everyone else off or what. I can barely make it past this terrible first track with Soup (like, who?). At this point in the history of hip hop it's high time for a new mark on the timeline, and this certainly is miles from being that. There is little if any exploration here. You can totally be an old school crate digger and still have breakthroughs (IE: People Under The Stairs or Blackalicious). RJD2 was even barely beleivable when he did this kind of showcase thing on his first CD--the difference with him was that he has some sense of grace and he has the guts to make a decision and stick to that sound (which was a sound with party beats, but also a ton of heart and soul). Basically, if you think that J-5 are the greatest rap group of all time or that Linkin Park don't deserve ANY of the hate, then by all means this will not dissapoint you at all. But for me, all these party beats, Lord Finesse cadences, and undescriptive lyrics amount to little more than another DJ centered showcase of artists that hopefully didn't cost much to hire. Even the typically forward thinking "Busdriver" steps into the p0rno all flacid like the track is a pillow to take a big fat nap on. Seriously, do we need another one of these kind of albums? This album is to the Scratch Pickles what Eminem is to the Beastie Boys. To make another even more degrading comparison: it's like box wine--it tastes OK when your already drunk but afterwards you get one hell of a stomach ache. Even worse, it's like a wine sampler and I for one already know what kind of wine I like. People have told me that Z is an arrogant egomaniac and I didn't want to beleive it because DJ-P is such a nice guy, but yeah--this CD is clearly full-of-itself and made for those who actually liked the second Dialated Peoples CD (YUCK!).Swamp's album was corny too (he probably even laughs at himself), but at least it took alot risks to be unique (Swamp Vs. Buckethead--when can I get that?). In the words of Simon Cowell: "this is just way too safe for me." I think I need to go wash my mouth out now with some Mixmaster Mike or Q-Bert.

2-0 out of 5 stars downshifting...
This great underground master DJ deservedly gets a release on a major record label... but there are too many rappers, not enough personality in the production, and obvious restraint in the sampling (surely the result of copyright clearance issues.) Compared to Z-Trip's amazing and audacious Uneasy Listening with DJ-P and Live at the Future Primitive with Radar, this is just a bore... yawn...

4-0 out of 5 stars Great, but too short
When I saw this in a local record store and read the total run time on the back as 28 minutes, I assumed it was an EP of a full album.I figured that I'd buy the full album from amazon. When I got my amazon order, I found out that it was the same EP...at full album price. They really should mark this as an EP as it's only 28 minutes long.
5-0 out of 5 stars Exceptional......(But oh, so teasingly brief!!!)
If (like me), you like to listen to some expertly (and deftly chosen) tracks, that have all been sublimely mixed, by some of the finest turntablists out there. One name that should feature on any list should be "Cut Chemist's"....this is a man that although his studio record output is hardly prolific, virtually everything he does put out, is usually of the highest quality.Preferring to concentrate on a broad selection of Old School Hip-Hop, Funk, Rare groove, Instrumental breaks and Rap on his albums. Not only have has he (& Dj Nu-mark) been the beat driving force behind "Jurassic 5", but both are arguably amongst the finest turntablists ever. But for this release, its a 28 min EP, that acts as a prelude for Cut Chemist's forthcoming LP (of yet there appears to be no specific date). For the price being charged for this EP (Which isn't far off the price for a full length CD), is this worth the price outlay??? Well, nobody is going to accuse Cut Chemist of rushing out a poorly devised and mixed EP, as this is a near flawless compilation of unreleased tracks, coupled with a choice selection of remixes of some of the work by the Jurassic 5 Crew (a excellent mix of Rap & Instrumental tracks).Although before the criticisms start flying around, These tracks are not your average remixes. Cut Chemist has obviously put a lot of time & thought into how the mix should sound different from every other Mix album out there, but more impressive is his attention to detail & meticulous fine tuning, until everything sounds just right. And as expected, the mix isn't just purely geared towards Hip-Hop.Cut Chemist's love of Old School Funk & Rare Groove feature throughout (obviously not heavily, as the mix is only 28mins), but a keen ear for Groove and melody, as well as cutting up dialogue, have always earmarked Cut Chemist's mixes, above the usual cut & paste mix albums doing the rounds.A lot of these tracks will be familiar to those that listen to mix albums, or more specially like Cut Chemists work with Jurassic 5.Jurassic 5 Tracks such as "Quality Control", "Jayou", "Thin Line", "Contact", "Swing Set", "Lesson 6" & "Swing Set"...all crop up throughout the mix.And although the set leans towards a sort of remixed compilation of Jurassic 5 / Cut Chemist material, it's the way that Cut Chemist's ability to take previously heard material, and reinvent (or reinterpret) it in such a way, that although not sounding completely new, is a wonderful spin on an existing sound.Obviously the Jurassic material is interspersed with various other tracks (such as a sublime mix of "Gang Starr's - Eye on the Gold Chain"), to prevent this from being overly familiar. But such is the precise and skillful mixing / turntable dynamics on display here, that Cut Chemist rarely has to fall back on turntable trickery to impress.Sure, elements of scratching, beat matching, and sampling are in evidence, but their use is relatively subtle in comparison to similarly styled mix albums. And whatever some peoples misgivings may be with the large amount of existing material used here, few can deny that, Cut Chemists use of sound Collages, beat placement and profound knowledge of what makes a fantastic mix album, arguably makes for an equally sensational recording. And it's all done with such a a tangible playfulness, in its approach, with a knowing nod to the power of the old school DJ, that if the forthcoming LP, can maintain this remarkable standard, it'll rank amongst some of the finest work that Cut Chemist has ever recorded (and that's no mean feat). But the main point of criticism for this release, isn't the material, or the mixing...(both are exceptional), but the fact that this is only 28mins!!???.....now I'm not going to lie to you, when I was listening to this, I found myself getting more & more into it, mentally patting myself on the back for buying this CD.Thinking how amazing this CD was, and how It just couldn't get any better.......and then the CD finished, and I was "Whaaaa the F>>>k!!??, Refund???".(I'm joking about the Refund Bit), but it's true, It really does finish, when you become completely absorbed in it. There can be no doubt that most people will want to run out and buy the (hopefully Substainally longer) LP, when It finally arrives. But what you want to know is "Is this EP worth the cost??".....weeeeell, if your like me, and you consider having to (sometimes) pay over the odds for fantastic music, part & parcel of being a music enthusiast, then you'll find the high asking price easier to shallow. But if price is a consideration here, then I'd have to say to 'Hunt around', and see if you can get it a bit cheaper, as it truly is a remarkable EP, and bodes incredibly well for the fully length. And there's nothing to say that the mix on this EP, is going to feature on the full length.Without seeming like a 'Cop-Out' I'd say, if your a big Cut Chemist fan, then this is worth the money, those that can wait for the Full-length, or just only have a passing interest in Cut Chemist's work should pass. I'm giving the album 5 Stars for the music (which, for me), is what it's really about...if price is a consideration for you, when buying music, then knock a star off the rating.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great EP, ditto other reviewers
Let me just say that I *wish* I had purchased this from Amazon. It's overpriced for an EP at $18, but I paid $25 at Tower before I saw it here. That's almost $1/minute.Eeesh. ... Read more
