God was in this album
At first I was not a major fan of youthful praise because I never really fell in love with their music, even though I did like a couple of songs they did. However, this album gives me a different view of these gifted young singers. The album is good from the beginning until the end. I could not find one bad song on the album. The best most stood out song on the album has to be Incredible God, Incredible Praise. I listen the this song atleast once a day because our God truly deserves Incredible Praise. This Cd Has songs for the old as well as the new. You will not be dissappointed in this album because the music on here will be a bleesing in your life. Keep up the good work youthful praise and let God continue to use you.

Heavy, but Beautiful.
This is an awsome extension to their album A Collision. I like bluegrass, or hoedown music and that is what most of this is. Some songs have a heavy feel to it, though. I believe this is so because it says in their "album booklet" that their pastor died. They already created an album about death, A Collision, but they didnt expect this. So they remixed or "Acoustic-ted" some songs. I like this album, and Im sure if you like David Crowder at all, you will like it too. P.S. I love the banjo.

David Crowder*Band produces another great album! B Collision is a great addition for any Crowder fan. With faves from A Collision remixed and reinvented, this album is a real gem. There are even a few live versions of some other greats like "I Saw the Light". Don't forget the full version of "Everybody Wants to go to Heaven". It is definitely one that gets stuck in your head!

One Great Song After Another
Like other reviewers,I love the beautiful "Song of Moses",a song that will lift your soul into the presence of the Lord.Also,"The Light of That City",a song of comfort for anyone who looks forward to seeing loved ones in Heaven.
IM AMAZED
The BTC has continued to minister to meover the years with their uplighting music. It has become part ofmy music collection, especially when Im commuting to work.I work in a very stressful environmentbut every morning I start my day off listening to this CD in my car. I arrive at the hospital feeling blessed and thankful for the simple daily blessings in my life.

Wonderfully Uplifting and Emotional Experience
It starts off with a bang with one of my favorite Psalms, 3 "Thou O Lord are a shield about me, my Glory and the Lifter of my head" and ends with the worshipful, "Who will not fear Thee and Glorify Thy Name"My church choir has already done "Gloria" for our Missions week and will be doing "Thou O Lord" and "High and Lifted Up" very soon.I can't wait!

ExcellentChristmas music in different way
MercyMe went with a rock style Christmas album. I think overall they pull it off. Threre are a few selections I did not like.... Silent Night is one of them. It's country/folk style that does'nt fit the song. It came upon a midnight clear is a great track. I was suprised with "Rockin' around the Christmas tree" there is only a few version's I really enjoy, this is one of them. I love the originality of the old songs redone with a modern twist. I wish there was more "Christmas" sounding tracks or a few more Christmas classics. I'ts nice to hear Christmas music done well.Recommend!

Good for any Christmas collection!
This CD is a welcome new addition to my Christmas collection.It provides fresh new takes on older, lesser-known Christmas songs, most notably on "Christmastime is Here" from "A Charlie Brown Christmas."I especially liked "Joseph's Lullaby" (the only original track on the CD).Mercy Me continues to have a good easy-to-listen-to sound.Loved it!

Transcending Tunes
I initially was given this music when my children were very young. They are now all grown but the memory of rocking my babies in the wee small hours to the most uplifting and calming music stayed with me.I now give this as a gift to others I love who are looking forward to parenthood.I remember, not only did it provide a peaceful background for my children to drift into slumber, but it lifted me beyond the concerns of the day to thoughts of prayerful gratitude and internal expressions of praise to our Creator for the precious gift of life. I highly recommend.

The background music of our lives
We started playing this CD for our baby when he was 4 months old and not sleeping almost at all at night.It now plays almost constantly at our house, as we keep it on auto repeat all night and a good part of the day when he's napping.It is such soothing music, I can even fall asleep to it (which is important since we play it even when we travel and the baby sleeps in our room.)The tempo is perfect for rocking or patting baby to sleep in time with the music.My only complaint (if it can even be called that) is that the range is too high for me to sing along.But the music is beautiful, and it's nice to know that my baby is listening to sacred lullabyes all night long.Michael Card's arrangement of the Mizpah Benediction at the end of the CD is especially beautiful.All in all, although I can't say that this was the "magic pill" that made my baby sleep through the night, it has helped him sleep longer and better, and is soothing to listen to as I resettle him night after night.

Sleep Sound in Jesus - AWESOME
This is an AWESOME CD!!!When I was growing up I put each of my 5 brothers to sleep with it...and now that I'm pregnant and expecting my first, I've gotten it again and am listening to it.I love Michael Card's voice (He DOES sing in this, contrary to what one person said).

Incredible
I just had to write a review and say that this CD did take me to another level in praising and worshipping the Lord.This is one of those CD's where you can tell that Israel has an intimacy with Christ and he has not held back how he honors the Lord with his gift of music.Also, I was privileged to be at a Worship & the Word Conference with my former church where Israel did not only minister in concert but he spent time teaching us how to worship the Lord.Israel I would like to thank you for that.I love how Israel & New Breed allowed the Holy Spirit to breathe on this project but most of all on their hearts.For those of you that buy this CD your level of worship and desire for greater intimacy with Christ will deepen.

Yes, David Crowder, I Hear You Loud and Clear!
So I have "Illuminate" and "A Collision" (the best CD of all time!) but decided that my collection was missing something if I did not purchase "Can You Hear Us?"I'm very glad I did!The CD starts off with "I Need Words," which is just David and an acoustic guitar and is sparse but beautiful.Then it goes onto track 2 with "Our Love Is Loud," a rocking song that is classic David Crowder.Track 3, "You're My Everything" is one of my favorites as David's voice is perfectly fragile and each inflection he sings fits with the emotion of the song.Tracks four and five are also very good songs that make you want to sing along.I have mixed feelings, however, with track 6, "All Creatures of our God and King."The tempo is kind of odd and it does not sound nearly as good as "All Creatures #2" that is on Illuminate.Oh well."God of Wrath" is a cool song, but one of my favorites is David Crowder's cover of "Obsession" by Delirious.The song and theme work to David's strength and when he's singing "And my heart burns for you," you know that he truly means it."My Hope" is also a very strong track on this CD that makes you want to sing the chorus with him.Track 10 is a cover of a Sinead O'Conner song ("Thank You For Hearing Me"), which works perfectly with a Christian song and David ends it with "My Jesus, I love thee; I know Thou Art Mine."Very cool.Then we have a cover of Matt Redman's song "Undiginified," which David also makes his own.Lastly, there is the secret song "You Alone" that finishes off the album beautifully with the repeating words "I'm Alive, I'm Alive."All in all, this is a very strong worship album.The cool thing about the David Crowder Band is that they can take any song and make it cool and put their own seal on it.Many bands don't have a signature sound or do covers that try to sound like the original (but usually fail).Not so with this band.His voice is filled with such passion that it makes you want to close your eyes and sing along.This CD, in my opinion, is not as good as "Illuminate" (which is definitely a five star album as well) or as good as "A Collision," (which is a six star album!).However, you can see how the David Crowder band has matured with each CD and are just getting better and better (I also think it is amazing how his 3 full length CDs here on Amazon all have an average rating of 5!).If you do not have this CD, I highly recommend because it has many good tracks and your CD collection wouldn't be the same without it.Rock on, David Crowder!

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this CD
I was at the Christian bookstore shoping for my wife and the front counter had this album on sale for $5. Not one who spends a lot of time listening to music I recognized the artist but none of the songs.
Even when I wrote my life away You still receive me!
Only slightly disappointed, I think I had my expectations for this CD too high.After LOVING "Stay" and "Carried Away," I was hoping this CD would once again raise the bar for Jeremy Camp.What I found instead is a satisfying album that doesn't seem to challenge him.It seems kind of safe.While there are excellent tracks (Take You Back, Even When, My Desire, Letting Go, This Man, and Lay Down My Pride), they seem to be sound similar in their style, whereas Camp has been known to incorporte different styles in his music (Lay Down My Pride is the only track that seems truly "rock," although "Restored" and "Breathe" are good midtempo songs). This album seems to be more radio-friendly for Camp, which I understand now that Camp has such popularity, he has more pressure to make songs that fit into the CCM mold.However, I am afraid that will begin to chip away at his individuality in the Christian market.Don't get me wrong.This is a 4+ album with moments of greatness.I just hope that the next album, Camp will mature into the truly great artist that he has the potential of becoming.

Awesome!
I bought this CD for a particular song, which I often do.I was blown away!!!I love almost all of the songs on this cd.

It would be crazy to choose this world over eternity!
MercyMe's best album, by a mile!This is the sound and style I like the best by them as I feel that they excel with that medium speed rock with southern vocals.The lyrics in this album are some of the best to come out in Christian music in awhile!Each song is great, so it's hard to point out my favorites (since I like them all).But I will say that I LOVE: Spoken For, Crazy, Word Of God Speak, and The Love of God.There is not one bad song on here and all speak of the glory of God and Jesus Christ.While they had success with "I Can Only Imagine," this album is a much more balanced album.I wish MercyMe would have stuck more with this style, but they are still one of the best acts in Christian music today.If you could only pick one MercyMe CD, though, this would definitely be the one to choose.

Another Awesome CD from MercyMe! The best Christian band out there!
I LOVE this CD. I'm 14 and this is my all-time favorite Christian band out there. I have all the MercyMe CDs, I'd have a hard time saying which one is my favorite. I use this CD all the time. I play softball, so when I do my stretching exercises in the morning I'll pop this CD in. What a great way to start your day! Upbeat songs like The Change Inside of Me, Go, Your Glory, and All the Above are the perfect songs to get you moving. Anytime I have a hard day, the first thing I do is put on MercyMe. Songs like Spoken For, Word of God Speak, and Crazy always touch my heart and bring healing when I am hurting. I could not say which song is my favorite, but The Change Inside of Me, Spoken For, Your Glory, and Crazy all are awesome. Crazy hasalways been a favorite of mine. We are always pushed to be more like the world. How we dress, how we act, and most importantly, who we give glory to. When I feel pressured to act in a way that is not godly, this track always turns my heart back to the things of God. This CD is the perfect blend of upbeat tracks and soulful songs. Great Music
I bought this CD when planning my wedding just to get ideas for wedding music.I still listen to this CD after my wedding, because it has such great Christian songs commonly used in weddings.I loved the music was all sung by it's original artist.It's a must have CD of Christian Wedding/Love songs.

Praise the Lord with Song
"The Watchman" is an anointed, glorious collection of songs that will lift your spirit and strengthen your faith. The musicianship is superb, and Paul Wilbur's powerful voice touches the soul. Though recorded "live" at the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, the sound quality is excellent, and does not suffer from the usual concert recording fuzziness. Wilbur's songs are vibrant and joyous, with a Hebraic tradition to their melodic lines, and with a little reggae rhythm to track # 5, "Shout for Joy."

One of the best
This is by far one of the best worship albums ever. God is so evident in every note, every word, every cry. I'll be honest, it took me a couple times through before I found it wonderful. But now it's one of my favorites. Let Matt guide you into the throne room of the Most High and let your praise ring true to the King of Kings!

Amazed
I was truly blown away with the first song. Every single track on this album is both musically and lyrically. Redman is a very natural worship leader. His voice is captivating, and keeps with you throught the entire album.
Truly Amazing! A must own!
This is what a worship album is supposed to be. (That is all I really need to write, but I will go on...) From entering in worship with anticipation on the very 1st song, to each and every song after. Even after the last song it is like I want 10 more songs, I guess I just don't want it to end. It is sooooo awesome! But as all good things have to, it obviously does. Each live song builds in to the next, which basically takes you right there into the courts of the King. There is incredible depth in this album and real passion and reverence for our Lord, that not many worship songs or albums have. It is not for the faint of heart, or easy listener. Monotonous Album
Todd Agnew's song, Grace Like Rain, is an amazing song.However the album is composed of very similar songs... same tempo, same mood, same husky voice and instrumentals.The lyrics are so-so, some are inspiring, but the music is depressing, especially after 10 similar songs.

Todd has a real, earthy husky voice and we can relate to his songs.He sings as if he is one of us, as he is.

Powerful album of faith
Great songs, great heart. A little too "cute" on how Todd places the lengthy pauses between songs of the final track, but nonetheless a wonderful album. The title cut, "Grace Like Rain", is a classic. "Romans 12:1" is a keeper and the raw passion of "Wait for Your Rain" is absolutely powerful. ... Read more

One thing that will hit you quickly about Jeremy Camp’s Live Unplugged is the number of radio hits the 24-year-old has already chalked up. Ten of the 11 tracks on this release were penned by Camp and nearly every one has reached the top, if not next to the top, of the Christian radio charts. It’s been an amazing ride for Camp and he capably displays his career highlights here in a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. He plays it safe with basic arrangements throughout, but you will hear some nice piano touches by Justin Glasco on "Right Here" and "Empty Me." The addition of the Nashville String Machine is also used well on "My Desire," which may be the best track on the release. Along with Glasco’s piano accompaniment, Camp delivers powerfully and emotionally here and maybe even surpasses the song’s original version. Camp also shines bright on "Take You Back," "Stay," and "This Man." Kudos also go out to Camp’s wife Adrienne (who used to lead The Benjamin Gate) for some fine backing vocals. Granted, there are a few blemishes such as the cheesy vamp at the end of "Walk By Faith," a slower-than-it-should- be version of "I Still Believe," and the head-scratching cover of Tim Hughes’ "Beautiful One." But why major on the minors? Live Unplugged is a worthy effort and a nice inclusion to any Camp fan’s collection. Read more

Brilliant!!
This is a brilliant CD....The songs are naked and quiet. It's a true worship CD and one for the quiet time with God. The song "Beautiful One" is written by Tim Hughes from Watford, England and it's sung slightly different to the way he does it...but awesome none the less. The DVD is really great too and when watching it I felt like I was in the audience. Highly recommended! A+

Agree with most everything......
Let me say that I agree with almost everything positive expressed by others already.I'll just round out the comments a bit by commenting a little on the technical nature of this DVD.I found the camera work a bit distracting.For my tastes there were too many quickly moving camera angles.Made it hard to focus on the guy singing the music - like you would at a concert.There was also a lot of moving between B&W, out-of-focus, introduction of scratches/spots to replicate damaged film, graininess, etc.Seemed like the post production people wanted to use all the toys in the digital editing toolbox.The soundtrack is also only in stereo.Not bad, in fact, very good but certainly not up to the DD 5.1 standards of other DVD's such as the Eagles.So yes, it's very good but not quite 5 stars.

Ministers to my heart
Let me preface this review by saying that I felt for some time that Jeremy Camp was losing his edge, and that his first CD, Stay, was as good as it would get for Jeremy. He released Carried Me, a worship CD, on which some of the songs are remakes of other artists' work, and one song is even carried over from Stay! Then came Restored, which to me sounded a lot like Stay, but without some of the edginess. I hesitated to buy this acoustic compilation of songs from his past 3 releases.

Testimony is the sixth release for Virtue
Testimony is the sixth release for Virtue, following a maternity break for two of the three sisters. Having been around since 1994, this outfit has moved a long way on from their New Jill Swing beginnings. And, rest assured, Testimony exudes the sonic and spiritual strength and maturity that such longevity should bring.
Virtue's Best Album, and I thought the last one was good!
Excellent album! This is just the kind of album I like. It clearly speaks about Jesus, but the musical arrangements are modern and lean more towards R & B. I'm listening to it right now. I actually got fixated on Tack # 1. I had to put it on repeat. I would strongly recommend investing in this album. As for me, Virtue is now officially my favorite Female Gospel Group. Fortitude wins out for Best Male Gospel Group.

Well, let me first start off by saying that I think this is Virtue's best CD. It's like a contempory praise and worship album. It has something for the young and mature in Christ and for the young and old in age.

good variety of music
I love these two cds and believe anyone of any age would enjoy them.They are terrific contemporary worship songs that point our minds to God.My favorite songs are "All in all" by nichole nordeman, "In Christ alone" by geoff moore and Adreinne Liesching, and "Your Love, O Lord" by Third day.There were a couple songs I didn't really care for like Out of Eden's version of "Every Move I Make", "Let Everything That Has Breath" performed by Matt Redman (I like the original version done by Cademan's Call on the City on a Hill cd much better.), and "The Happy Song" byby Delirious.They are not horrible songs though. All the songs sounded up to date, no 80's sounding stuff.If you are looking for great pop worship songs that aren't too loud but not too quiet and boring either, then this is the cd for you.

I love every song on this CD.The songs are uplifting and familiar.This is one CD you can play over and over again.

What makes these compilations so great is that the songs ARE NOT always performed by the original artist or songwriter. The reason this is so special is because you get to hear other artists take on a song that makes it almost it's own new song. An example of this would be ZOE Girl's version of "Jesus, Lover Of My Soul" from WOW Red. The song by itself is great, but then ZOE Girl's version adds tons of power and depth. Another great thing about the WOW series is that when the original artist does perform, they may do a modified version of the song that you cannot get anywhere else. An example of this is "Draw Me Close " from the Katinas on WOW Yellow or Chris Tomlin & Steven Curtis Chapman doing " We Fall Down" from WOW Red. I love hearing different artists sing the same praise songs because they bring a different flavor and vibe to the song. This album is an absolute must have!!!!Israel has got to be one of the most annointed praise and worship leaders (let's not forget New Breed because they are powerful as well).I've had the honor of seeing them minister, in an amusement park no less, and the spirit of God moved in such a mighty way.That just proves that when you're annointed it doesn't matter where you are, the mountain top or valley low, God will move as you minister.Live from Another Level is a cherished collectible too.Powerful man of God!!!!

Road Rage
All I can say is don't listen to these CD's while driving in heavy traffic.You don't want to be trapped in a car with THE SOPRANO.At some point someone should have said, "OK Doris, back away from the Mic and let someone else have a chance."Maybe she's married to the producer.And let's talk about the automated-percussion.I don't know about you, but I don't really think "I Love to Tell the Story" needs a lot of cymbals, but that's just me.I came to anticipate each and every cymbal crash, and I was not disappointed.Amazon should put this in the 2 for $5.99 bin.Makes this Lutheran girl long for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

This is a good compilation of general classic hymns.Handy to sing along with.

Excellent CD Set..
I enjoy listening to these CDs. The voices in the choir are excellent and, just like my church choir, they sing all of the songs.
