4-0 out of 5 stars 21:03 do not disappoint!!
The reason why i (and probably a few others too), was first interested in this cd was because the production is handled by J-moss and Co. After checking it out i was very surprised as to how talented these guys are - they have excellent voices. There was no question that the uptempo joints were gonna be hott so it was upto the slow jams to convince me that these cats were for real and worthy of re-listenable R&B status in my stereo/pod. From the smooth "Young Love", the inspirational "Power of Christ" to the remake of "I'm Sorry" - these songs are pretty much classic. In a couple of the slower tracks there is a distinct flavour that will be loved by R&B listeners who miss the glory days of the '80/'90's. I also gotta give mention to the bonus track " Again i say rejoice" - simply amazing! I'm glad i copped this, you will be too!
4-0 out of 5 stars 21:03
This is an interesting cd. There is nice production and its an easy cd to listen to. Some tracks are reminiscent of early B2K. Althoug it is good and worth the buy, it was somewhat constrained, made obvious by the last track on the album. It is called Again I Say Rejoice and the vocal prowess and soul in the song is amazing. I wish the whole cd was like that. Thats why I will definitly keep an eye out for the following album where hopefully they will be allowed to blossom as the vocalists that they are.

4-0 out of 5 stars ECELLENT Production By PAJAM
I normally don't listen to hip hop or Gospel Hip Hop, but I had to check out this CD, after hearing the song "I'm Sorry" which features J Moss. .

5-0 out of 5 stars Most Under-rated Band in the USA
I accidentally found TFK when I was 'channel surfing' on my car radio.I stopped when I heard a jamming rock guitar, smashing beat, and awesome vocals. To my shock, the station I was listening to turned out to be "Christian"!Holy Shnikies!?When did Christian rock start sounding like that?Who knew?I must've missed that memo!
5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best cds I've heard in a long time
TFK has a great all-around sound. They can rap, but especially, express themselves through rock. The Art of Breaking is different from the previous two alblums, but just as good.
2-0 out of 5 stars This is an okay CD
This CD is okay but definitly not what I was expecting.I was suprised when I bought this Cd to find out that almost all of the songs sound alike. The lyrics are also not that great and they have a weird tune to them.If i had to have a favortie song on this CD it would have to be The Art of Breaking and Absolute because they both sound at least mildly good. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars What will people think?
When I was in high school, my dad got me "Free at Last", and I'll be blunt: I hated it! Back then I was looking for something that would not only be good, but sound good, and I was a new Christian. A few years later after I'd graduated, my best friend told me he had the latest dc Talk, "Jesus Freak". And believe you, me, I was big time like... WHO CARES! He asked me to just give it a chance, and after listening to the title track, I WANTED IT! Today? I still love it!

I own all of the DC talk CDs and this one is probaly my favorite. The only missteps are:Mrs.Morgan, and the Jesus freak reprise. My favorites are :so help me God,colored people,Jesus freak, what if i stumble, between you and me,like it,love it and need it,in the light, and mind's eye.I really recommend this!

Editorial Review

It can't be said enough that DC Talk is one of the most relevant and critical forces of change in the history of Contemporary Christian Music. They brought the sounds and words of the streets into the consciousness of mainstream Christianity. And musically, they've done it in the most pleasing manner. This hits package is but a mere glimpse of the brilliance Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait, and Kevin Smith have displayed in so many styles throughout their 10-year career in DC Talk. There are beautiful ballads of forgiveness ("Between You and Me"), riveting rockers of conviction ("Jesus Freak"), and the quiet, stark realities of being role models ("What If I Stumble?"). New cuts "Say the Words (Now)" and "Chance" play up the sweet melodies these guys know so well. Older fans will enjoy the inclusion of "Luv Is a Verb" and "Socially Acceptable." As long as the group keeps its finger on the pulse of the mainstream and its heart focused on the Almighty, another decade of hits is a good bet. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Just plain good
Lets face it; today's music scene is awful. I've pretty much stopped buying records on a regular basis since 2003, and for good reason; almost nothing is worth my time anymore. I don't want to hear a million and one rock/emo/pop bands that ALL sound the same and ALL post cute pictures on their myspace to compensate for their lack of talent. Thankfully, though, there are still a few bands out there worth a listen, and TFK is most definatly one of them. I actually got into this band through their thrid record, the art of breaking, and to this day it's still my favorite tfk record. Phenomenon is a close second though, with an equal ammount of energy and diversity. My only complaint would be that the last three songs are too heavy on the hip-hop (something not found on the art of breaking), but other than that, it's a 5 star listen. Trust me, if I actually think it's worth spending 10 bucks on, it's gotta be good. Buy it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Maybe I need to give it more time to grow on me...
I've been listening to Christian rap ever since Dynamic Twins days back in the early 90's.I love what this rapper is all about and his lyrics are exactly what the kids these days need to hear. He's one of the only Christian rappers out there that is not trying to be like those secular rappers who talk about how good they rap and what they possess. His focus is totally on Jesus and not himself.I like that.So refreshing after hearing T-Bone's last album.Notwithstanding, I think the music itself could use a little work.I believe that this rapper's heart was to come out with a message that the kids need as opposed to what they want, but if the song doesn't have a catchy beat, they will never get around to listening to the words.I've only listened to this CD 2 times and I realize my review stands in the minority.Maybe I'll like it better after listening to it a few more times.Maybe I'm just out of touch.Maybe it's not intended for someone my age. After all, I am almost 40. I guess the real test is how the kids themselves like it and not someone like me.So, I'm going to play it for the kids in my youth ministry and see how they react.Stay tuned.

I love this CD.. It brings me back to my high school days. I would recommend this to any one that just needs a pick-me-up.

5-0 out of 5 stars AGE TO AGE: not just a side companion for LEAD ME ON
AGE TO AGE is definitely a Christian music masterpiece, and should be treated that way. It's songs offer what contemporary Christian music fans wanted to hear in 1982. It has great praise-rockers ("Sing Your Praise To The Lord", "I Have Decided"), humorous songs ("Fat Baby"), songs that really touch your heart ("El Shaddai", "In A Little While", "Raining On The Inside", "Arms Of Love"), and songs that you can listen to anytime ("I Love A Lonely Day", "Don't Run Away", "Got To Let It Go"). Amy Grant really gave her absolute best on this album. Of course, nothing can beat LEAD ME ON, but AGE TO AGE is a masterpiece in its own right as well. If you want to travel to the beginnings of CCM, want some cheering up, or just can't find a CD to listen to, then get AGE TO AGE.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great CD
I bought this CD after going to a Rebecca St.James concert and hearing her sing the song Lion. The songs on this CD are well written and well preformed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Eventhough it's not the soundtrack, but I enjoyed it.
Firstly, I don't like this album much because it's not my style at all. Mine, well, is Classical, Opera, Choral, and Soundtracks. But, I have to admit that this album is not that bad, I want to tell you that IF you want the movie soundtrack, you should take a carefully look more. It's not quite a good thing that you've purchased the wrong album, and wrote a blaming or bad review back. It's YOUR fault, actually. If you want the soundtrack, you should look at it more carefully. Also, I think it wrote on the cover quite clearly that this album is a 'MUSIC INSPIRED BY' album. However, I wrote this review for this album, not to blame the others, so I would like to begin my EXCLUSIVE FIRST review TRACK-BY-TRACK for Music Inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia. Oops! I almost forget it. I hope that I shall have a chance to write TRACK-BY-TRACK review for the other album, too. My projects are 'The Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King' original soundtrack composed by Howard Shore, and 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' ORIGINAL special-edition SOUNDTRACK composed by Harry Gregson-Williams. So, some days later, there might be my review TRACK-BY-TRACK for these spectacular albums. Keep looking on my reviews, then. And Thanks, for the future.
4-0 out of 5 stars Fun stuff that's "getting better everyday"
This is good music. It's even almost as marvelous as the movie. "Music Inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia" is a special soundtrack sure inspires you to see it again if you've already seen it. I highly recommend most of the songs here. The entire cd is 42 minutes long, but it certainly does not feel that long at all {the movie was almost 2 and half hours and that doesn't feel like it either, go figure}. I think the soundtrack fits well with the movie. Not only that, but every song makes you feel darn good in it's own way. I knew that after hearing a couple of good songs I was going to get it, like I said, it's almost as good as the movie and that's basically the bottom line. That's about all I have to say about it, only in a rambling matter. Just let me tell you it's generally highly recommended {again}, as especially is the great movie on dvd that it's inspired by, and it's easy to see why. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars The "last" DC Talk album is the worst
This is probably the last DC Talk Album to be made since the three are well into their solo careers now.I hope they'll get back together to make another record because I always enjoyed their blend of rock, soul and rap. But, unfortunately, they left off the rap part on "Supernatural."As a long time fan of DC Talk, I was obviously attracted by the rap side of their music, since that's all they did on their first three releases."Supernatural" doesn't even throw a bone to the rap fans of TobyMac.Still, I like several songs on the album. My Friend, Fearless, Supernatural and a few others are good. For those of you that found these artists through their solo releases, "Supernatural" features Tait and Kevin Max much more than Toby Mac.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't settle for intermission...
I can not belive I didn't get this cd sooner.
3-0 out of 5 stars Both more mature and less cohesive at the same time
While the band insists they are on "hiatus", honest Christian music fans will realize that this is their swansong: the members' individual muses have been leading them on different paths for some time. So how does this stack up as the group's last word to their fans? Mixed, frankly...

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
I just got this CD a day ago and I am so in Love with it. I love almost every song. I just play this ablum straight through, for the most part. My fav. tracks are I Choose Now, Letting Go, Before You, Consumed, Meaningless, Love You With My Life, Whatever I Can't Erase, The Fight. Anthony Evans is a greater wiriter and he composed lyrics so well. This album is annointed and you can just feel his passion for the Lord in every song. I can honestly say that I can relate to every song on his album. Anthony if you are reading this keep allowing the Lord to use you the way he wants to, this album truely touched me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Liked It!!!!
I enjoyed the CD very much. The music is just a bit different from his first album, but the lyrics on songs like "Consumed" and "Whatever I can't Erase" certainly touched me deeply. Especially the beautiful viloin that opens the song, "Whatever I can't Erase" and the soulful beat to "Consumed." For me, it's a must buy...

5-0 out of 5 stars And What An Introduction It Is....
Ayiesha Woods' CD, with all songs written by her, is overall a soulful R&B pop style, but has quite a bit of variety, like breaking into rock on "Big Enough," which features Toby Mac, or the Jamaican sound of "Crazy" (reggae rap and melody reminiscent of Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" sound). Ayiesha's voice has that effortless quality that can sing low and deep or with a sweet tenderness or even with a hint of country as on "Happy."This well-produced CD is a celebration of the beauty of both God Himself and knowing and enjoying Him.Should garner some Dove Awards.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amen!
Wow, This woman can really sing her heart out...I really mean sang!
5-0 out of 5 stars Fresh, eclectic new Gotee artist
Growing up in Bermuda, Ayiesha Woods never dreamed of being discovered by TobyMac. After hearing her song "Crazy" on the radio while he was vacationing in Jamaica, Toby quickly found her contact information and called her. 27-year-old Ayiesha says, "I wasn't home when he first called. I was in disbelief; I couldn't believe it was him!" Although caught off-guard by the prospect of working with Toby, she knew this was the exact direction God was calling her: to bring her own brand of diversity, quality and purpose into music.

Finally a real Christian Hip Hop Album!I've heard other decent Christian hip-hop albums...Grits, Ill Harmonics, KJ-52, etc.But none compare to the flow, content and beats of Flame.I'm an avid Hip-Hop fan, but Christian Hip-Hop hasn't come into its own, until now!I can honestly say that I have put away all my 2Pac, Eminem, Nas, DMX, etc. since this CD came out.I have high hopes for the record label (Cross Movement Records) and will be giving all the artists a listen to due to this CD.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hardcore Sounding Holy Hip Hop
A definite buy! Flame is hard! Hard enough to win secular appeal. His rhyming stlye sounds hardcore, but the lyrics are clean and unmistakebly Christian (there goes secular appeal: no airplay for Flame). The beats were tight and the producers seemed to pick the right ones for Flame's stlye. I enjoyed this first release! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow....will KJ ever stop churning out great stuff?
Ok....I will admit that i don't own this cd but I've listened to it and I must say it's amazing. I own the Collaborations album and I've heard his other cds....all I can say is, in my opinion this cd tops them all.
5-0 out of 5 stars Much More than a Remix
Usually when an artist puts out a remix album, it is for a very specific reason: to cash in again on popular songs while putting in very little work. Most of the songs just feature new beats with very little else. However, KJ-52 surprises us again with something much more than was expected.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Christian Album of all time.
"World Service" is easily the greatest Christian Album of all time."Inside Outside" and "Rain Down" are my favorite songs of all time.Enough said.

5-0 out of 5 stars World Service is Awesome!
Delirious continues to grow musically. They are truly blessed by the Lord.I think this is their best album yet.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic. Fantastic. Fantastic. Fantastic. Fantastic.
After going for their concert, with Hillsongs, during the Festival of Praise in Singapore, it was one of the most fantasic experiences ever. Their songs are Power House! Loads of energy and loads of stage presence. Their album is just as good as their perfomance, and is a great album to buy even if your not a christian. A must buy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Thank You Jesus, For KNINE!!!
A few months ago I acutally had a chance to meet Knine at the taping of "Mix Master's Lounge" a new Holy hip hop variety show currently airing on INSP cable station. He definitely loves the Lord with his shining and most humble Spirit. This project is the best I've ever heard, from the lyrics to the beats. This was definitely needed for ALL!

5-0 out of 5 stars Hot, Hot, Hot!
This artist is HOT!I am a saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost sistah and yes I do like the HIP HOP beats!I just didn't want the lyrics that went along.Knine is a breath of fresh air!Thank you Lord!Get this CD and Praise the Lord!

5-0 out of 5 stars road less traveled
I am a true fan of hip hop, well music period and i kno how hard it is to find music worth ur money and time i brought common thinkin it was gonna be the c.d of the year i was wrong earlyr this year i brought eminem hopeing for lyrical prowles i got nothin so i brought 50 cent....nothin so i retreated from the main stream to come across knine i was skeptical at first but after the first track i realized knine came to play althou this is christen hip hop it has mass appeal wit banggin beats and a honest flow and lyrics to brake ya rewind button.the thing thats appealing about knine is he has a leader qualitywith out laughable "gangster" hooks or endless refence to riches and things young men kill themselves for but at the same time he never claimed to be perfect not once threw the c.d knine from what i can tell knine takes music as seriously as i do and to me that sounds like garunteed hot music for the future ...
