5-0 out of 5 stars Thank u
Thank you wow 1999 for bringing in my favorite satanist artists I love you, I jst love the songs "Into Satan" "love me devil" and "God is bad" thank you all and please release another one quickly!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best WoW CD up to that Time!
I have been a big customer of this CD series.I have bought every one of them from 1996-2005.The first few CDs in the series were not that great, because they would have a few contemporary christian songs and then they had a whole bus load of the crummy Gospel music. However, the WoW 1999 was the first year where they really said o.k. lets lose the gospel and stick to the contemporary rock/pop/alternative/rap Christian music. This set includes Third Days wonderful song "Agnus Dei" originally recorded by Michael W. Smith, Third Day takes it into a new genre Rock. Then there is The W's The Devil is Bad a hip swing tune about the temptation of the devil in our lives. Then we have one of the first appearances of Nichole Nordeman and Jeniffer Knapp.
4-0 out of 5 stars One of the Better Wow's

4-0 out of 5 stars Some outstanding tracks. . .
Some of the songs on these two CD's were GREAT, but some did not appeal to me (this is just MY opinion). My favorite songs are "I Want to Know You (In the Secret)," "Stranded," "Show You Love," "Can't Live A Day," and "Friend of Mine (Columbine)".Another good song is "Waiting Room".I recommend this CD to anyone who likes good Contemporary Christian music.

4-0 out of 5 stars Another nice WOW album.
This has some really good songs on it.If you're like me and don't want to buy albums, and just get a bunch of the most popular songs for the year, then I highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great! Amazing! WOW!!
The WOW selection of Christian CDs is amazing. They have compiled CDs full of the best of today's contemporary Christian artists, and have done it successfully. With WOW 2000, you get a little bit of everything. From my personal favorite, dc Talk, to Chris Rice, to Third Day, Jaci Velasquez, Audio Adrenaline, Jars Of Clay, Michael W. Smith, etc. This list goes on and on. There is even a song by The W's from the show VeggieTales called 'The Rumor Weed Song' which is obviously geared toward little children but is great for people of all ages. The WOW collections have amazed millions of adults, teens, and children all across America. You can not go wrong by buying these collections. The songs are very spiritual and uplifting and are great for anyone who is trying to start a Christian music collection or for someone who is adding to their collection. I highly recommend this CD. If you enjoy this one, try the other WOW Christian compilations. Buy this one right away, you will love it forever! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars not too shabby
the first time i listened i thought "eh, it's ok...nothin special though."but with every listen i like it more and more.my favorite song on it is "Just to Please You"
3-0 out of 5 stars Average
The debut cd from Fighting Instinct is nothing special but worth a listen. The first release I Found Forever is one of the best songs of 2006. You Don't Know is good and radio worthy as well. The other tracks aren't bad, and a few are good but this is nothing mind blowing. The booklet sucked though, it did have song lyrics but the pictures were just kids playing around.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fighting Instinct Packs a Punch
When I hear a new band, I listen to see what other bands that they may sound like, only as a point of reference. Immediately I thought of Trapt's first album.Unlike Trapt though, Fighting Instinct infuse nice lead guitar rifts throughout this selection of finely written material.I took me a couple of listens before I could tell that this was Christian Rock, which I have absolutely no problem with.I was always a huge fan of PFR.I give Fighting Instinct 4 stars for a very nice debut album. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Hard to catagorize
It just plain stinks. What kind of music is this?Never heard garbage like this before.Heard she was a gospel singer, who backslide, gave up the faith, and started to make alternative music?Well this aint alternative, this is garbage. What in the world are you people listening to?So some critics like this crap, and a handful of fans think she's great?Give me a break, this Sam/Leslie Phillips is a nobody. Her sales don't exist.Go back to Gospel music and try to make a comeback?Maybe someone will still be left who cares, cash in on the old name "Leslie".It's your only chance!Maybe at least you'll make a few bucks.I heard Sammy played a bar in town and about 50 people showed up (Columbus, OH).What a joke, Columbus is a big town and only 50 people came out?Wow, what a joke!

1-0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE
SAM PHILLIPS IS HORRIBLE COMPARED TO LESLIE PHILLIPS. ITS OBVIOUS SHE DID TOO MUCH BOOZING AND PARTYING TO SING ANYMORE. TOO BAD WHAT A WASTE OF A TALENT.

3-0 out of 5 stars Some Good Songs
This CD is like most of the solo efforts of the DC Talk members. It is good, but not anything outstanding. Michael Tait along with Kevin Max and Toby Mac had an amazing thing going with DC Talk.It was a rarely equalled group that was head and shoulders above virtually any other group out there past or present. In contrast, as solo artists, the three are pretty good.
5-0 out of 5 stars TAIT Rocks!
I have had this album for 6 months +, and I'm still enjoying it, which is a tell-tell sign for me.This albumrocks ("Lose This Life", "Numb", and "Wait", and "God Can You Hear Me", are some of my personnal faves). It also contains several soulful ballads that are very nice.If you haven't seen these guys live, you are missing out on half the fun.Chad Chapin is fabulous on the drums, and must be experienced live to completely appreciate his talents.Michael's voice is so diverse that he pulls off the ballads just as wonderfully as the rockin' songs.Get this cd, you won't regret it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!
Tait's sophmore effort gives you more of the solid, inspiring rock you'd expect from this extremely talented group. Michael is as genuine in person as he is on disc and this cd hits all the emotions in all the right places. Stand out songs are "Lose This Life", "Numb", "God Can You Hear Me", and "Holding Out For Grace". Chad Chapin's drumming is top notch! Can't wait for the next cd! ... Read more

In my opinion, KJs best album.Awesome songs like 47 pop stars, #1 fan, i'm guilty, back in the day, dear slim pt. 2, and whoop whoop.Nasty beats and a great flow.

5-0 out of 5 stars KJShows howto Representfor the LordJESUS
KJ Shows that he is no one hit wonder, but that he has the true talent. This talent comes from the one and only Jesus.I am glad to see a brother out there representin'.Everyone should go out and get this cut.If you will bless him and his ministry then God will bless you and yours. God Bless !

5-0 out of 5 stars it's pronounced five two
Honestly, I've never been into the contemporary rap/hip hop world, which is full of hatred, violence and foul sex. This is the first rap cd I've ever bought in my whole life. I first listened to "dear slim pt 2" on MusicMatch and fell in love with this guy's music and decided to buy this album. This album is not like anything I've ever heard before. Songs like "Back in the day" or "47 pop stars" are very funny and show that Kj has a great talent with playing with words. "Check youself" is pretty similar with his later work "For the ladies" from his following album "Behind the musik" (and also has the same message as Will Smith's song "Pump Ya brakes"). And my favorite "#1 Fan", the best song ever made buy Kj even though it may not be true.

5-0 out of 5 stars Get it while you still can.
This is one incredible cd. As well as "Red Revolution," also by Shaded Red. Though it seems that that particular album isn't available on Amazon.com. Funny, I thought they had everything. Anyway, the two Shaded Red CDs have found a home in all of my music players. I've been listening to this band for about five years, and the songs NEVER get old. There are maybe one or two songs on each album that I don't find enthralling, but that's about it.5-0 out of 5 stars YES! rEaL rOcK that doesn't fade.
This album provides real modern rock that doesn't fade. This is one of the few albums I've listened to that doesn't get old after a couple years, and that's not because I'm a diehard Shaded Red fan.Their sound delivers like few others--What can I say--I like these guys.If you can get ahold of a copy, you won't be disappointed. If you are, contact me and I'll buy it from you. What more of a guarantee do you need?5-0 out of 5 stars Artistic Gold
I pray that this band gets this CD back in print and their next one. I bought this one through a inventory music club 4 years ago and I fell in love with it. The lyrics are from the heart and the music rocks. I am in my mid thirties but I feel like the teenage boy who cried out to the Lord in anquish and found his cry answered by love. I only had the opportunity to listen to some downloads of Red Revolution and I would like a copy. This is a band to look all over for. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars a must buy for cadmons call fans
I know very little about Cadmons call. The only cd, besides this one, that I own, is 40 acres, which I hear is one of the best. This cd is about the same.Actually, in terms of worship, I think this one is better with the song, "Jesus is All I Need" reminding belivers who listen to this cd that they need not money or riches as long as they have Chrsit.
5-0 out of 5 stars incredible mission-centered music
this is one of the best christian albums i have listened to. It is focused on the fact that God is glorified through christians and the work of the cross. The music is very well done. Bravo!

5-0 out of 5 stars The latest and amazing Caedmon's Call album
'Share The Well' is the latest and most recent album from this band who have finally struck absolute gold in this truly amazing sojourn of a CD. The natural progression of Caedmon's Call has the band touring Christian refuges in Ecuador and India and the music of this band is transformed. The pop sounds are now shelved for a new world feel, a rock and new age come-together with the music traditions of Latin America and India mixing with the sound of Caedmon's Call that brings about a beautiful sound. This CD includes the hit song 'There's Only One' that is probably in my opinion the best hit song of Caedmon's Call for a long time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easily my favorite Audio A. album
This is one album that is best listened to as a whole; every song builds on the last and complements it so well. Of the 2 "Worldwide" tracks, I prefer "Two," but the song that made my jaw hit the ground was "Miracle." This is a simply beautiful song regarding the miracle of losing your prominence in this life and realizing that it's actually better that way. Very poignant song; a must-hear for anyone needing encouragement in their faith. "Church Punks" is another great one, asking Christian youth to stand up and be counted as one of His. Similarly, "Dirty" invites us to live our faith and not be afraid of getting dirty for Christ. I could go on like this for every song, but you get the idea. This album is very lyrically intricate and just fun to listen to, like all Audio A. albums. You can't get much better than this!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
These guys are proof that Christian bands can really rock. This album was my introduction to AA, and I'm very pleased with it. Although I haven't really taken a look at some of their other albums, I think I might. So if you're into rock at all, pick this one up. Not only do they sound great, but their lyrics always have a good message, which makes it all the more worthwhile. My favorites include both Worldwides, Leaving 99, and the Ocean Floor Remix. Rock on!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Currently my favorite album

"Welcome to the Freak Show" 5-0 out of 5 stars dc Talk LIVE
This album is awesome.Welcome to the Freak Show combines a lot of dc Talk's greatest hits in a live recording. My favorite song on this album is "What if I Stumble."Most live albums crank up the volume on the crowd noises and it gets annoying after the first three songs. In this album the crowd noise adds to it.You actually get the full experience. If you enjoy this album I would check out Smalltown poets and Audio Adrenaline.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fittingly great as they're amazing live
I've seen many concerts from many different acts in various genres but none can hold a candle to dc Talk. When you take that stage performance and great songs you come up with this cd and the live video that is also sold. The stage presence comes across on the cd the same way a smile comes across on a telephone. You can't see the smile, but you can hear it in the voice. One of my favorite songs on this cd is a 'new' version of The Hardway. It's different than you've heard on an earlier studio album and I think much better. With live albums one of the fears is usually the sound quality and the crowd noise. This particular cd has great sound quality and only has crowd noise when applicable. If you're a fan of dc Talk buy this cd and the video of them live in concert - I guarantee you'll thoroughly enjoy them both. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars AA Comes of Age!
"Bloom" is a quantum leap forward for AA.After two spotty albums the band had built a following; but this thrust them forward into the spotlight, and deservedly so."Never Gonna Be As Big As Jesus" and "Walk On Water" are among my favorite Christian rock songs, and several other quality songs show the growth and maturity of the band - notably "Good People", "I'm Not The King" and "Man Of God".The biggest shortcoming of AA is when they try innovative covers of classic rock songs, and their cover of Edgar Winter's "Free Ride" is a confusing loopy ride; but the innovation is what makes AA who they are, and I wouldn't change them for anything.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Disc
I am a huge rock music fan.I picked up this disc when it first came out in '96.I was drawn in because the band re-made the classic "Free Ride" by Edgar Winter.I thought that 70's influenced Christian music might be worth a try.Unfortunately, they did a terrible job of it; not only that, but the rest of the CD isn't much better. The production is absolutely painful to listen to and some of the lyrics are embarrassingly shallow.I know that the large majority of reviews for this CD are positive, but I really think that this is an awful CD.I don't want to come across as being against Christian music, I am just against bad music in general. If you are a fan of rock music, and you are looking for something from the mid-90's by Christian artists, you might want to try Third Day's self-titled debut, DC Talk's "Jesus Freak" or Rebecca St. James' "God."

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Christian Rock albums ever

5-0 out of 5 stars One of Christian Rock's All-Time Best
For those of you that read my other reviews, you'll find that 5 stars is a rare occurence for me.I do that because it is only once in a while that an album is simply a cut above all others being produced."Underdog" is just that kind of album.Audio Adrenaline is a band that has always worked a variety of musical styles, with a consistent message of faith in Jesus Christ. But on this album, AA hits a pinnacle of performance in all of their divergent styles.Want classic rock? Here comes the title track. Catchy pop? You'll never get "Get Down" out of your head.Rockabilly?"DC-10" (a remake of their own song from their first album) is a tight, fun 50's romp.A call to mission? "Hands And Feet" is as compelling a call as you'll hear.Classic hymns? How about "It Is Well With My Soul"?And one of the most performed AA songs of all, the hilarious but wonderfully relevant "The Houseplant Song" gives people the ability to question how they're putting their faith into action while smiling the whole time.Quite simply, this is very close to being Christian rock's masterpiece, in the same category as DC Talk's "Jesus Freak", Jars of Clay's eponymous debut or Petra's "More Power To Ya".If you could only buy 5 Christian pop albums in your entire life, this really should be one of them.

3-0 out of 5 stars a little too much the same.
This c.d is fairly good, but not great.I do like some of the songs, though.I like mighty good leader, underdog, get down and hands and feet. The rest of the songs are all pop or very soft rock.Iam still a big fan of aa's work!Don't get this c.d unless you are a die-hard fan.I would get don't censor me,bloom, zombie, hit parade or worldwide.thank you for reading this!

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding!
If there is a better christian alternative rock album out there, I have yet to find it.The songs on this record are so well written and diverse. The songs not only have great melodies, but their words are powerful, convicting and very moving. This is some truely God-inspired music for a new, younger crowd. ... Editorial Review

When singer Mark Stuart proclaims that "I'm a warrior/With a warrior's heart/And it burns for you" on "Until My Heart Caves In," the title track of Audio Adrenaline's ninth studio release, you have to believe it. If not for the evident raw passion in his voice, Stuart and his band mates are known in their career for blistering live performances and a zeal to rock the house. And that enthusiasm carries over believably well on this album. Thanks to producer Jay Joyce (Patty Griffin, The Wallflowers, Iggy Pop, Macy Gray), Audio A has never sounded better from the studio. Tyler Burkum's guitars are the driving force behind tracks like the opening rave-up "Clap Your Hands" and the title track. Burkum's continuing development as a lead singer (remember the magnificent "Ocean Floor" from Lift?) also offers a more melodic approach with "Starting Over" and "Light of the Sun." Meanwhile, the band's playful spirit from earlier days remains and cannot be contained on the energetic bouncy cover of Otis Redding's "You're Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher." While Until My Heart Caves In may not produce immediate, sure-fire radio hits like the band's previous work, this release admirably offers a greater musical depth and sense of emotion uncaptured until now. Old fans and newcomers will find plenty to like here, so turn up the volume and let Audio A rock your world. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Audio A recording in years
The infectiousness of this CD really took me off-guard.I mean, I'm a loyal Audio A fan who buys all their CDs and have come to expect a certain level of excellence from them in every recording:
4-0 out of 5 stars Amazing CD form an Amazig band.
I'll admit it, 2 weeks ago I hated the thought of seeing adio adrenaline in concert with my church youth group. I like bands like Seether or knickleback...not this mess.
3-0 out of 5 stars Polished and Heartfelt
Audio A is back, and while this cd has some great moments, it doesn't top "Worldwide". This disc has more of a worship feel to it and really reflects this band's maturity and longevity. "Clap Your Hands" kicks off this disc in true AA fashion and other stand outs are "Until My Heart Caves In" and "Starting Over". I particularly like their remake of "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher"! This cd really shows off their excellent muscianship with the only real disappoinment being "King". The song itself is uplifting in its lyrics and delivery but falls victim to the same formula (structure and chord progression)that has driven the "worship song" format that has become all too popular lately. Worship songs are great, but some diversity is needed from all the "cookie cutter" songs hitting the airwaves. If you are new to AA, grab "Worldwide" and "Hit Parade". That's a solid start to this amazing band and their passionate ministry of music! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Sure, there are more inventive or intense contemporary Christian acts out there. But as acts aspiring to boy-band fame in the CCM market go, Plus One are the best. Their harmonies are really solid and intricately woven together, their convictions undoubtedly heartfelt, their arrangements uplifting. The message is as pure as the golden melodies these boys let loose. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Plus One more star!
When I first heard that there was going to be not one, but two Christian boy-bands (the other being True-Vibe), I have to confess that I was not crazy about the idea. My fear was that they would be a "boy band" first and a Christian group second.5-0 out of 5 stars one word...AWESOME!
This CD is great! The group has great vocals, spirit, and style. This is DEFINITELY their best album yet!

Not much to say that has not been said. I just wanted to add my 5 stars to the mix.

5-0 out of 5 stars worship at its best
man. intimate. meaningful. powerful. all for the Glory of God
5-0 out of 5 stars A Superb Alt/Worship Debut
Rising from one of the largest college services in the nation, at The Flood in San Diego, comes Something Like Silas - a band that does worship music in a different way. The Flood and Something Like Silas are symbiotic - they were both born at the same time and are inexorably linked; all five members of Silas are a deeply involved in The Flood and play there at least two thirds of the weekends of the year. Services at The Flood are what is known as "emerging worship" - a post-modern style that emphasizes interaction and artistic expression in the midst of the worship and teaching. "We want to change the way people look at worship bands," says Eric Owyoung, the band's lead singer.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty darn good
As a Relient K fan, I have to say that this is not the best of thier albums, but definitely not the worst I've ever heard.I like the bonus Christmas Disc. They should have released it separately.Good catchy pop-punk cd.

2-0 out of 5 stars way too pop for my taste
a few of my friends have been trying to get me into relient k- but i was not really interested and a little skeevy on the idea of christian rock (i didnt want someone preaching to me over my stereo) so i never bothered. but alas i saw this album on the sale rack and bought it. but i can't get into it. it is so pop and whiny in places and very middle school and yes, for the record i have gotten into christian rock-(and no, rk doesnt preach) and most of the christian rock i've found is good. but does relient k have any better albums?-less pop would be a plus- b/c this just pass for me as being any type of rock.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hoops i did it again
i fell in love with another band. i actually reviewed the other CD thats isnt enhanced. if you can find my review there you know how i feel about this band.

5-0 out of 5 stars love it......love it....
This cd is as good as his first one. I kept that cd playing off and on for months in my car. Now this one is kept in the cd player. The songs are either upbeat and/or worshipful. Love it. Highly recommended.
3-0 out of 5 stars Asi,asi
I don't know what to say about this album. Some of it is fantastic, but the rest of it is slow and pretty much the same lyrics and tune. I'm sorry to say that I did drift off somewhere in the middle of this album. I hope Jadon's next CD is more upbeat. And for those of you who don't speak spanish asi,asi means so,so.

5-0 out of 5 stars Loved this CD the first time I listened to it!
Usually it takes me a few times to get into a CD completely. There are a few songs that I know and like, so I buy it.Then I have to get to know the rest of the songs. Not so with Life on the Inside. From the first time I listened to the CD, I loved every song, and found myself wanting to listen to it again right away. Now after listening to it a half a dozen times, I feel like I have heard these songs for years.I had to check Jadon's other CD to make sure they weren't repeats (I knew that "What if" was). And sure enough, they were all new songs!Great CD...definately deserves some airtime and awards! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A move to a harder style
AA moves forward again with this CD, rocking harder than they had on previous disks. On many of the songs on "Some Kind Of Zombie", the band moves to a more modern rock sound, whereas its predecessor, "Bloom", tended to embrace more of a classic rock sound."Chevette" and "Lighthouse" are excellent modern rock sounds, and "Blitz" imports the O.C. Supertones to give the song an injection of party appeal. The band also still has great pop sensibilities with the simple but catchy "People Like Me" and the intellectual "Original Species".And the title track is as hard as AA has ever rocked, with a catchy riff and chanting chorus placed against Mark Stuart's strong lead vocal. This album is also a preview of the budding diversity of styles that AA would showcase on its next release, "Underdog".It's probably somewhere between a 3 and 4 star performance, but considering this album represents the bridge between two sensational albums, I have to believe that the band needed to make this album exactly as they did and for that reason, the album gets four joyous stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Non-depressing music for people who like contemporary Xtian.
The songs show an underlying energy supporting the music. The lyrics aren't depressing, they aren't "You are not good enough", "You're a sinner and you should suffer into my graces..."'
5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS C.D.!!!!!!
THIS C.D IS UP THERE WITH UNDERDOG AND LIVE BOOTLEG. THIS C.D IS PRETTY HEAVY.IT MAY LOOK WEIRD ON THE FRONT,BUT TRUST ME IT'S AWESOME!AUDIOA. PRODUCES THEIR GREAT MUSIC THRU THIS C.D!
