All time favorite!
This is my all time favorite children's album - and having been a kindergarten / pre-school teacher for 20+ years, that is saying a lot!The title song is always a favorite, but every song on here is great!My class is doing two songs from this CD for our kindergarten graduation tomorrow ("Family Tree" and "Together Tomorrow") and the kids wanted to do several others.I had to draw the line somewhere!My own children (now ages 20, 11 and 9) still love this CD, too.This is really a winner! Strongly recommend!

We love this CD!
We got it from the library and now I am buying it.It is catchy, fun and socially aware.Oh yeah, and the kids think it is great too.We sing it together and have so much fun.It's a great pick.

Great for kids from toddler to pre-teen!
Early on, we found Tom Chapin when we (adults) got tired of other kids' artists.Back then, our child was 2, and our friends kids were 6 and 10, and we all loved singing the songs, and even seeing Tom in concert.Great family fun!

This CD rocks.......HARD!!!
Oh man, this CD is freakin' awesome.I listen to it before I go to the gym to get pumped.Every song on here is great so you can listen to the whole thing without skipping songs.I wish there were more CDs like this.I love to rock out to this disc when it's party time.COOKIE RAWKS!!!!

very varied tunes and fab lyrics
If you're a cookie fan, this is great, it has a lovely train song with Casey McPhee in it, and a cute song with Ernie about breakfast menus. As a parent, I like the funny lyrics, so I don't get too tired of listening over and over again...

Wonderful!
We purchased this CD for our son's first birthday.He LOVES it!He has to go to sleep every night with this CD playing in the background, and even wants to play with and carry around the CD case!We are big "Cookie Monster" fans at this house and were excited to see that there was even something like this available.And I swear that I remember some of the songs from when I was little!Cute lyrics; fun music; Cookie sings with several other familiar Sesame Street characters; children old and young will love this one! ... Great CD!
My son loves everything Sesame Street.This CD is no exception.It's cute with a fun beat for kids.

LOVED IT!
My children loved this!My husband and I also enjoyed the play on the Beatles, etc.My personal favorite is "Rebel L" while my son adores "Grouch Girls".Definitely a good investment.

As a Beatles fan I love the concept and the clever play on words. The only tracks that are actually musically any good are 'Duckie' and 'Letter B' oh o.k and 'Hey Food'. Great Young Children's Album Kept Simple By Bobby Susser
Many groups of songs within children's albums are simple. Some collections of children's songs are great. But, this one is simple enough to be great, and goes beyond that. For example "Good Morning...Good Morning!" has simple lyrics, and melody so all the children in the nursery school I have can easily follow, even the ones who have difficulty singing a melody. This allows all my class to sing along, enjoy the singing, learn from the song, and develop confidence in themselves. The repetitive lyrics helps in the same way, and the instrumentation, while simple, makes every song exciting in its own way. Songs like "Use Your Imagination" and "We Have To Eat" are wonderful to sing and stimulate the children for pantomime activities that bring the message to the children in a very clear way. "Don't Forget To Exercise" sends out a great message in the most simple way. Bobby Susser has kept it simple and indeed made it great. Play it for your children and I assure you they will easily follow the songs, learn from them, enjoy themselves, and feel that they are great. This is very clever simplicity.

Bobby Susser Is Brilliantly Simple For Young Children
I have a preschool class that loves everything that comes from Bobby Susser. This collection "My Day/In Motion And Play" is a good example why. The songs take the kids on a journey that consists of a child's day. The songs are easy to follow, but clever enough for the melodies and lyrics to stick with the kids long after the music stops playing. Exercises, pantomime, singing, and other activities are used to reinforce the ideas of each song. Subtle use of sounds and instruments along with magnificent harmonies keep every song and idea interesting. There is absolutely no room for boredom in Bobby Susser's songs that he creates for children. He always gets to the point, and it appears to be the same point that interests a young child. My children (ages 3-8) LOVE this CD
The songs are very catchy and clearly understadable. I hate it when you buy educational music cds and they go too fast to sing along or you can't understand the words...none of those problems here, and the kids learn tons of interesting science facts while they have fun!
Buy this at your own risk!
This is one of the worst recordings I have ever heard.The lyrics sound as if they are straight out of the encyclopedia, without a shred of artfulness.The musical settings of the lyrics are awkward and there isvery little here to hold my attention.I want my money back! ... Read more

We love it!
Although we have been listening to this CD every time we are in the car (this CD and Blue's Big Musical CD are the only CDs my 2 year old son will listen to)for the past two months--we love it!I can't decide who enjoys it more--me or my son!While many kids' CDs are painful for the parents to listen to, this one keeps getting better and better (as does Blue's Big Musical).I highly recommend it!

Outstanding Kids Cd!Best of the Blue's Clues Titles
My 2 year old son has all 4 Blue's Clues cds and he like this one the most.The songs make him get up and dance, and the lady who plays the part of grandma sounds like the singer, Jewel.She has a very pretty voice.The only Blue's Clues Cd that I wouldn't necessarily buy again would be "Goodnight Blue".It's fine, but too slow...not upbeat enough for playtime.The other 3 Blue's Clues titles are superior to "Goodnight Blue" in my opinion."Blue's Big Treasure" is our 1st choice of the 4 if you are purchasing your 1st Blue's Clues cd.

We just can't get enough Blue!!
My 2 year old son loves Blue and only Blue!! He also loves music, so when I came across the blue's clue's music, we couldn't resisit.We were not disappointed! I love the music as much as he does; I find myself singing along all time!The music is very well written and will keep even the pickiest parents jammin' in the car with their kids!! Endurance test
As someone who has listened to this CD several times a week for over a year, trust me when I tell you it is a 5. I still like the songs - Cousins is a great song, fun words fast tempo you feel the fun onslaught of a big family with rowdy kids in your house as with all of Tom's songs you listen to them and you can feel him smiling while singing. These songs just make you happy.

I heard 1 song and I've never been the same sence
I was listening to Kids Tunes on my satalite dish late one night when ON MY WAY TO SCHOOL by Tom Chapin came on. I listened to it and withen 30 seconds I found mysesf singing along. I love it even more then than my second favorite band Slayer. Tom Chapin is the greatest artist of our times. Hip Hip Hooray
My children (ages 3 & 5) received this CD as a gift last Christmas. It is by far our favorite recording of children's songs. We play it often and find ourselves singing the songs all the time. We love to sing "Going to the beach" on our way to enjoy the sand and surf.
LOVE this CD!!!!!!
My 1-yr old received this CD as a "party favor" at her friend's birthday party.We have listened to it every day since Saturday!!I find myself singing at work songs like, "Go Go Go" and "Howdy Partner"- I feel like a little kid again!
