5-0 out of 5 stars ablsolutely the best cd ever
first of all, i would like to say that i am in the military stationed in germany, and that i noticed that the tour of brand new doesnt go through germany... i must say i am deeply upset about it for i cannot live without this cd. i have owned it more than five times, because everytime i have it, i introduce new people to it, and someone always manages to sneak away with it in their possession. i got on here to hopefully buy it for the last time, and saw some of these reviews and i felt that with as many times as i have owned this album, i would have to write a review for it. if i was a gay person i would sleep with each of the band members. since im not though, ill stick to just listening to them. and if they somehow get to this page and want to look at some of their reviews, i hope that they will see this and come out to germany, for i would love this more than anything in the whole entire world. i love you guys you are so awesome

2-0 out of 5 stars what on eath happened?!
this album isnt half as good as their first one, i dun wanna bitch coz brand new does rule, theres only one really really good song in this album and thats Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades, then theres The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows... and thats ok, nothing special, most of their other songs are all dull, boring and really slow, with like no instruments playing in the background, i hav read some of the reviews and there are heaps of ppl saying OMG BEST ALBUM EVA!!!! but i dont see it.. i want to but i just cant see it....

5-0 out of 5 stars Oh It Hurts To Be This Good...
Wow, what can I say about this album? I'm speechless... I've had this CD for a really really long time now, more than a few years. I've seen the guys play before at a pretty small venue as well. This is probably my favorite band of all time. The album is awesome, and Jesse Lacey is just incredible. His voice is magical and there's nothing like it. It's better than their first album, a lot different & unique. I've been waiting for them to release a new CD & I think it comes out this year. I listen to pretty much everything & a lot of new bands that aren't that well known, this is def. one of them that needs to be more recognized for their music. Overall Brand New will not disappoint you. This album is unlike other "emo, punk, rock" band out there. Go grab it! ... Read more

Editorial Review

So relentlessly catchy is "Soundtrack to Your Life," the single off the relentlessly catchy debut by MTV reality scenester Ashley Parker Angel, that the average vulnerable listener may begin to worry--after weeks of being able to hum nothing else--that it has literally become the soundtrack to her life. This effect can be especially troubling for boy band-haters--Angel, after all, was a founding member of the short-lived 'N Sync-like outfit O-Town--but it shouldn't be. On this solo debut, the flop-haired heartthrob comes across about as boy-band-derived as any recent entry on the modern rock charts. Which is to say, not at all. On opener "Let U Go," A.P.A. comes out rocking hard: elements of pop swirl around, but so do post-punk flourishes (a band like My Chemical Romance might have had a home in his iPod while he was recording). Later the disc takes a turn toward the mainstream, with "Crazy Beautiful," "Beautiful Lie," and "Feel So Alive" sounding as squarely pop--soaring guitars and all--as their titles suggest. But to discount Angel as a rocker because he has a way with a pop hook wouldn't be fair. Overall, this is Goo Goo Dolls-type rock, accessible but best played loud, with a surprisingly sharp edge. "Perfect Now" puts the point across best: In it, our melodic mastermind thoughtfully knocks an overachieving prom queen from her self-satisfied perch. The rub: he's not afraid to drop the "A" word in an early verse. Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good
This album is simply 'pretty good'.Nothing more, nothing less. It's got some good songs, and it's got some clunkers.I don't think Ashley knows what type of music he really wants to get into yet, and I don't think the band that is backing him up on that album is all that good.Ashley is very talented, and needs to get with a group of younger, edgier musicians, in order to take his music to the next level.Simply making 'ok' music is unacceptable for someone as personable, likeable, and talented as he is.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great CD
I never heard of this artist until I saw his reality show on MTV and kind of bought this CD out of curiosity and reviews here.

5-0 out of 5 stars Tegan And Sara are simply the best.
I listen to a whole wide variety of music, neglecting the country and rap side of things. This is my first review ever written anywhere, but these girls need to be known.I can't define their music, someone said "folk punk", but it's boundless.Their music isn't held down by genres. Not only are their voices and songs unique and amazing, their stage presence and lyrics are serene. There's no description really that can cover them or their CD's, so just go to www.teganandsara.com listen to a free song, and then come back and buy it.
5-0 out of 5 stars "Heavy" in stars
Heavy starts of with a light, gliding through the guitar stings with a dexterity similar to that of a Mexican Mariachi guitarist. Tegans low, raspiness adds to the sheer intensity and focus of the rich guitar solo. The slight, almost imperceptible intervention of the piano at first adds a burst of emotion and amplitude to the song meanwhile enhancing the poetic lyrics, which are rich in metaphor for a missed love. The powerful inspiration of the lyrics that calls out for the "girls to be strong" and "unstoppable" is tied with the dramatic instrumental thus conveying a moving message of feminine power. The climax of the song is reached once the instrumental of the guitar, piano, drums explodes in a reaction of pure drama, heartache, passion and longing emphasized by the hoarse, yet emotional release of vocals screaming out "you're all that I want." A heart-wrenching denoument is reached leaving the listener strangely longing for their loves. Overall, the song delivers a message of lost love through the perspective of an angsty female.

1-0 out of 5 stars Snooze
If you like boring, cacophonous guitar, then by all means, listen to "Heavy" by Tegan & Sara. But I must warn you: if you decide to torture yourself by playing this song, you should probably wait for a night when you are plagued with intense insomnia because this song will put you to sleep. The repetition in the lyrics is rivaled only by the recurrence of a single sound produced by scratching a fork against a desk, although I think that Tegan & Sara actually considers it guitar. She sings about being unstoppable, but the stop button on my CD player begs to differ. I strongly do not recommend listening to this song unless you wish to punish yourself mercilessly. Seriously, just shoot yourself in the foot and you'll get the same effect. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Punk rock is meant to be played loud and snotty. Blink 182 are a San Diego punk rock threesome whose interest in arrested development has led them to a sparkling array of sex jokes that cover everything from anal sex to masturbation to... Well, you get the idea--and that's just the between-song banter. This limited-edition live collection--a holding pattern until the band's fifth studio album is released in 2001--features a slam-dunk collection of the band's hits, fan favorites from their various studio albums, and new tunes ("Blew Job" among the enlightened tracks). One additional studio track, "Man Overboard" (already a hit on a radio near you), packs a harder punch than most, thanks to the studio finesse. But mostly these are revved-up versions of songs to break a skateboard by. With the added appeal of a color booklet and about seven minutes of "stage banter" tacked on at the end, guaranteed to either leave you in stitches or have you grounded for a month. Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars good
this is a good live album. i dont watch mtv and i hope no one else does but this is good live. the jokes in between songs are hilarious as long as your not uptight or disgusted by their language. the bestpart is the 20 something tracks of them just talking.
3-0 out of 5 stars Good Cd
This is a good live blink 182 cd....Almost too good.I have a couple other concerts of them and the quality of their singing and playing isn't anything compared to this one.I thing their was some kind of tampering with the vocals. On the other blink cds, you can't even understand half of the things tom says, but everything is clear and understandable on this cd. Oh-well, besides that, the cd is good because they change the voice patterns on some songs like What's my age again and Voyeur and Pathetic.Even if they did mess with the cd, i still love them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Brillient
Such good fun and humour. Tom and Mark are so funny and first time listening to it really made me laugh. Also the songs on it are awesome from their best album enema of the state.

3-0 out of 5 stars How to evolve
The last Nada Surf record I listened to was their first with the funny song 'Popular', the rest of the album I dismissed for being too much like Weezer. Now they are a lot like more sophisticated (soundwise) bands like Death Cab. It's always good to see this kind of evolution in a bands sound. They are still not my favorite band and they will probably never be, but it's a good record to listen to nonetheless

4-0 out of 5 stars Pop perfection
On "The Weight is a Gift" Nada Surf isn't doing anything it hasn't done before.
3-0 out of 5 stars 3-1/2 stars -- Surf's up!
I was surprised when I came across Nada Surf's latest album The Weight Is a Gift because I didn't even know they were still around. And it looks like all the other reviewers on here are cult followers of the band, even stating that the album is better than their last album, Let Go (I didn't know about THAT album either). I personally think the album is decent, but not classic.

Editorial Review

You can tell a lot about a band by the company it keeps. Simple Plan's close chums include Good Charlotte and Blink 182, giving one a fair hint of the sound the group's debut, though, judging by song titles like "I’m Just a Kid," "The Worst Day Ever," and "God Must Hate Me," it’s clear these Canadian pop-punkers are aiming for a younger demographic still. Ignore the bikini-clad babes that festoon the sleeve--there’s none of Blink 182’s smutty double-entendres here. Frontman Pierre Bouvier writes about skipping school, crashing dad’s car, and lusting after girls that don’t know he exists. "Every day," he sob, "is the worst day ever." The music itself is far from glum. "I’d Do Anything" is a beaming Green Day-style chugger, while "When I’m With You" is a tale of obsession and heartbreak that owes more to the Go-Go's than Rancid. Seasoned punk fans will be put off by the excessive juvenilia, but the new wave should lap this up. Read more

Remember the style of music that came out in the late 70's called Punk?
5-0 out of 5 stars An awesome CD
This is one of the best albums I have ever heard. There's no songs on here that I don't like. All of them are great. Especially I'm Just a Kid, I'd Do Anything, and Perfect. I reccomend this to anyone who likes bands such as Yellowcard, The All-American Rejects, and blink-182 or anyone who is looking for some good music to listen too.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ill be nice... this should only get 2 and a half!!!
Whoah... this is Simple Plan's first album and i got the impression that they didnt know what to sing about!!!Green Day is WAY better Perfect and I won't be there are pretty well the only good songs on this album... oh i forgot so is I'm just a kid. But really... they have a lot to complain about it seems to me... Still Not Getting any is way better... this whole CD is whining... some of it is pleasurable whining, but most of it is annoying....

3-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good album
I enoyed parts of this album, but still found myself skipping some songs on it.Overall it's quite good and worth the money, and I have to say that the song "Letter from Iraq" is one of the most powerful punk rock songs I've heard in recent years.Liek I said, good, but not great.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Bouncing Souls Bounce High with this One
Many fans are excited that the Bouncing Souls are back with 12 new energetic songs on "The Gold Record." They have been one of the bands paving the way for puck rock for nearly the last fifteen years with their DIY rock antics. Now after three years the Bouncing Souls return to out do themselves with this more musically diverse release. The lead off track, "The Gold Song" is a traditional punk rock song, but track after track the sound changes to a more diverse sound with a trumpet solo in "The Pizza Song" and even a song that is only harmonies ("The Messenger").
2-0 out of 5 stars Where's the Energy?
This album was mediocre at best.I really liked every Bouncing Souls CD before this one, because they all have a lot of energy to them and are fun to listen to.This one has a couple of decent songs, but nothing like what I'm used to out of the souls.I guess you might like this CD if you're into EMO, but not if you're looking for something like the Souls have put out in times past. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars SoCo's Finest Showing
I first stumbled across Something Corporate with the new musical stylings of Jack's Mannequin and what I found was music that that was just as good as JM but also had a nice flair of harder rock with a little punk edge. This album is SoCo's best work. 'North' is a very good album in itself but just isn't comparable to LOTW. 'I Woke Up In A Car', 'Punk Rock Princess', 'Fall', and many others make this a must have for any JM or SoCo fan.

3-0 out of 5 stars its not for everyone but that doesnt mean it sucks.
ok...so here it goes...this is my last review for a while. if you think about it...reviews are kind of pointless. everyone has different taste even in the same genres. for example..i happen to like some (dare i say it?) emo music, but i dont really dig this album. i mean its a nice piece of work. i respect the talent and effort that went into it..and there are some catchy songs. i dig hurricane...and thats why it was a single. and FYI...just listen to the samples...if they dont grab you...dont buy it. i mean...surely if you've been dumped enough to the point where you listen to deat metal you wont like this album at all...thats a no brainer. and by the way...death metal is the PERFECT music to listen to if you want to prevent being dumped again because noone will want to come near you anymore if they hear you listening to it. (but thats just my opinion...im entitled...right?) so...while this review wasnt really about the abum...i hope it helps people to realize that they need to trust their own tastes...and not the taste of others. i know what i like..so i buy it...im not going to tell you to buy anything i like...because you might not. and...for the record..(pun intended)..i know that if i was a musician...i would LOVE to sell as many copies of my album as humanly possible. besides...if im going to spend so much time making music for people to listen to..im gonna need to make money. i would still love doing it...money just helps. so...selling out aintthat bad. or i could just write death metal and have some lonely overly dumped tortured souls at my concert. that would rock. try before you buy....reviews cant help you choose.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing
I sometimes have to moderate how much I listen to this cd because if I don't, I would listen to it all the time. There's nothing like a sweet piano solo in the middle of a punk song!I saw these guys in concert back in 2002 and ever since then I have been a big fan. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Green Day's An Insomniac
INSOMNIAC is part of the record product that has led Green Day to be the band that it is today. Released in 1995, this album showed that Green Day still had a lot to learn in performing to the top of their genre, but the band was good at what they already knew. With a hard grudgy punk sound, the rock band played their hardest on their guitar, bass, and drums. Joel added his own uniquality to the group with his upbeat and entertaining lyrics. His words are what made this punk band stand out from many of the others they were in competetion with. A great apsect of the group is that they are in time with each other. That in itself is an accomplishment in the style this band performs in. INSOMNIAC is a fair rocker album, and one to give some attention to.
4-0 out of 5 stars Consistent, but lacking that standout hit.
Dookie was a great album, and Green Day's fan contingent was expecting their next album to follow a similar path. However, the majority of fans were left dissapointed by Dookie's follow up, 'Insomniac'. It maintains the core of the groups sound, but adds a shade of darkness that is cast over each song.Despite the critisism this album has received, 'Insomniac' is a massively underrated album.
5-0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best
I rated this before and gave it a three star. Now I realize it is worth five stars. Well, I'm also crazed about Green Day now too. I'm ordering it today, or sometime this week, and since I rented it before, I know what to expect. Some kick-butt songs! 86 is one of the best. Brat is also pretty good. And I especially love ALL 5 hit singles. 'Stuck With Me', 'Walking Contridiction', 'Brain Stew', 'Jaded', and 'Geek Stink Breath." My suggestion is to get a new copy. I'm buying it used, but it doesn't matter. It rocks either way! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I can't believe you people
Since when was it good music for a guy who sounds like a girl to blurt out expletives overtop of lame chord progressions? Never! This album seems to be the band's most respected work, though if you ask me they deserve no respect. The brains of all these five star reviewers have apparently been numbed musically, because surely no-one in an upright American society would be fooled into thinking this so-called "Music" is actually good for the ears. Wrong-o! This album, right here, is the worst CD I have ever heard. I promise you that is no spur of the moment exaggeration, it's just so awful. This band needs to lose its popularity NOW. They're just like New Found Glory and Rush; ruined by the singer. But in this case, the music wouldn't have been any good with another singer even; everything that could go wrong has.
5-0 out of 5 stars Epic masterpiece
In the realm of concept albums and stories told through music, Coheed and Cambria are Kings. They have crafted an awesome and original and inspiring storyline that is told through five albums. A pentology is what they call that. Parts two, three and the first part of four have been released. In keeping secrets of silent earth:3 is the third chapter in their great story of the coming appocalypse. And what a chapter this is! Rife with battles, love, loss and a crazy man in love with his sniper rifle!Musically, this album is top notch, providing heavy and soft passages and wonderful transitions between them. Musically, Coheed and Cambria deliver a solid, rockin album that is sure to infect your head for many moons to come. Lyrically, Coheed and Cambria entrance your soul and will have you humming and singing and deciphering the lyrics forever! The singers voice is high pitched and that turns many people off of Coheed and Cambria. But once you get passed that and accept that fact, you realize that the singer is an amazing and beautiful and talented singer.
5-0 out of 5 stars And i woke the sounds of them crying
Okay... I have owned this cd for a minute sense the year it was released... but anyway i purchased this cd only knowing a littleabout co & ca hearing one song off their first cd called "time consumer" and i liked that and also hearing about a show they playedlocaly and that they were good. But i had no idea what i was in for when i bought this cd on a whim after reading an interview with their bassist in one of my bass player mag's. And let me tell ya your not the same after coheed they pull you in and take you over. But at first listen you are not sure sounds pretty good... got a nice epic vibe. By the time you are at the end of what you think is the last track the weird outro thing here they come with what would become to me atleast the very imfomus 2113. and if you know that one song time consumer from second stage and you are familiar with the story you are stunned you dont know what just happend the last 45 mins or hour were a blur and then you feel compelled to put it back in. ITs all over after that my friends. Coheed is a band you cant put in a genre or even try to explain to anyone it inspires you drags you in and you feel awesome. Simply must give it a chance forget about what they say about the vocals or if there emo which they are a farcry from that, you will end up loving the vocals and the amazing beautiful music Coheed and cambria create. The most intreaging music i have ever listened to simply captivating. this album must be purchased ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing
Take Off Your Pants And Jacket has 2 be one of the most amazing blink-182 albums, this cd is very punk rock and very energetic, every single song is great and you will love this album, even if u arent crazy about blink-182 you'll still love this album its great!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not their best, but pretty good
I've listened to Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, Enema, TOYPAJ, Mark Tom and Travis Show, and their self-titled album.I'm still trying to get ahold of Buddha and Flyswatter. This is their second worst album, right next to Enema of the State. However, it is still a darn good album. Now onto the songs:

Editorial Review

This U.K. three-piece's self-titled debut often got compared to Smashing Pumpkins and Rush--Smashing Pumpkins for its unashamed mid-'70s prog-rock allusions and Rush because of singer Brian Molko's unusually high-pitched, almost androgynous voice. In reality, Placebo were far more salacious, downright dirty, and culturally confusing than either. (The band is a mix of American, Swedish, and English, with some Lebanese and Luxembourgian thrown in.) For their second album, Placebo have looked to the late '70s for inspiration, to the sound of early New Order and the Banshees--with a dash of the '90s thrown in: "Brick Shithouse," for example, starts like the most balls-out Prodigy song. If their debut was the sound of a no-holds-barred sexual drug frenzy lasting way into the next day, then Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A forgotten masterpiece?
I was surprised that when this album came out it was given roughly 6 out of 10 in most reviews. On 'Without You I'm Nothing' Molko manages to sustain a mood of decadent melancholy throughout. He is often derided as an androgynous pretender who is acting out rock 'n' roll cliches, but on this album he genuinely came across to me as a man who is irresistably drawn to pushing the boundaries of experience. When an obsessive fan leaves death threats on his answerphone he seems to embrace this darkness by interspersing snippets from the message on the secret track. He doesn't just revel in debauchery he accounts its brutal consequences and their myriad intricacies in evocative detail, and here more than at any other point in his career. Although I've heard the criticism that he seems to wallow in the sound of words and not their content I think this is all part of a holistic transission of experience to the listener. I think this Placebo's masterpiece, a sordid trawl through the underbelly not just of rock 'n' roll but of modern relationships. He perfectly articuates the uncertainty of a decaying relationship, of the bond betwen two people that surpasses experience, of the clammy hold one person can have over another, of the thrilling divide between a decadent relatonship and the consequent loneliness that comes with its fulfillment in a way I've not heard before or since. I've focused upon the lyrical content but the band's performance also manages to teeter between glorious abandon and tasteful restraint in a way that supplies the perfect backdrop. The artwork is haunting, the production is immaculate and the recrod managed to be commercial enough to spawn three hits. Theres more to this band than misunderstood teenagers and misplaced angst. Honest!

5-0 out of 5 stars Without this Album, You're Nothing
I should have written this a long time ago.I saw Placebo in London in 2001 and was immediately hooked. They were so much different than the American bands that I was listening to at the time (Tool, Rage, etc.).The band produced seering pop rock that just flowed through the throng of sweaty people at the show.So after that, I went out and bought the album.Pure Morning may be one of the catchiest songs ever written.Once you hear it, it sticks in your brain for days and is nearly impossible to dislodge. Not to be overshadowed are great tracks like Every Me, Every You and You Don't Care about us.These songs crackle with electricity and are great to listen to anytime, but for me, especially when driving. But the highlight to the album has got to be the title track.Very emotional and strong.I recomend this album to anyone who's gotten stuck in a rut with today's mainstream music.

5-0 out of 5 stars Okay, I'm POSSESSED. It's the only thing I want to listen to.
I am huge Brit Pop whore and have been since I was thirteen. That being said, Placebo really doesn't have much in common with the 90s Brit Pop greats like Pulp, The Stone Roses, Blur or Suede which all have a sort of vague interlocking thread.I'm not even sure why I like "I'm Nothing Without You" so much: it's not my kind of music.I remember when "Pure Morning" was a single, and I didn't think anything of it at the time. All I know now is that I can't wait to get home from work so I can listen to this album. One moment it has me jumping up and down like lunatic, and next I'm pratically weeping. And I LOVE Brian Molko's voice.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised
As someone who is more into R and B and Latin, when my friend bought me this CD i thought it was a joke. I already knew the first single and loved it, but this was overboard. Well I was mistaken-- this CD, it's titles and it's music, is the best CD I've heard in a LONG TIME...

5-0 out of 5 stars Go out and get FUCT
(From Under the Cork Tree) get it? ignore everyone who complains about fall out boy being a punk posuer. fall out boy isnt punk and isnt trying to be. If you dont like snitches and talkers get stitches and walkers (and come on, think about the title for a minuite and then realize how funny it is....) you need to re-listen to the song. It's a good, darker version of fall out boy. realize that pete wentz used to be a hardcore raver with blonde dreadlocks, and used to be in a hardcore metal band called 'Arma Angelus' look it up in itunes and you'll realize why pete does the screaming. Also, can i point out that The Sex Pistols were the orignal people to 'sell out'? They were basically created to be walking adverstisments for a store called 'SEX' They were a legend but were never the 'true punks' they WERE BILLBOARDS. it pisses me off when people compare other bands to the sex pistols like that. The sex pistols were sell-outs from the begining. i think they made quite a bit of money to support their drug habits too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Exquisite.
I love Coheed and Cambria, and though now they've shifted into more of a Prog arrangement, I think that their raw-er sound in this album is excellent.
4-0 out of 5 stars An awesome debut CD... you can tell it was a debut.
TSSTB is a good starting point for the famous emo-core band. The Second Stage Turbine Blade was what launched CC's career. 2-0 out of 5 stars Blah
I don't know about you guys, but I think they ruined the songs in the enhanced version... It sounds like they're trying too hard or something.

1-0 out of 5 stars try again
This is supposed to be the type of music that real music fans listen to? You have got to be kidding me. Dispatch is a good band, but this band has got nothing about them that is good. They really have no originality at all, and most of their songs sound the same. And I am sick of people saying that this is real music, better than the [...] on the radio. It is no better than that, in fact maybe even worse. This is bad music, which nowadays is the alternative to pop music. Try again "true music fans" and show me one of your alternative rock bands that doesn't suck.

5-0 out of 5 stars so good
First, i must say that i am not one who often gives out 5 stars for a cd. The best thing that i can say about state radio is that they deliver an infectious vibe that will leave songs stuck in your head for days and days. Think of this music as the political activism of Rage Against the Machine, the reggae of Bob marley, and the cool music of dispatch. The blending of music yeilds many pleasing songs that are accessable by lovers of all genres.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing CD, especially for the summer

5-0 out of 5 stars It does not have to mention Jesus
The message I am responding to asked "where's Jesus?" In the album. I have been a Christian from a child and always wanted music that spoke of everyday issues for teens and in general people. For people like me we have the word in us and live by it but we want practicality.I have always listended to the Kirk Franklin Jars of Clay the Steven Curtis Chapman the Choirs etc but always wanted to hear what music made by a christian would sound like and this album was it for me.It was what I had been looking for for years. So if the album does not speak to you fine but dont knock the album because it is not music showcasing christianlity.

5-0 out of 5 stars Courage
As a person that struggles with Eating Disorders, "Courage" has really touched me. I love it so much. The album gets 5 stars for that song alone.

5-0 out of 5 stars 23-year-old married dude likes this album
The worst thing you can say about Superchick is that the lyrics are a bit juvenile compared to other Christian bands like Jars of Clay, Third Day, Christopher Williams, Mercy Me, etc. This is definitely a teeny-bopper band. Also, where's the Jesus? A Christian album without the Jesus is like a Big Mac without the beef.

If you can imagine Avril Lavigne fronting Mötley Crüe, you have a sense of where Damone is heading--and for listeners who favor melodic, high-revving power-pop, this is a fun, rocking journey worth taking. 5-0 out of 5 stars Wow
This has to be my newest favorite band! What a great cd!I good hard rocking band with a great chick lead singer!

4-0 out of 5 stars I had happiness and now I'm just about to watch it burn
First off, Damone is nothing original. Noel, such as the description says, sounds as close as you can to Avril Lavigne, and the band sounds like every other 80s metal band. If that sounds the least bit intriguing, then Damone just might be the one band this summer to tickle your fancy.
