5-0 out of 5 stars Great Album Set by The CruxShadows
Mystery of the Whisper was one of the first Cruxshadows albums I heard (right after Telemetry of a Fallen Angel) and made me a devout Cruxshadows listener. My favorite song on this album is a slow song named "Monument", followed by the popular "Cruelty".Then there are also other personal favorites including "Regrets", "Heaven's Gaze" and "Insomnia"- and those are just from the first CD!

5-0 out of 5 stars 100 stars If I could..The cures finest moment

5-0 out of 5 stars Spiralling... Spiralling... Spiralling
This album is quite possibly the darkest album I've heard in a long time. Robert was spinning into drug-induced depression at the time, and the results were Pornography. Every song from 100 Years to the title track are pumped full of deep, black, depression. Even the first line of the cd, 'It doesn't matter if we all die', lets the listener know what he/she is in for. The guitar puts the icing on the cake. It laces all of the music with dysfunctional, screaching, spirals that one might hear on the path to insanity. The cold drum machine gives the darkness it's heartbeat, and Robert gives the music the 'losing hope' vocals. When Robert sings, you ALWAYS hear every bit of emotion that he intended to be put in the song. Buy this album along with Disintigration. You won't be disappointed. Also, check out Faith and Seventeen Seconds for more Cure darkness.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sounds much better
"Pornography" may be the definitive Cure album. The group has had some serious missteps, several lineup changes, all the highs and lows that go with a thirty year history, but this one is on the mark from begining to end. Many fans cite the 1989 masterpiece "Disintergration" as the groups finest hour, and I'll stay out of the debate (personally, I am partial to "Faith", despite its obvious shortcomings)--but if there is such a thing as a Cure aesthetic, it finds some of its best exprression here. The sound is stipped down, ominous interlocking drums and bass. The lyrics are mostly superb. From the opening of the disc, "It doesn't matter if we all die" (can there be a better summation to the group's gestalt?), to the self-referential final lines of the work, there is real passion here. It flirts with solipsism--a characteristic that mars much of their other work--but never quite crosses over. Whether you're 14 and "screaming at the moon", or 40 and covering your face as the animals die, there is poetry enough here. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Pass auf!
Another good but different cd from Rob Zombie. This album includes great guitar riffage, an orcastra and some poppy elements that some older fans might not enjoy. The album is pretty short though with a filler track that's just a bunch of nonsense that I always skip. I guess it'd better to have a short cd with a lot of good songs than a cd with some good songs and a lot of bad songs. I really enjoyed all of the songs and most of them stand out except "bring her down" and "scum of the earth."So go do yourself a favor and buy this disk.

5-0 out of 5 stars COOL ALBUM DON'T MISS THE HIDDEN TRACK!
ROBS SECOND ALBUM BOASTS SOME HIGH ENERGY TUNES
5-0 out of 5 stars Sin, sin, sin..!
Knowing that "The Sinister Urge" takes it's name from a 1961 Ed Wood film about a wide-eyed, sex-crazed maniac who murders young women in a city park, which police suspect is a part of the smut picture racket... and, somehow, the mob is involved. With that said, it's safe to say that Rob Zombie aligns himself with the off-beat -- but his music is superbly on-beat. His second foray into the solo musician world, he embarks upon a mixture of '70s gutter trash glam grooves meets roaring, aggressive (unlikely) pop/disco melodies with full symphonic instruments, stereo soundwork and sampled sound clips. The same genre-bluring he's infamous for with is other efforts.

5-0 out of 5 stars I've been searching for this CD for a long time and couldn't find it
This CD is awesome, by far Stabbing Westward's best CD.I'm very happy to have it back in my collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you own ANY stabbing westward CD, make it DARKEST DAYS!
This album is damn near perfect, and as I type that I might as well take out the 'damn near' part and leave it as just plain perfect, because quite frankly, it is!From start to finish this album is what you want to hear. From the creepy into in the effect of "DARKEST DAYS" to the moving and ultimatly depressing "WAKING UP BESIDE YOU", a beautiful song about loss and dispair, you are drawn inside this album of the darkest nature, an album that explores subjects like death and adiction with such care and presision that you can't help but appreciate the talent behind every riff, behind every lyric and behind every single track.Standouts are the singles "SAVE YOURSELF" and "HAUNTING ME" as well as the steller "SOMETIMES IT HURTS", a song so truthful (as far as conveying the feelings after loseing a loved one in death) that I was actually braught to tears after hear it."EVERYTHING I TOUCH" was actually the first song I ever heard by this band, and I was immediatly convinced that this was a CD to own."THE THING I HATE" is one of the most in your face angry songs ever and it delivers the adrenaline rush that metal lovers need while listening to this album which overall gives you more of a downer feeling (it's mood music people) so it's nice to have a MOSH-PIT perfect song."HOW CAN I HOLD ON" and "WHEN I'M DEAD" are standouts and worth a listen, but then again, so is this ENTIRE ALBUM SO BUY IT NOW!

5-0 out of 5 stars best thing i ever have in my life

5-0 out of 5 stars B-FIVE TWO BABY ,WAY UP IN THE SKY.
Personally, I think it's great they did'nt make "Love" part two, cause this album just kicks you in the face man! Don't get upset,"Lovies", here me out. I listened to nothing else but this album for a year, and even today it blows the doors off all this bubble gum punk/numetal/top40/MTV crap. "ELECTRIC" is an unadulterated rock album, comparison to anything else does'nt do it justice. Ian has the most powerful lungs you'll ever hear, and Duffy's guitar just punches through the walls. The band is just solid and the songs have alot of raw snap. This record does'nt need all the theatrics, the music is the epitome of energy(too much enthusiasm?(don't care!)). I'm not going to break down any songs or tracks cause they all stand up on thier own. After this album kicks you in the face, don't look up.

2-0 out of 5 stars What Happened to the Glory of "Love"?
I remember buying "Love" when it first came out and I fell in love with the Cult. There was this raw and wild edge to their music. But "Electric" was just not up to the same standard. It sounded like "AC/DC Meets Marc Bolan" (and I am a T.Rex fan!)

3-0 out of 5 stars A new sound (and a horribly inconsistent one).
A clear indication of the influence a producer can have on a band, "Electric" was a massive stylistic shift for the Cult under the influence of Rick Rubin, who steered the band away from their gothic and psychedelic influences and towards a more straightahead L.A. hard rock sound-- guitarist Billy Duffy's semi-hollow guitars, laden in effects, so crucial to the sound of the band, were traded in for a Les Paul and a pile of distortion and Ian Astbury's most indulgent swagger and attitude in his vocals were encouraged and suddenly, there was a very different band going under the name The Cult. The band had previously recorded an album (to be titled "Peace") and brought an early version of "Love Removal Machine" to Rubin for remixing. The producer didn't find anything to do with the piece, but saw the same potential the band saw in it and suggested a rerecording-- "Electric" being the product of that suggestion.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised
I'm a big fan of Nine Inch Nails, yet I was hesitant at buying this EP. I'm not usually into 10-minute-long remixes, now matter how good the original song - they just drag on too long and are too repetitive. Despite this knowledge, I decided to buy this EP in order to bring my self a little closer to completing my NIN catalogue. However, upon first listen I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the tracks are somewhat long and drawn out (a mere 6 songs adds up to 40 minutes in total!) but I found myself enjoying them because they have that distinctive feel of darkness, gloom, depression and hatred that Trent Reznor channels through his music in his own special way, even if there are minimal vocals at times. It has style, and I feel that any true Nine Inch Nails fan should appreciate it or at least give it a go. I did...and I'm sure glad I did.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Stray From The Norm
This particular Nine Inch Nails Single strays from the normal format of club/dance sort of style and ventures into a totally new demension of Nine Inch Nails. This, I am talking about, is a mixture of Dark Ambient/Noise, Gabber, Industrial Dance Music (IDM) and Industrial. For the regular listeners of Nine Inch Nails this will be an eye opener and shocker. And to the here and there listener this will not be a good single for them. I say this only 'cause in some of tracks it will go from a simple Dark Ambient/Noise track and roll right into IDM. This is not a bad thing for those that listen to this sort of abstract type of tracks. But beware those that are new to Nine Inch Nails. Even avet listeners find this one hard to swallow. So if you are going to venture into this single, I would recemmend going into it with an open mind and open ears.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is my favorite NIN remix CD
Honestly, it is. Maybe it isn't the best, but it is my favorite. Track one is remixed by Coil and it is one of the best NIN remixes you will ever hear. Definitely one of the more creative. Track four might as well be an original song if it is a remix, and any time you get the chance at new NIN material, I suggest you take it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars completely blown away
I'm the kind of person who's open to all kinds of music... except for techno.I generally hate techno. But that's not the point. The point is, I had kinda heard of The Cruxshadows before attending STP at VMI, when one of my best friends let me listen to a mix CD he had of a bunch of Cruxshadows songs.I was immediately addicted to this work of art in music form. Many of you know that Linkin Park is my favorite band; The Cruxshadows has worked their way up to pass Godsmack as my second-favorite band now, due alot to my favorite song from them and my fav from this CD, Winterborn (This Sacrifice). If you listen closely to the lyrics, you can actually tell he's talking about Jesus ("In the fury of this darkest hour, he will be your light... I hear the angels call my name, for I am winterborn...")... all about being "winter-born".Rogue is an excellent vocalist and does some weird stuff on stage (i.e. climb up stuff; he also does some quirky dance moves for their music video "Deception").
5-0 out of 5 stars Love Hate
ALright I have had a love hate thing for the band..let me give you some history 2001 or 2002 I saw the cruxshadows with seraphim shock and bella morte (two other great bands) When Cruxshadows came out I was unsure, of them. I was younger so maybe I wasn't into this style yet who knows? Anyways so rouge comes out and the song was Eurydice, and I was thinking what the hellis this a goth boy band? So later on rogue (the singer) puts his hand on my shoulder and pats me...next thing I know hes clmbing on top of me to get to the speaker on my left!! Thus later i found out about his obession with climbing on stuff while on stage. (makes it cool as hell to watch them live>) So i walked away from this show unhappy with what I thought the cruxshadows was. HOwever a few years later I got heavey into darkwave music so i thought who else is darkwave and I remembered good old rogue climbing on me. And Went to the site and listened to the music on it and heard the lyrics and I was blown away by the emoetion in the lyrics. So my point is don't judge this band by stage performance or whatever label we givce it as music fans. What we have to understand that this is art not just music but art! The lyrics will pull at you and get stuck in your mind for days. And best of all make you think about what it is they are saying. Which to me is beaitufal! SO my overall veiw of the cruxshadows??? ONE OF THE BEST BANDS I HAVE EVER HEARD. GREAT LYRICS WONDERFUL VOICE ROGUE HAS IT IS SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars "Angels Never Die"-A View From A Non-Goth
I know very little about Goth music, my listening experience of the genre has been limited to 'Dead Can Dance' and 'This Mortal Coil.' However I do know what I like and 'Ethernaut' turned out to be a complete surprise! This is good stuff!!

5-0 out of 5 stars "Some things just carry on like you..."
Shirley Manson's first band Angelfish is a great, fun disc. But thank god Shirley moved on to front my favorite band in the galaxy, Garbage. Angelfish is not a horrible band, just not as good as Garbage. Shirley's voice is sexy, haunting, and earth-shattering on this record. Standout tracks include: Suffocate Me, Sleep with Me, The Sun Won't Shine, You Can Love Her, Tomorrow Forever, and The End. The rest of the tracks are great as well of course there is always at least one dud on an album and that song is King of the World. It's a good thing this album is cool because I did not know what to expect, I just knew Shirley was the lead singer of this band (I love her voice so much!) The lyrics are surprisely good even though Shirley admitted she didn't write one song on this album, anyways I highly recommend checking this pre-Garbage disc out, you can't go wrong with that voice, rock on Shirley!

4-0 out of 5 stars Get this CD
Little did I know that Shirley's first band was so good! I just heard this CD, and can't stop playing it.I looked up on the web for angelfish, after a friend introduced me to the cd, and discovered that this old band has a new band called the filthy tongues. Their stuff is just as dark and dirty as this CD.Buy this and check out their new stuff!

2-0 out of 5 stars Eh...
I'll admit that I was happy to discover this cd on Amazon and eager to give it a listen since I'm a Garbage/Shirley Manson fan.I also was prepared *not* to compare the overall sound of the group to Garbage, and accept it for what it was. That being said, I was surprised at how painfully mediocre this band was. It's only saving grace was Ms. Manson. There is just nothing memorable about the music while the lyrics have zero substance. Most songs sound like they are fumbling towards the end, as if the song itself just wants to be over.My two star rating is given only because it is interesting to hear Shirley's voice at this stage in her career, since this is truly a "one listen only" cd. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Very Good and Original
I had this cd given by a friend, i said id keep an open mind and gave it a listen, im glad i did. Its not often you find a diamond of an album. if your open minded about anything buy this. The singers voice is very good, as a "rock" album its good till you peel away and find an almost new and original sound.
3-0 out of 5 stars Mixed Feelings
It is clear that Jon Crosby is quite brilliant, but with all three of Vast's albums, I feel the same way- one or two amazing songs, a couple of ok songs, then a bunch that fall short of their potential for some bizarre reason or another. I feel like so many songs are almost there, but get screwed up in some way.
5-0 out of 5 stars Something to be cherished! (review of all three in one)
I too am like many of the other reviewers who have been fortunate enough to have accidentally stumbled upon John Crosby and his project, VAST.My opinion is a bit different than others here, but the end result is the same.

1-0 out of 5 stars i've tried them, but this is just misserable music.
Ive listened to tracks from various albums and don't see why people like them. I mean, the vocalist always sounds like he's singing with a cold and I can't see anything spectacular with the instruments.
1-0 out of 5 stars Gothic Love Garbage
I reaaallly hate H.I.M. I don't mind if other people listen to them, but I will warn buyers now: the songs are just songs about girls that have to do with death. I guess the band has a lot of dead girlfriends. I don't know. And the music? White noise. I HATED this album, and I hate all other H.I.M. albums. This album should be retitled "Gothic Love Garbage".

when the cure's oeuvre IS finally done and this disc is reassessed, "bloodflowers" will be up there with the cream of the cure's crop--full stop, jock.this rock and lilting lullaby collection will give the unfaithful and faithful alike an aural erection."maybe sunday" and "there is no if" and "the loudest sound" are among the most gorgeously melodic things this supermelodic combo has EVER done...this is one HELL of a SUBTLE record that only rewards after MANY listens--the best kinda LP, if you ask me!spend time with it; take it out to eat--then home to bed.sidenote:i really like that Beth Massa review--quite poetic!nice!

3-0 out of 5 stars Bleak soundscapes.
The third in a trilogy of moody and atmospheric albums started with "Pornography" and "Disintegration", "Bloodflowers" is an album that many heralded as a return to form for the Cure-- a return to extended atmospheres and darker mood pieces, but this time, it's filtered through the experimentation of "Wild Mood Swings"."Bloodflowers" ends up being dominated by acoustic guitars doubled with dirty electrics along with the trademark ringing bass and tribal rhythms mixed with hints of electronica to go along with the usual synth swirls.
3-0 out of 5 stars i did have high hopes for this.........
i really wanted to be blown away by this as the pre-release buzz was that this was a return to the disintegration-era sound of the cure.granted, there are some excellent songs here--'watching me fall,' where the birds always sing,' '39' and especially 'bloodflowers' are some of my favorite songs by the cure.i have to say though that the other five songs on the album are quite boring--too sparse of a sound, too slow, and no real fire.luckily RS DID come back strong with 'the cure' a few years later and hopefully that winning streak will continue! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars to D. Girod "graboidz" review
for that guy to somehow play off that industrial has some sort of formula thats more tired than any other form of music is frustratingly ignorant. the guy obviously just doesnt like industrial and is about as qualified to review an industrial album as my grandfather is to review an outkast album. industrial didnt die off because the formula grew tired, its in my opinion that industrial has much more room to evolve than heavy metal or punk or goth. it died off because there are only a handful of bands that knew what it took to make a good industrial album and 50,000 lame bands that had no idea how to handle the technical side of industrial the way that trent reznor, cevin key, and raymond watts do. but i still give this band and album 3 stars because the band is just decent. and not from lack of effort i feel there is at least some honesty there but the lyrics are a bit whiny and very cliched. thats definately my biggest complaint about it. theres definately some good high points and good writing there. but its definately short of being a life changing album. but its trapped in one mood and doesnt really go anywhere.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not as good as Ungod and Darkest Days
This is pretty solid effort from beginning to end (except for Slipping Away), but except for Shame (which is probably THE best song on the album), Falls Apart and So Wrong the album lacks a lot of the lyrical quality and intensity that Ungod and DD contain. While "What DO I have To do" may have been an MTV buzz clip, I've always thought that the song was somewhat overrated.IS it a good song, yes, but anyone saying that that song is Stabbing Westward's crowning achievement is selling the band short.
5-0 out of 5 stars Industrial metals finest
I was impressed by the coalation of vibrant, aggressive, intence sound of this album, as well as the previous ones.

After the two nihilistic epics The Downward Spiral (1995) and its belated follow-up The Fragile (1999), Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails are settling into a loud, predictable rut. The same thrashy, complex-yet-melodic industrial rock that sounded so groundbreaking on Read more

2 Stars for the casual NIN fan.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good, not great, good
This is a good solid CD. Some good songs remixed and some new ones. If you are a hardcore NIN fan you will like this CD, if not I don't know what to say. My favorite track is the last Starf**kers remix, track 10. Nice and original sound that makes it seem like an entirely new song. One thing about this CD is that it grows on you, you might skip some songs when you first play it but after a while you start to like some songs and listen to the CD from begining to end.

5-0 out of 5 stars Some Of The Best Remixes Ever
Keith Hillebrandts remix of The Wretched is worth the amount of money you'll spend on this album ALONE!!!It's by far the greatest remix of a song i've ever heard. For the first minute or so it's slow but awesome, and then it just breaks out and gets instensly awesome. It's hard to explain, but you should buy it if your a fan of Trent's or Keith's or remixes in general...or all three. The rest of the remix album is awesome also, along with the unreleased tracks, or whatever they might be considered. ... As good as Orgy's 1998 debut Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not a real Orgy CD
This album was a huge disappointment. Orgy moves in more of a guitar-centric metal direction, away from their original synth rock style. While focusing on the harder style of this record, they seem to lose touch with their melodic, electronic rock roots found on Candyass (and Punk Statik Paranoia, afterward). The album as a whole just falls flat and sound like the numerous other "nu metal" stuff that's out there. Sure, there's a few good ones on here like "Fiction (Dreams in Digital)", "Eyes, Radio, Lies"; "Suckerface" and "Eva". But, overall I was very disappointed at the direction they started heading in with this record. Luckily for the few of us who feel this way, Punk Statik Paranoia heads back towards the same "death pop" feel that made us fall in love with them on their first CD.

5-0 out of 5 stars Orgy!...
A great follow up to their CandyAss debut! The band has an original sound that's totally kickass! I dig bands with a sound that's all their own!...

3-0 out of 5 stars "She dreams..." of a better CD?
Kicking things off with an intro that could be in any sci-fi film, Orgy get ready to unleash 'Vaper Transmission', their sophmore effort."SUCKERFACE" does it's job, getting you hooked and ready for more.Jay Gordon has this very unique voice and it just fits this band perfectly."THE ODYSSEY" gets heavier, yet less convincing. Not a fan of song. The verse is crap and the chorus is even worse!"OPTICON" is one of the best Orgy songs ever, and the remixes (yes they made remixes for this CD as well and you need to buy those to FULLY appreciate this CD) are even better... "and the lies, lies!""FICTION" was the first single off the album and it shows where Orgy was when writting this album. It's much more melodic then anything off 'Candy@$$', and while thats not a bad thing, it's not what you'd expect from Orgy. The best part of the song is when Jay says "guilty by design she's nothing more than fiction" because it's the only part of the song with an edge."EVA" sounds like it could come off any rock album, nothing techno-glam-rock about it.It's just not Orgy."107" sounds like somthing off 'Candy@$$' and I like it alot.A very Manson sound to it, creepy and infectous.I'd skip through the next tracks until you hit "RE-CREATION" which is one kick@$$ song, even though it's really not 'Orgy' sounding, but the lyrics are tight and the whole song, from beat to vocals, are spot on."CHASING SIRENS" is another great songs. Not a huge fan of the chorus, a little too forced, but the beat and the verses are great...not to mention the bridge... "don't you find it strange, strange?"The last track here "WHERE'S GERALD" is a great way to close becasue it's close to the best song here. The only problem here is that they may open and close with the best, but everything in between is unfullfilling. The thing with Orgy is that, while they may never be able to turn out a PERFECT album, at least with Candy@$$ the songs that where good were SOOOOO good that the filer tracks were forgivable. Not the case here.I mean, "WHERE'S GERALD", "OPTICON" and "107" are awsome, and "RE-CREATION" and "SUCKERFACE" are good, but everything else is so mediocre that it takes away from the album as a whole.I wish I could give this album more than 3 stars, but I can't, because to me, it's really not worth it. ... Editorial Review

This is a brilliant hybrid of electronic music and conventional guitar-heavy rock. The first three tracks in particular pound out the overall method: furious, punk-metal guitars over slamming, machinelike rhythms. This release exemplifies Al Jourgensen's and Paul Barker's skill at producing remarkably creative musical aggression. "You Know What You Are" and the album's title track are fist-in-the-air electro-anthems upon first listen. But upon closer scrutiny, the songs reveal themselves to be works of complex sonic architecture, with components drawn from a wide variety of sources. The same is also true with "Flashback," a techno-punk foray into loosely controlled fury. Read more

There are just too many close minded morons on this site, who can never try something different.
5-0 out of 5 stars Unadulterated rage
30 seconds of a curious ticking noise, followed by a shriek so extremely distorted and chaotic as to destroy speakers at high volume.Such is the beginning of Ministry's "Land of Rape and Honey".It's funny imagining what fans of the synth pop and subdued electro records "With Sympathy and "Twitch" faces looked like when they pushed play for the first time.Whatever the reason, this album marks the abrupt transition into the Ministry we know and love today.
5-0 out of 5 stars The album's an experience.
And one that was ground-breaking as well. It must've been shocking for the people who actually did follow all of Ministry's stuff in the '80s. The classic synth-pop singles "Cold Life" and "Everyday is Halloween", the more dated stuff of "With Sympathy", and then with "Twitch," Ministry became a Front 242-type industrial group, with a lot of techno elements and movie sampling. Then there's "The Land of Rape and Honey" which is nothing like anything done before from Ministry. I've got the domestic cassette version that doesn't include "Hizzbollah" or "I Prefer", but it still shines in that version. "Stigmata" is one of the greatest songs ever made, Ministry's shining moment. The main riff is kinda like a buzzsaw, the drums rule, and Al's distinctive vocals give it a totally unique feel. I kept on repeating this track when I got the album.

2-0 out of 5 stars The Real Epitaph
It somehow just makes sense that thirty years later you'd see a cd version of the same type of lame "new wave" cash-in albums that cropped up like mushrooms in '77-'78.The predictable and the loss leaders are all here, in a way that really makes me oddly nostalgic

3-0 out of 5 stars Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Boxset
Everyone can gripe about what they left out but I am more concerned about what was included. You get the obvious (Blitzkrieg Bop, Search and Destroy, White Riot, Blank Generation), a few real gems (Patti Smith's deconstruction of Hey Joe)and some real duds (The Strangler's "Peaches", Ian Dury "Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll") to stuff that isn't even punk (Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello). Though its cool not to always pick obvious songs by an artist it seems that perhaps some of the choices were because they couldn't get the rights to better known songs. I mean whoever heard of The Soft Boys "I Want to Be an Anglepoise Lamp". I would have picked "I Want to Destroy You".Or Ultravox "Saturday Night in the City of the Dead". It was from the first album before they even developed their sound. So yes this is a history of punk but with pub rock and deservedly lesser known pop punk bands. Whoever thought that punk would some day be watered down into parent-friendly pop punk/emo that would crowd out the bands with real talent. So if you know about punk then the boxset may not really give you any more ideas but if you can't wait to catch the Warped Tour every year then "No Thanks" might save you from a life of desperation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nearly perfect, I love it
It could have had some more artists on it. Many of the ones that are already there have 2-3 songs. But that's hardly anything to complain about, this is a great set! The book it comes with is also very informative, and has great photos of just about every band here. It even gives a brief explanation of why the Pistols aren't here, but you'd probably be better off just purchasing "Never Mind the Bollocks" if you care that much. Personally, I don't care that they're not included.
