4-0 out of 5 stars Circle Jerks go mainstream?!
The Circle Jerks return to the public eye during the mid-90's with a mainstream album release.I don't know how Keith Morris and Greg Hetson managed to get a record deal with a big music company (but they did). The end results? A nice tight punk-pop album filled with three minute songs and a lot of noise and attitude.
4-0 out of 5 stars Circle Jerks - Oddities, Abnormalities, & Curiosities
I know what your thinking, a Circle Jerks album from 1995, it must suck. This was the first Circle Jerks album i got. However i didn't give it a fair listen until after i got Group Sex.(their first one)I missed out and you gotta get this now so you dont. First, you dont need to be familar with the jerks to like this; just a rock fan. so you can start your collection with this one. This one is a bit more commerical than their others, but it has some of their best songs ever written. opening with the wobbly guitar of "teenage electric" you know this album is gonna kick [...]. it must have broke the hearts of the band that the album was not a hit because the single "i wanna destroy you" is really catchy and "shinning through the door is probably the best circle jerks song ever written. "sinking ship" would have fit well on golden shower of hits (their third)and "brick" returns to the suject matter of the earlier stuff with a bit of a lighter sound. the solo on "fable" is one of the best in punk history. keith sounds good on this record and their are no filters like on "wild in the streets."The band is tight, Greg Hetson (also of Bad Religion) plays tasteful and melodic so does Zander Schloss. very accessible and only one bad song "22" and even that you wont skip.

4-0 out of 5 stars Circle Jerks Finale Album deserves a listen
While not bieng thier best album, Oddities is still a pretty solid listen.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm seeing bad reviews and not understanding...
This album is very different from the albums that preceded it. "The New America" is one of the first "poppy" and less punkish Bad Religion albums but the fact of the matter is that this album still contains amazing song structure, great lyrics and the catchiest hooks that Bad Religion has ever written.
4-0 out of 5 stars i agree. this album and recipe for hate are their worst, but...
they are NOT horrible albums.i can understand why the suffer and no control fans hated this, but it really isnt that bad.world without melody is a sweet song and so is streetkid named desire. this and no substance can be bought last by BR fans, but it doesn't really matter. i was quite surprised when i listened to this. it's just too catchy to ridicule.
2-0 out of 5 stars At Least This Would End The Slump
Probably being Bad Religion's most controversial release of their career, "The New America" is the album that almost put the nail in the group's coffin. Honestly I've listened to this album hundreds of times. I've tried to give it every possible chance I could to somehow see the genius in it, just like I've done for "The Grey Race" and "No Substance". But no matter how many times I listen to this album, I still arrive at the same conclusion; This is by far Bad Religion's worst release. Now before going off and getting upset, there's plenty of legitimate and justifiable reasons as to why this album is bad. For a band of this standard (probably one of the greatest, if not the greatest, punk bands of modern music) this album is just not up to par. Although I give them plenty of credit for releasing this (hey it had been 19 years since they had put out their first album "How Could Hell Be Any Worse?"), there's no way I can honestly say that this sounds like it should have come from an amazing band like Bad Religion.

4-0 out of 5 stars We need change, and we need it fast.
This album is often overlooked by Ramones fans, but it does have some significant things about it.It's the first album without Dee Dee.It's the first album with C.J.It's the first live album released in the US.It's the last album released by Sire Records.Other than that, how is the album?Pretty good, actually. It is a typical solid Ramones concert of the era.The songs are played faster than the studio versions, as usual.C.J. does an admirable job of taking Dee Dee's place, even singing "Wart Hog" about as well as Dee Dee did.The set list doesn't really have any surprises, other than one big surprise. The BIG SURPRISE is the hidden bonus track, which is "Carbona Not Glue".It appears between "Pet Sematary" and "Judy is a Punk".Ramones fans should enjoy this CD.

5-0 out of 5 stars clinched fisted punk...
"punk" is one of those things that is everything and nothing. it has no standard for what it has to be. it's all about giving a finger to rules johnny cast style. and if you need a definition then you probably will never understand it. however, if you need a little help, this albulm is a perfect example of what punk should be. here's a band out of their prime, missing members, years too old for this type stuff, giving it everything. just tearing it up. the sound is fast, fuzzy, and furious. joeys vocals are amazing. you really get to hear his range on this album, sometimes switching mid word from bopper to growl. and his voice gets better as the set goes on, just incredible. songs like "animal boy" and "today you love, tomorrow the world"are great examples. this is an albulm everyone needs in their collction.

5-0 out of 5 stars The song RAMONES the same...
As a joke, when people would squish up their faces and ask me"what do the Ramones sound like,"I would answer"well, they're kinda like the satanic Beach Boys."Yes a joke, but it got the point across to everyone that they're really not like anyone, but it seems that everyone wants to sound like THEM.How craphole bands like Blink 182 and Good Charlotte can sell millions of albums and live in mansionsand the Ramones ate dogfood is just further testament to the vast ignorance of the record buying public and the futility of believing in a just and loving god. From the beginning of their career to the end of it,The Ramones were the seminal punk rock group. If you haven't heard The Ramones, you have never, repeat, never heard true punk rock. This is about as close as any newbie will ever be to seeing them live, and that's a shame. The songs are fast, the audience is loud, and the setlist is phenomenal. There's no other band in the world that could plow through that many songs in 65 minutes without an encore. To be honest,The Ramones never once needed an encore to please their fans. This is in my opinion the greatest and truest live album ever recorded,a real treat for the fans, and one of the rare occasions it wasn't just a marketing ploy to further gouge the public at large for a greater profit margin. This is honesty people.Raw and angry sounding, this was the locomotive coming at you full force for the absolute love of their fans.A true gem of an album,Loco Live oughta please even the most jaded and arrogant among you. ... Editorial Review

Born Jerome Felder in Brooklyn in 1925, Doc Pomus was stricken with polio at age nine and spent most of his life on crutches or in a wheelchair. That didn't stop him from imitating his hero Big Joe Turner in Manhattan clubs with musicians like Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, King Curtis, and Buddy Tate. He soon found he had a gift for writing witty lyrics to standard blues changes, and in 1955, a 17-year-old kid named Mort Shuman started hanging around Pomus's apartment as a sort of apprentice songwriter. Shuman wrote catchy pop/R&B tunes for Pomus's lyrics, and by '59 they had hits with Dion's "Teenager in Love" and the Mystics' "Hushabye." Before they broke up in '65, they had written 20 songs for Elvis Presley and at least half that many for the Drifters. After a 10-year retirement, Pomus started writing again with Mac Rebennack for albums by B.B. King, Jimmy Witherspoon, and Johnny Adams. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great artists pay tribute to a great songwriter
Having owned and listened to this over 10 years I can say with absolute confidence this ranks as the best tribute CD I own by a stretch. The diversity of the music on this CD is a wonderful tribute to a terrific songwriter. (PS : The headline review couldn't be more wrong about Shawn Colvin's version of Viva Las Vegas - it's a stunner).

4-0 out of 5 stars The best songwriter you never heard of
I was referred this cd by a friend who described it just that way- the best songwriter you never heard of- the liner notes are worth the price of the cd. You can tell by the artists who performed Doc's songs how much he was respected. Shawn Colvins "viva las vegas" knocked me out.

4-0 out of 5 stars Viva Doc
Shawn Colvin brings meanings and nuances out of Viva Las Vegas maybe not intend by the Doc, but this is a great version. Got a good song? Need a good singer? Call Aaron Neville. What a voice, this ranks with his work on In The Still Of The Night from the Red Hot And Blue benefit album of a few years back.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars TOUGHER THAN EVER!!!!!
Perhaps the fact that the newest member of THE RAMONES at the time, RICHIE RAMONE was a crazy, uppaced drummer, or perhaps it was the fact that DEE DEE RAMONE had a slew of inspired compositions to put out, but 1984's TOO TOUGH TO DIE is nothing short of a punk rock/hard rock masterpiece.
5-0 out of 5 stars Their last Great, Great Album
After a string of disappointing albums (End of the Century, Pleasant Dreams and Subterranean Jungle)THE RAMONES decided it was time to come back with a vengeance. The rising hardcore movement and the relative success of thrash giants like METALLICA and ANTHRAX made the scene more bearable for RAMONES unique and revolutionary brand of punk rock. The production is top notch; full, with loud guitars and even louder drums and the song themselves, while mostly up tempo, remained with that classic knack for melody. With this album, THE RAMONES wanted to show us that they were very much aware of all the trends and bands they have helped spawned, most noticeably the hardcore bands, many of them who were beginning to dismiss them as aging punks. Proof are tracks like "Danger Zone", "Too Tough To Die", the insane "Wart Hog" and the decidedly hardcore punk rant of "Endless Vacation". More melodious numbers were also unbeatable masterpieces, like "Chasing The Night", "Howling At The Moon" and "Daytime Dilema". Any of these more melodic songs could've been a HUGE hit and why this never happened will remain one of hard rocks saddest mysteries.

5-0 out of 5 stars The New Wave Ben E. King
I always struggle to describe the wonderful music of Mink DeVille. He showed up in the NY & NJ clubs at the same time as the new wave (Talking Heads, Television) bands crested. But he was a completely modern rocker with a Latin twist with strong influences from Ben E. King.Passionate, romantic, rocking, wistful -- Willy's keen songwriting and distinctive vocals combined with the best rhythm section I saw saw at a live performance to make a compelling musical product. This double set combines two fine LPs into one essential bargain.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stink Deville
Dissappointing...simply stunning.I consider myself to be an avrid music listener/buyer/critic, and I am incensed.I bought this stinky album because of the high reviews it recieved on this very netsite.I thoughtcould trust it, but I guesswas trajicklly mistaken. Thanks a lot bums.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the great American rock bands
Mink Deville were, quite simply, one of the great bands. There's no other way to put it. True, they never got too far on the road to popularity. Maybe, in the post-modern era, nakedly romantic love songs aren't cool any more. But, man--these guys had some incredible songs. "Harlem Nocturne" is a fun bonus, but the albums really stand on their own. Willy's read of "You Better Move On," with his endearing sincerity, is a highlight of the album.

5-0 out of 5 stars Blink 182 Ha Ha Ha
I'd rather listen to Britney Spears than that garbage.Blink 182 is the milleniums answer to the Monkeys. In fact I think the monkeys would blow 182 off the stage.I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Thanks kid, I needed that!Priceless.
4-0 out of 5 stars The Ramones are Punk
To the kid who likes B182 and buys his CDs at walmart. Your review speaks for itself. You ain't a punk if you like all those light weight bands and if you buy your CDs at walmart. The Ramones along with the Pistols invented punk nearly 30 years ago. When they first came out they were revolting against the radio, not trying to fit nicely between Britney Spears and Sting like B182 and the rest of those phaux-punks

5-0 out of 5 stars All the fun and more
The first two Ramones albums plus b sides on one CD is as fine as it gets for the happy comic book lyrics and head bobbing sounds of the late 70's. This is definelty a "play loud" selection. What makes them so great, and they were a great band, is that with a few nifty chords and a simple hard driving drum and bass line they were able to make any blue day brighter. Cheerful punk? "Hey little girl, I wanna be your boyfriend." Yes. As American as it gets with songs about sniffing glue, being an unruly kid, chasing girls, riding in cars, sniffing more glue and then dancing through the night. The Ramones had no pretentions to being anything other than a great rock and roll band and "All The Stuff Vol. 1" is the first chapter in music the way that the music of rock and roll began. Punk aside, what band after them doesn't owe them a nod of thanks for how to work the hell out of a chord and to make the 2 minute song an art form of both rage and giggles? This CD, Ramonesmania and It's Alive are very much essential discs for the car, for parties, and for working around the house with a dance in your step.

5-0 out of 5 stars Evocative and Emotional
This gem amazingly represents my childhood and my father (80's child). Raw emotion, nostalgia, adventurous music, and my first exposure to Tom Waits make this one of my favorite albums ever.

5-0 out of 5 stars splendid Weill and a splendid memento of the 1980s
Nearly every track on this CD (which includes material left off the original 1985 release) is a gem -- even if some are slightly more precious than others.
5-0 out of 5 stars Stop bashin' Lou!!
Actually I found it to be a great, and a little gruff version of such a normally stiff and formal kind of song. It's not so perfect but the style of it makes it all ok."Call from the Grave" is amazing as is the explosive diction in "Cannon Song" and Stings mermorable performace in "Mack the Knife" or Tom Waits grinding voice in "What keeps mankind alive".All I can say from hearing this album is "I thought I was a Weill fan before!" ... Editorial Review

Joey Ramone had a voice to launch a revolution, and that's what he did back in 1974 with his leather-wearing "brothers" and their three-chord blasts of punk sputum that glorified pre-Beatles rock filtered through their New York brand of irony. But Ramone was so much more than a nasal Queens kid who worshipped Brian Wilson and sniffed glue. While he may have lamented, "I Don't Want To Go Down To the Basement," or proclaimed that "Sheena Was a Punk Rocker," Ramone actually listened to much sterner stuff than the Ramones songbook would lead you to believe, worshipping at the altar of some darker gods than Phil Spector and Paul McCartney. On his first and only solo album, "Don't Worry About Me," the listener can witness Ramone's incredible range of talent and taste, as he runs the gamut from garage rock to goth to hard rock and back, stretching far beyond the three minutes per song he restricted himself to in the Ramones. Resurrecting Louis Armstrong's sappy "What a Wonderful World," Ramone--who died of lymphoma in 2001 at the age of 49--revved it up to Buddy Holly speed, tied a rockabilly string tie on it, and made it reek with a sincerity that Satchmo missed with his torpid delivery. Ramone lingered in the way-back machine a little longer, matching Iggy Pop sneer for sneer in his almost-perfect rendition of the Stooges' classic "1969," making the song his own, before moving on to showcase his own prodigious songwriting talents. "Mr. Punchy" is a silly rave-up that would have felt right at home on the Who's Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars GreatDeparture from a legend.
This is the album that Punk Rock legend Joey Ramone gave us before his untimley passing and it is deffinitley a goody. This album opens very strongly with Joey's fairly famous cover of the Louis Armstrong classic "What a Wonderful World", it's kind of inspiring yet sad considering this album was recorded in his weakest and most bleak healthwise times. Right after the great second track Stop Thinking about it we get to the weakest track on the album, Mr.Punchy a song that wouldn't sound out of place on Nick Jr. After that misstep the album stays good. The only other complaint I have is some songs sound... oddly produced. They just have some weird sound to them that I can't quite explain but I seem to be the only one who has brought this up so it must just be me. All in all if you are a Ramones fan this is a no-brainer, for all you others out there, I'd reccomend a download on I-tunes or something of What a Wonderful World or maybe The title Track Don't worry about me. All in all a great album, 4 stars.
4-0 out of 5 stars Once A Punk, Always A Punk
The name punk rock has been around since the sixties, with bands like the Barbarians and the Stooges drawing that label (They and other bands also have been given a "pre-punk" label). The genre, however, didn't really take off until well into the seventies, with bands like The Clash, The Sex Pistols, and The Ramones. While The Clash and Sex Pistols had their heyday during that time, The Ramones continued making albums until 1996, when they issued "Adios Amigos."Lead singer Joey Ramone (born Jeffrey Hyman in 1951), though, wasn't about to give up the persona that he had established with his band. He began work on his first (and sadly, last) solo album in 1999. Even though Ramone didn't complete the work he'd intended for his solo album, his guitarist and producer, Daniel Rey, released eleven tracks from those sessions in 2002. The title, ironically, is "Don't Worry About Me." The title track, though, has nothing to do with the lymphoma that killed him in 2001. It's a song about a relationship that had more drama than he could take.

5-0 out of 5 stars have the vinyl
This is an amazing record - like others have said, it delivers an intense punch of pioneering power-pop sound that's just fabulous to listen to. Not only that, but there's a certainly defined skill that comes off of the vinyl grooves of this album; the songs vary from the jumpy ("All Kindsa Girls") to the incredibly heartfelt and rather slow ("Just Like Darts"- a MUST listen). I HIGHLY reccomend this album. Totally overlooked, but absolutely seminal.

4-0 out of 5 stars More power pop than punk but a fine album nonetheless
This has always sounded more like Big Star than the Ramones or Stooges, but its a good rock 'n' roll album nonetheless. In an era when horrific arena rock such as Peter Frampton ruled the airwaves, bands like Real Kids released lo-fi albums which recalled 50s and 60s pop music, and while they never had the following of the Ramones, they were certainly playing their part in the fight to save rock 'n' roll. They are my favorite rock 'n' roll band to come out of my homestate, aside from the Modern Lovers (who Felice had been a member of) and the Pixies. The music itself is incredibly catchy and rocking, and its obvious John Felice is a big fan of Buddy Holly and all the other pop-rockers of the 50s and 60s. The overall sound is mostly similar to Big Star, but there are a few tunes which make me realize why its classified as punk, mainly the angry teen angst anthem at the end "Reggae Reggae". Great dancing music, I'd reccomend picking up the first Modern Lovers album and "#1 Record" before this, but if you enjoy those classics LPs than you'll probably like this. Fun if unessential.

4-0 out of 5 stars 70's Garage Rockin'
Love songs with attitude that totally rock! Originally released in 1977, this debut has excellent production. They followed-up with a few albums in the early 80's and singer John Felice released a solo album in the late 80's--all of which have less attitude and are a little more pop. How's this for an obscure reference: sounds like early Skrewdriver (All Skrewed Up/Boots and Braces), sans megalomania, with Mick Jaggar singing. Should appeal to fans of the Ramones, B-Movie Rats, Supersuckers. ... Read more

This was the first punk band i had everheard. I was in seventh grade (88) i was in Germany. My buddy was like check this band out, it was Black Flag. I was like Black Flag what is that, he was liek trust me you'll like it. I went and was blown away. This band changed everything from that day forward i listened to. This has grown to be one of my favorite bands. If you havent gotten into this band you need to. GET TO IT

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Greatest Hits
As far as greatest hits albums go, this ones for the books. It's got all the essential Black Flag hits on one album, spanning their entire career. If you were only going to own one Black Flag album, this one has everything your looking for. If you want to see what early 80s California hardcore was like, this is a great primer. Perfect disk for newbies to Black Flag, and also a great oppertunity to get all the tunes you really want by them all together. Plus, the version of "Louie Louie" is indespensibe.

5-0 out of 5 stars ''my girlfriend asked which i like better''
black flag were an awesome punk/hardcore band. most people have heard of these guys, but, if you haven't you must've been living under a rock. i think this cd is great because it showcases material by both henry rollins and keith morris. i know alot of people disagree over it but i enjoy both vocalists. standout tracks: six pack, tv party, and louie louie. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars another Thunders live album
There are several Johnny Thunders live albums out there. This is one he made with Walter Lure under the rubric "Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers." 5-0 out of 5 stars Johnny Thunders Live Does Not Get Any Better
The Heartbreakers just might have been the best band in the world in the late 1970's. Unfortunately, they were shunned by record companies and were never widely known. Today, they are almost forgotten. You can hear them here at their best, in front of a delirious home-town Max's Kansas City crowd. Scorching Johnny Thunders-Walter Lure guitar duels are punctuated with hilarious lewd banter. This CD release includes tracks with Jerry Nolan and a truly heartbreaking version of So Alone. Absolutely essential for the Johnny Thunders enthusiast, and a warning for the uninitiated: The Heartbreakers might change your world.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wild
This in my opinion is the best live album of Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers. Wild and intense, in the same time vulnerable and melodious, really far out. It also doesn't disturb that much, when the beginning of a song doesn't work out and they need a second start. My favorite songs are Chinese Rocks", Get Off Of The Phone", One Track Mind", Can't Keep My Eyes On You" and I Wanna Be Loved". ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Timeless in it's absence of punk rock cliches...
This album is timeless and classic in it's portrayal of human anxieties. Many people are judging this by today's standards on what passes as punk, but for what it was it's a great album. The sad thing about punk these days is that it has too many standards to conform to.Punk rock was representative of a then counterculture, but as a lot of things do, it melded with pop culture. Now I think that people have forgotten what punk was about. This record is pure, passionate, and fun at the same time.Keith Morris's knack for sarchasm is fully intact, on what I see as an honest view of our society's decreasing compassion towards humanity. The music does it's job by conveying the same anxious emotions in an original way.It sounds like the Circle Jerks, nothing else and nothing less.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not a Sophmore Effort
More than one person referred to this as a second outing for the band, did everybody miss wild in the streets and golden shower of hits?
5-0 out of 5 stars BEST AMERICAN HC. !!!!
I cannot believe there are so many people who are dissapointed with the bands sophomore effort, which I find as good as their first and even 3rd record !!!!Along with Black Flag and The Germs, these guys helped write the rules for the style and for generations to come.Loud, angry 1 min. blazes of undiluted raw aggression, with a nice sound to boot !!! Only complaint is that this used to come on a two-lps-on-one-cd with Group Sex on Frontier, but then there were a number of defective cds which did'nt really include both lp's,contrary to what the box stated,so I chose to buy both vinyl reissues separately. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars This is a must-own
I have owned this twice and it was stolen each time.So I will buy it again. Most of the tracks are not available for download, legal or otherwise, yet they're almost all worth having. They were not the mega-chart-toppers of the era, yet when you listen you will realize that you heard these songs and were affected by them. After the rock-bottom vapidity of the late 70's, the 80's recaptured the energy and passion that had made the 60's so transcendent. But they did so in a completely new vein, and the Motels captured the combination of modernity and nostalgia better than any of the better-known bands. This compilation is as complete as you can hope for in a "best of" collection, and if you don't own their entire catalogue, this is the one to get.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Group of Mystery
Martha Davis is an enigma. The backbone and heart of the Motels, she truly emanates mystery. I've always found that the lyrics she writes vary from the confusing to the just plain nonsensical. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, as her vocal style is truly unique - she manages to portray bitterness, loneliness, hatred, sensuality and adoration with equal intensity, a feat that few other vocalists can match. But interpretation of songs by The Motels can be very hard.
5-0 out of 5 stars 80's Girl
Best Of-No Vacancy-Motels is a super alblum!! It takes me back to the most wonderful decade of the 20thcentury "THE 80'S. "Shame", "Cries and Whispers" and "Suddenly Last Summer" are my favourites. It's too bad they don't play songs like these on the radio anymore. ... Read more

First off, after reading some of the reviews below, Fear's primary objective was to offend. If you don't understand that you aren't in on the joke. How serious they were about it all would best be left up to the individual listener. Personally, I don't have a thin skin and prefer to think it's all in fun.

3-0 out of 5 stars its ok
Its not the best punk album ive ever bought, but it was worth the 2 bucks i payed for it on vinyl. Some of it sounds too metal to be enjoyed but alot is good. Like the opening track. "hey" isa cool song. ... Read more

Devo were pioneers in the `New Wave' movement and the world is just that little bit better off for their existence.5-0 out of 5 stars A Breath Of Old Fresh Air
For those who's experience with Devo is limited to their three hit tunes will be in for a great surprise when they discover this 'punk rock' anthem. In addition, we do get extra tracks including as was previously mentioned the best live Devo ever. I agree. Although it is a major contrast from the Q./A. album in terms of attitude and timbre. 5-0 out of 5 stars Three great bonus songs plus two free albums!
Not only do you get Devo's first real album with them singing "We Are Devo" in the song "Jocko Homo" and the only version of "Satisfaction" that tops the Rolling Stones, you also get three bonus songs tacked on the end.The extra tunes are very high-energy and are 3 of my favorite 5 Devo songs ("Wiggly World" and "I'm a Potato" are elsewhere). These same songs are on the two Hardcore Devo albums.Squeezed between this is the 1980 Freedom of Choice tour recording (which is available in long form from Rhino Handmade).Buy this CD and the other twodouble-album CD releases. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars "Nostalgia is the symptom of a dying culture"---Grant Hart
I had just became a Bob Mould/Husker Du fanatic in the early-1990s and was buying up their back catalogue of stuff when this CD came out in 1994. Anything "new" from Husker Du was a BIG thing, so I snagged it as soon as it hit the record stores. This live CD was compiled from shows from 1987 when they were promoting Warehouse: Songs and Stories, their last studio release, so many of the tracks come from that album. That's OK by me, as I love that album.
5-0 out of 5 stars Please find a way to hear this album!
This band deserves so much more than they got. I really, really believe that aside from lack of big label promotion (of course!) their NAME killed 'em as a more referenced punk band. If that sounds stupid, I know from experience trying to get friends to hear them that the name is an immediate turnoff.
4-0 out of 5 stars blistering classic
