Don't ignore this cd if you own All My Days
I was under the impression for a while that this cd was a "compilation" of some of Rita's music from "All My Days" with some of her older music. Not true. Some of the same songs are here, but they are mixed differently. This is a live album. It is not like other live albums where it is one long recorded concert and you can hear the audience throughout. If you love "All My Days" you will love the live quality of this cd - plus you will get to hear portions of some songs that were not included on "All My Days".

Rita is by far the musician that has the greatest personal impact on my life in a long time. She truly worships God. There is never a question when listening to her heart on this album or any of her others, that her music is not about her - it's about God - period. I love that. There is no attempt to impress the listener with vocal or instrumental talent here - simply an invitation to join in a journey. My all time favorite Rita Springer song is on this album - "Freedom Reigns", a song that literally proclaims the verse found in a letter to the Corinthians, "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom". The song "Moving with the Lamb" is an incredibly sweet and personal proclamation of relationship with Christ.

Rita's music has become an integral part of my personal devotional time. Her music cuts to the quick, gets to the point, goes straight to the Throne, does not pass go, does not collect two hundred dollars. For those of you that have been searching for "something better" than much of the Christian musical fare offered, here it is. If I could only own one cd - this would be it. This is why God created music.

The Heart of Christ
Rita Springer has such a heart for worship. She reminds us of how Awesome God is and how much He loves us. She also encourages us to chase after Him. Her music is passionate and genuine! Get this CD! You won't be sorry!

Five stars is not enough
Actually I feel back giving it just five stars. It is that good of a CD. I heard her live at TheOOZE.com's conference in Seattle and she was even better than that CD. You will not regreat buying this CD or hearing her live.

Definitely the BEST up to date
This might be a biased review, because I proudly regard myself as THE Hillsongslover(well, certainly in South Africa)

This is the most amazingly wonderful album by Hillsong Music to date. The Praise and Worship is sooooooooooo anointed and I can't get enough of it!!!! The Potter's Hand will be my all time favourite - it's even more powerful to me than SHOUT TO THE LORD.

Their newest album, By Your Side has already been released here in South Africa. I have a "warning" The feel of this album is entirely different, but it is bound to be a special one. I love it. Look out for the wonderful "FOREVER I WILL SING OF YOUR GREAT LOVE" by Darlene Zschech. The idea of this new album is to bring the new generation of writers into it. GREAT nonetheless.

TOUCHING HEAVEN CHANGING EARTH is HIGHLY recommended and every song makes it feel as if the price is a rip off for the retailer.

In short GET IT!!!!!!!

Truly a Heaven touching, earth changing experience!
What can I say about the Hills Christian life centre? To me, Darlene Zschech is the Barbra Streisand of praise/worship. She is also an extremely gifted writer, for on this album she unleashed her greatest piece of all(even topping 93's "Shout to the Lord), which is the majestic "The Potter's Hand". Never before have I felt the Spirit's presence and power in worship as I have when worshiping with that song.

Other incredibly anointed songs are "Touching Heaven, Changing Earth", "Holy Spirit Rain Down", "You Are Holy", "My Greatest Love is You", "You Gave Me Love", "Yes and Amen" and another personal favourite, "Jesus You Gave It all".

One of the BEST! For even BETTER, try By Your Side!

Another great CD from Hillsongs!
I don't know how they do it. Every year, Hillsong Music Australia records a better CD!

You have to buy this one! You won't be disappointed! The songs are all beautiful and annointed. From the catchy praise songs to the wonderfully intimate worship of this CD, Hillsongs demonstrate a love for the Lord that is truly beautiful.

I'm so thankful to God that I have found out about Hillsongs!

Passionate, uplifting, wonderful!!! Hillsongs does it again!
It seems that these guys just get better with every album they put out. I've been a Hillsongs fan since I got a copy of "People Just Like Us" back in 1994 or so and every subsequent album since then I have enjoyed more and more. I like Hillsongs because their songs are upbeat and genuinely heartfelt, they totally convey their passion for the savior through their songs. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite song on this album, because they are all amazing, but some of the ones that stuck me the most were "You Are Near," "One Day," "Everyday" and the title track "For This Cause." I was especially drawn to "For This Cause," because it defined my life as a christian, and how I am totally living for the cause of Christ. This album is deninately a must buy in praise and worship music! I guarantee that this CD will touch your heart and bring you closer to the Father. I just can't wait until their new CD "You Are My World" is released in July at the Hillsong Conference, because I know it will be just as good as this one (if not better)!

Get Ready to WORSHIP!
In all honesty, I didn't have especially high expectations of this CD. I borrowed it from the library, expecting it to be pretty "been-there-done-that" and to put it bluntly, another slickly packaged piece of mediocricy from the music world.

But then I popped it in my CD player, and the first thing I thought was WOW! Rebecca certainly proves that she knows how to wake us up-this CD is definitely one of the most encouraging, refreshing, worshipful, and just flat-out-joyful worship albums I've ever heard! It really does make you just want to lift your hands and dance (a true sign of a good worship album).

Some highlights of the album? Well, as I've said, sheer energy and joy is probably the main one. Some of my faves on hear include "Song of Love"; the refrain "...the mountains rejoice" is constantly in my head these days. "It is Well With My Soul" is also redone tastefully, and don't miss the unique voice-over on "Better is One Day."

The small flaws in this latest RSJ offering are probably the "sameness" of the accompaniment-at times it seems a little heavy on percussion. Secondly, some songs like "Breathe" are so popular that we really don't need another recording of them. Even though this CD has a few faults and it can't touch "Pray" and "Transform",it is still far from terrible.

Great worship songs
...The CD opens with the Phillips, Craig and Dean favorite "Let My Words Be Few" - I love what Rebecca does with this song! Fans of worship songs will also recognize "Breathe" from Michael W. Smith's worship album, and "God of Wonders" from City on a Hill (see my other reviews to read my review of both these albums). Paul Baloche's "Above All" and the favorite "Better is One Day" are very well-done. Note: "Above All" was NOT written by Michael W Smith - I actually like Paul Baloche's version better, but the song gained popularily after MWS's Worship album came out.

Then Rebecca shows some of her songwriting talent with several songs on this album. "Song of Love" and "Lamb of God" are wonderful, and I love her version of "It is Well with My Soul". Anyone who likes Rebecca St James' music should buy this CD, and even if you haven't tried her other albums yet, get this one! It's a great worship album that won't disappoint you!

Also, you might want to check out Rebecca's rendition of "Love Broke Through" on a Keith Green tribute album of the same name, which was released in early 2002, 20 years after Keith Green's death. This album is a compilation of other artist's renderings of some of Keith Green's most well-loved songs.

An Inspirational CD
This is an amazing CD. It was my first CD that I have bought by Rebecca St. James, and believe me, it was worth every dollar spent.I highly recommend this CD. You will definitely not regret it. I will review the songs for whoever is interested.
1. Let My Words Be Few:
This song is amazing. It seems to be in the form of a prayer. The words are exactly what I would say if I was praying to God. It expresses how I feel about our Lord.
2. Song of Love:
This song is so true. It is like the first song in that it accurately expresses my feelings for God. It is hard to describe it, but it is just beautiful.
3. Breathe:
This song has been recorded quite a bit, by many artists. Rebecca St. James' version is just perfect. The song suits her voice perfectly. The words express an intense longing for God, which most of us can probably relate to.
4. God of Wonders:
There is nothing I can say, except for "Awesome!"
5. Lamb of God:
This is an amazing song. The lyrics are just..... awesome. I really don't know how to describe this song. I just know that I really love it.
6. Above All:
This has to be one of the greatest Christian songs of all time. Its authors knew what they were talking about when they wrote it. Rebecca St. James does a terrific job on this song. A great song, no questions asked.
7. Better is One Day:
I first learned this at a Bible camp. It is one of my all-time favorite songs. Rebecca St. James is perfection on this song. I like her version of it. The words are so true. One day in God's courts would be better than a thousand days elsewhere.
8. Quiet You With My Love:
Wow......... An awesome song. I love this one.
9. More than the Watchmen:
This is a great song. It is based on a verse from the Bible, and it happens to be one of my favorites. This song is just great.
10. It is Well:
I've heard this song so many times. Rebecca St. James' version is amazing. There's nothing more to say. It's perfect.
11. You:
What can I say about this song? It's inspiring, beautiful, awesome.... I think it expresses every true Christian's desire. It is beautiful. It is, in my opinion, the best song on the CD.
12. Omega:
This is the only song on the CD that I do not like. It is not in the same caliber as the others.

Revival at Brownsville + Vineyard= worship
If you've ever heard or seen the passionate worship that occurs at Brownsville Assembly of God, you'll understand why I love this one. Along with Vineyard leader and songwriter Andy Park, Lindell Cooley exhorts people to glorify God with fervor.
