Easy to use, but...
We love having this, but I have a hard time folding it up.It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I always need my husband available to do it.I know he won't get folded up in it!We had no difficulty setting up the bassinet part.

Love this Pack and Play!
We definitely wanted a PnP with the bassinet and changing table feature, but didn't need the mobile, vibration/sounds, etc.We planned on keeping it in our dining room so we didn't have to go upstairs for diaper changes, etc.It's indispensible--and it actually matches our dining room color scheme--the color and fabric of the PnP are very subtle and not obnoxious, and the design is sleek.

I only wish it had one of those "organizers" for diapers, etc.on the side of it.I ended up buying one and attaching it, but a built in one on this model would be a great feature.

Excellent through the years!
We got this pack and play for the birth of our first son who is now two years old.In the beginning we set it up with the changing table and bassinette.It sat in our livingroom and the baby napped in it and got his diapers changed too.With our second son (who had no dresser, we put all his clothes in the bassinette part and used it even more than with the first baby.

It's easy to set up and take down and it's priceless!Now our two year old uses it to sleep in when we go visit people.If you're buying a shower gift, let this be it! ... Read more

What about the big babys?
I bought this for my daughter when she was about 3 months she loved it!!!!! but the thing is she had grown out of it by 5 months cause she was so long. and the hight ajustment does take up enough slack for her to jump anymore. so if you have a larger then normal baby this is not the toy for you.

INDISPENSABLE - WE LOVE IT!
This is a wonderful product - especially for the money. I've spent a lot more on other items that my daughter has zero interest in - but this on I can keep her interested in and happy in for up to a half hour at a time.

We have a very open floor plan with few true doorways so I debated buying this, but we keep in in the doorway between our bedroom and bathroom. It's great for when we are getting ready in the morning. After my daughter has eaten we put her in it and it keeps her happy until we are ready to leave the house. Then when I get home with her after work I put her in it so I can get changed into "mommy" clothes.

The bumper is great b/c it doesn't bang up the door jam, and it has great handles that I can attach link-a-doos to - I usually attach another toy to those so I'm not constantly picking up her toys off the ground - it has 3 great trays on it - but my daughter is at that stage now where she likes to throw everything on the ground!

It is SO EASY to install and my daughter has never been scratched by the straps (read that in another review). My only wish is that it would last longer! We re-adjusted the height last night and realized that we only have about an inch left - I'll be so sad to see her outgrow this!

We love it
All my kids have had these things. They just love them! They bouncy and get their excersize and aren't fussy at all when they're in them.

The only draw back is you have to have the right kind of doorway, and it makes your baby do the "jelly legs" thing when you try to hold them standing up. ... Read more

Truly doesn't serve its purpose.
So...I bought this for our 7 month old.What a nightmare.What the previous posters said about this thing is TRUE.It is hard to get it to STAY PUT in the cart while you put your kid in it. It just doesn't happen.And then...when you DO get your baby in, the seat portion is so narrow that it barely is the width of your child's hind end.Forget the bar cover.It is just as narrow.This thing covers just that small area and if you have a child like mine, they are reaching over and touching EVERYTHING.To add to it, the back cusion part doesn't even go up to the top of the back support.My daughter totally whacked her head on the back of the cart seat and screamed.The cusion part totally doesn't cover it.

Just bad.Just spend the extra cash and buy something that covers the whole darn cart!

This well-designed bouncer is a good investment, if you're looking for a reliable source of home entertainment for Baby. It features adjustable seat restraints, Velcro strap adjustments, footrest clips, and a removable entertainment/activity center for easy cleaning. The springy yet firm metal frame bounces manually or from random movements by its occupant. Soothing vibrations, sounds, lights (optional), and two detachable toys accompany it. The toys attach to the chair's play center/mobile, which can be removed and placed elsewhere (such as the side of a crib). The seat is strictly for bouncing, however, which it does very well. It may look versatile, but it is not intended for air or automobile travel. It is also not recommended for babies heavier than 25 pounds, or those that can sit upright alone. 8 months and still going...
I am amazed how long this bouncer has lasted. I paid half the price of most bouncers and it has far exceeded my expectations.I put my 23 lb 8 month old in any other bouncer and he is weighted down to the floor deeming them unusable.This one is just as sturdy now as it was when he was 10 lbs...and he hasn't even outgrown it in length yet at 29 inches.I can see its only going to last a month or so more...but it has been great!Besides nursing this is the only way to get him to sleep.The toy bar is okay, but really not a feature we used much.It entertained him at a few months old, but now he doesn't care at all about it.He never really cared about the vibrator either...so one set of batteries has lasted us the entire time.Recently he's started thinking it was funny, so its been used a bit more.Anyway, this bouncer is great...especially for the low price!!!I'm glad I didn't buy a more expensive one that he would've weighed down months ago.

Better than most...
This is a great non-bank breaking bouncer. It eating a ton of batteries on the vibration part, but its still worth it. I was never a fan of bouncers with my 1st child, but baby #2 loves it!

You will love this swing!
I purchased a similar Fisher-Price cradle swing three years ago for my daughter and we both loved it. She adored the side-to-side swinging motion and it was a real helper to me during nap time. At the time, this particular swing was among the most expensive out on the market; but, it has now been handed down twice and received equal kudos from my sister-in-law and best friend.

Best Swing Made!
From the day I brought her home, this was my lifesaver.It helped me get more than 2 hours of sleep!

Good:
-Padding is great especially for a newborn.My daughter weighed 6 pounds and had no problems with her head falling.
-Lights, sounds, and sea creatures help keep her entertained even at 4 months.
-The two directions are great.
-The storage on the back is convient for diapers, pacifiers, etc.

Downfalls:
-The base of the swing is wide and takes a lot of room (but doesn't all swings?).
-The batteries are used quickly.
-Took awhile to put together but my husband had no problems.

My niece, which is 5 days older than my daughter, would not sit in ANY swing (she had tried 4 different ones).When she came to my house, she LOVED this swing and sat in it for over an hour.

I can't say enough about this swing...well worth the money!!!

Awesome swing!
What an awesome product, my 1 month old loves it. We have only had it for 3 weeks and my newborn has already fallen in love with it. She just loves watching the fishy "swim". My only negative comment is I wish the sound and mobile would stay on longer than about 7 minutes.It does get a little annouying having to push the reset button over and over again. Very useful seat!
We bought this seat instead of getting a regular full-size high chair.We live in an apartment and didn't have the floor space to store a high chair.This seat has worked out wonderfully.We keep it strapped to a dining room chair, and our daughter (15 months old) has been using the chair since she was 5 months old.We like the chair so much that we bought another one to keep at Grandma's house.

We love this seat
We got this seat when my son was 5 months old, and I wish we'd had it even sooner! I thought we'd want a traditional highchair, but a few moms in my playgroup recommended getting one that attaches to a regular chair - I'm really glad we took their advice.This one was really simple to put together, and I love that it takes up virtually no extra room. It's a great seat -- one of our best baby purchases so far.

A great space saver with twins!
My twins have just finished using these chairs, at four years old!They took their first bite of rice cereal in them at 4 months, and they have worked great at every stage as they grew.We did not have room for two big bulky high chairs for the twins, so these were the perfect answer! My Sons Love This Saucer
Both of my sons absolutely love this saucer.My first born is too old for it now, since he is almost two, but when he was younger he would stay in it for quite awhile and loved the one toy that spinned the little beads/balls and made noises from it.My younger son who just turned 6 months still loves to go in this saucer, and he loves grabbing onto the little doggy that sticks up.I found this to be interesting since my first born never paid attention to that toy too much.My younger son can stay content in his saucer for a good 30 minutes, as long as I put some of his other toys up on the saucer too.I would definitely suggest getting this saucer if you are looking for one.The only problem I had was the one rattle type toy that spinned around would come out on one side, which I think it is meant to do that, but Im not sure.Sometimes I thought it was a good thing because my son was able to bring it closer to him and liked to put his mouth on it, but other times, when it kept coming out after I put it back in there, it was a little annoying.All in all, I think this is a great saucer and Im glad my aunt got it as a gift for us.

great fun!
My daughter loved this excersaucer from 4 months til about 12 months when she started to "cruise" and wouldn't be contained anymore.I think the price is a bargain for such a lifesaver!I was able to get a few minutes to myself to cook dinner etc.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the hour glass toy.I see other reviews about that and I understand that it needs to come off for safety.But why not just design a different toy for that space??It is annoying to my daughter and to me when it comes out of the hole.

a must for new moms

All Safety 1st Products Are Garbage
Stay away from this brand!!!I've never been so mad about a product or brand in my life.After I spent the morning getting to the store before the Christmas crowd these products are worthless.I have three styles of cabinets in the house and none of these products would work on any three.The safety device, if you can call it that, that locks double cabinets only opens apart less than two inches.The toilet locking device it a joke, they expect some cheap adhesive to stay on a toilet for awhile.Plus to lock the device it would make a loud click that could wake any sleeping child.After failing on three devices I packed it all back up and I'm going to return it fighting my way through the Christmas crowd again.Luckily I didn't waste any effort drilling or screwing anything into our nice woodwork only to find out it would fail.I would give this a 0 star but I can't.I glad there are companies that are out there to protect our children this company isn't one of them.

Safest House on the Block
We placed all of these items out safely in the house and feel much better about having baby in the house. I still keep a sharp eye on the baby, but it's shortened my list of things to worryabout for now. I have all of the safety first items and use them all diligently and properly.

Drawer locks are a joke.Within 2 minutes of installation, my son (then 18 months) could pry them open. now he's two years old and just yesterday he snapped a slide lock in half to get to his cookies...This just shouldn't happen.Spend your money on a more reliable product. ... Read more

Great for Puppy Training!
I know that they are meant for little ones, but they are great for puppy training too! Puppy pads cost a fortune and can leak. The vinyl backing on the pad keeps everything on the pad and really keeps any odors down. I've washed them several times and they still look great! Good for the puppy and much better for the environment than filling landfills with plastic pads!

I have used these waterproof pads with both of my children (My daughter who is 3 1/2 and my son who is a newborn).They are great for cribs, toddler beds and twin beds.Absorbancy is great for accidents or unexpected sickness in the middle of the night.These pads have saved my children's bedding and mattresses.I could not have gone without them!!

just ok, not impressed
after buying, washing and using these pads, i am not that impressed.the soft flannel side seems like it will come apart, almost too fuzzy.i agree, i would not put a young infant on top of this. also, the plastic side is so plastic that my baby sweats as well and would not put her on this side either.so, i use it under the sheet to protect matress and is safer for baby.a young baby could get wrapped up in it accidentally if left on top of sheet for sleeping.i prefer Carter's lap pads.they are not quilted or fuzzy but, they are water proof with both sides made of 100% brushed cotton flannel.you can get them in all sizes big and small.i use them for everything from changing table, to crib and also for diaper changes.they wash great. ... greata developmental toys
I love the colors that bare used for these toys. They call so much attention to my little one and the best part of it all is that with just a few strokes w/ a clorox wipe, they are all clean again.

Disappointed with the shipping of toys
I think these toys are great and would have been satisfied if I bought these for my own 3 month old son. However these were for a gift and they were shipped NOT in their original packages but just thrown in a shipping box loose with ablack & white photocopied paper describing each toy. I though it looked horrible! And to give this to someone for a baby shower gift looks cheap! They should have been in the original packages at least!

Great First Toys!
At 3 months, my son is just starting to notice toys and the Fascination Station has been one of the first toys he has started playing with. The toy suctions to a table or high chair and has a wheel much like a ferris wheel that has several different spinning and rattling parts. I read other reviews about the suction cup not sticking well, or the toy coming out of it's base.We have not had that problem - and this toy was a hand-me-down from a friend whose now 2 year old played with it as well.We now bring it with us when we go out to dinner and it entertains and distracts my son(and sometimes my husband as well!). It is hard to find toys to bring to resteraunts to entertain a small child that pack easily and aren't too noisy so as to distract other diners.

The Smiley face rattle is also great.My son is just starting to notice himself in the mirror and really enjoys the mirror on the back of the rattle.The squeaky noise is fun too.I've been anxiously waiting for him to start playing with toys and it is now just as much fun for me to interact with him using this toy.

I find these toys durable, brightly colored and they really hold an infant's interest.These toys have been a must have in our family and I've recommended them to a couple of friends who are expecting and have already added these to their baby registry!

In this corner... it's the Diaper Champ. Standing a bit tallerthan the competition, this wondrous contraption actually uses regulargarbage bags, making it super economical (no refills, hooray!). It alsoholds a few more diapers than other pails we've tried. To use it,simply drop a diaper in and flip the handle. To empty it, just unlockit and remove the bag. But the true test of a diaper pail is its smellcontrol, right? Overall, most moms thought that the Champ deserved itstitle, and only a few detected an occasional escaped odor or two. i absolutely love it!
you couldn't ask for a better diaper pail. one reason is, that you don't have to use certain bags inside the pail...can use a plain trash bag and second is that once you turn the handle over, you don't smell the dirty diapers. great product!

A great alternative
No one can deny that the Diaper Genie is the best at keeping odor out of the nursery.Wrapping each diaper induvidually in plastic to contain the smell is a brilliant idea.The downside is that the refills are costly. It always just seemed like such a waste of money to me.Lets face it, diapers are really, really expensive.It seems outrageous to have to pay even more to throw them away.

I definitely prefer the Diaper Champ.For the first few months, I just tossed the dirty diapers in.Now that my daughter is on solid foods, it's true that her diapers are stinkier.Well, I just keep my leftover grocery bags in the changing table drawer and bag the diapers before tossing them in.It's the same concept as the Diaper Genie, only get this, it's FREE.And in my experience, it works just as well.

It's also easier to empty this way. I always hated emptying the Genie.You have to pull out a mile of dirty diapers, or as I called it "the poo sausage."With the Champ, you just lift the garbage bag out and take it outside.

Don't be a sucker and pay tons of extra money just to throw away your already expensive diapers.I love my Diaper Champ!

Great breast pump
I rented pump from the hospital and I really liked it.If I was going to keep breast feeding my child I would defiantly purchase this pump.It was quick and easy to use.It is great that it has multiple comfort and speed settings.

Breastfeeding Twins
When I found out I was having twins, I knew I had been blessed. But I wanted to nurse them just as I did my daughter.But having two babys to breastfeed was going to be alot harder. But I knew I could do it! By having this pump it took some of the stress of nursing twins off of me, it was easy to use and very comfortable. They are now eight months old and I am still able to nurse them!!

The Best Bottle For Babies
I tried breastfeeding and it didn't work out for me. after 2 weeks i was giving my baby a bottle, He only seems to be satisfied when he eats from his avent bottles. Other bottles seem to not give him what he wants.

Nice bottle, but I wish it fit my Medela Breast pump.
This kit is great. I like the fact that it includes a brush to clean the bottles. The only downfall is the bottles do not fit the Medela Breast Pumps like most other brands do. Most other bottles can be interchanged with the breast pump bottles, but these are too wide. Also, my son prefers the Nuk orthedonic nipples to these, but he will use these. It just took a couple of times for him to get used to them. I also like the fact that the bottles come with covers, so they don't leak.

Overpriced
When I was shopping around for bottles and the best prices, I came across this set and though that it looked great...then I saw the price.Babies 'R Us has a similar set for half the price.It comes with 2 9-oz bottles, 1 4-oz bottle, 1 7-oz magic up with green spout, 1 white spout, and 2 size 1 nipples.Save yourself some money and get that set. ... Don't waste your money
Some of the products in this case are good, but you can buy them individually for less money.I got this because I liked that I could keep all baby's medicines together, but the case broke apart.The nail clippers were too small for me to use, I like the ones with the large white grip to make the clippers more secure in your hand.Mine did not come with the baby book pictured here, I got advertisements and a free sample of rice ceral.Save your money and buy products that you will use!

Infants tylenol
As for Shellbug, the stay at home mommy. You can use infants tylenol under age 2. I am a nurse and work for a peds clinic and when they get their shots, we give them infant's tylenol. I would check out the directions before thinking that you can not give children under 2 infant's tylenol. The clue would be infant's, then their is children's and so on. I have one more tip: It is best to rotate infants tylenol and infants motrin, unless your baby/toddler is allergic.

Love the Little remedies products
I did not have this kit for my first baby but I always used the Little remedies products. So when I saw this kit I definitely will buy this for my next baby and as for the mother who wrote that you cant use some of it if your baby is under 2 you also are not supposed to use infant tylenol if your baby is under 2 ... Convenient, Economical and Useful
This Nursery and Bath Care Set contains a number of highly useful baby items stored in a case that's compact and sturdy enough for regular travel.Our son recently turned two and we still have the kit on-hand for almost daily use.

The best items include

*the well-designed medicine spoon:It stands upright on its own so you can pour liquids into it and see how much you've dispensed;the guidelines are metric on one side and English on the other;the spoon itself is sized well for baby with little to no mess

* the nail clippers:Big handle for sure gripping while holding a potentially squirmy customer

* the bath thermometer:Much more accurate than so many other bath toys that try to do double duty as a thermometer).

The most disappointing component was predictably the thermometer.It's a pretty simplistic digital model that needed to be held in place too long to get very accurate readings from a baby.My wife and I use it ourselves and it works fine.If your baby tends to get a lot of fevers, invest in a high-end ear or forehead thermometer for the best combination of accuracy and speed.The toothbrush is also not very helpful because by the time baby is ready to begin brushing, he or she will want a less clinical-looking model with a smaller, softer head than this one has.

One note on the negative review at the top of the page:maybe everyone should move to Ann Arbor, MI before delivering because the hospitals and pharmacies are much more liberal with their giveaways there.We loved our hospital experience, but our parting gifts consisted of a bulb aspirator (which wasn't as nice as the one in this kit), a pat on the back and a "have a nice day now".Leaving the hospital and coming home with a newborn, especially your first, can be an unbelievably hectic time - I wouldn't want to rely on the possibility of freebies to help us take care of our baby.

Given the low cost of this kit, it's well worth knowing that you're prepared to come home with your newborn.And the Nursery and Bath Care Set will continue to pay off with its travel convenience and useful contents for years to come.

Pretty Good for a First Time Mom
I put this on my registry and received it at my shower.I have been pretty pleased with it as well!
*At first, I didn't think I'd need the thermometer because I also had an ear thermometer, but my child's pediatrician said they aren't accurate with newborns or infants, so I've gotten plenty of use out of it as an under-the-arm thermometer.
*I didn't like the bulb syringe at all... it's not very flexible.I much prefer the one given to us at the hospital.
*The nail clippers work great!I use them quite a bit since my son's nails grow so quickly.Some say to just tear the end of the nail off, but I'd hate to accidentally get it tearing into the nail bed!Ouch!
*I won't use the medicine measurer anytime soon thanks to the little syringes the hospital gave me, but once he's bigger and takes larger doses of medicine, I'm sure they'll come in handy.
*The brush is pretty soft, but his hair isn't long enough for the comb yet.
I think it's a great set, but this is the only one I have and I haven't checked out any others.I'd definitely recommend it with the fact that you won't use everything at once in mind.

I use almost everything!
I love this kit.Everything in this kit is a necessity and works well.My only complaint is the nail clippers.They are a bit big to use on a newborn...
Oh, and I wish I knew what hospital the lady went to that received all of these products...I got diapers and a formula bag...I had to sneak the t-shirt and blanket for memories!! ... Read more

Three years old and going strong
This is a great piece, my daughter loved it. Now that I am expecting another I have pulled it out. Three years later, and a lot of washes it has held up perfectly. Though I do have to purchase new toys for the bar since I can't find all the originals. The only downside is it started to fade after a couple washes....yet I did not wash it on gentle so it is most likely my own fault.

I liked it but....
My baby loved this gym and I was so sad when I had to return it. I washed the butterfly according to the instructions of machine washing on gentle and the head almost ripped off!

One of the best shower presents
I love this mat!!I had bought the Tiny Love Gymini in black, red and white for my son after reading all the info that those are best colors for newborns and that it was an award winning mat.As a shower present I received the brightly colored butterfly mat by Carters and I figured I'd give that to my mother to keep it there as a spare but I'm glad I never did that.After putting him on the Tiny Love mat he'd just lay there and do nothing.Put him on the butterfly mat and he's happy for hours just hitting all the toys (his favorite is the turtle mirror).Also, for a great funny picture of your little bundle of joy, take a picture of your babies' head on the butterfly head.It looks like the baby has antennas if you place the baby just so and the butterfly's cheeks and smile look like antennas for your baby.It is one of my favorite pix.Needless to say, this is a great product.It keeps my baby happy for hours and he can entertain himself and giggle at the toys as he hits them. ... lasted 5 washings
These were so cute that we bought 4 different patterns but after 5 washings the towels fell apart.What a waste of $$.So now I paid a little bit more $$ for Gap hooded towels.They lasted more than 5 washings so far but we'll see what that goes.

I like the size, thickness and softness of this towel, but after about 10 washings the hooding came unstitched.

Good size, heavy material
I received so many packages of washcloths at my baby showers. I had registered for these, and they remain my favorite. They are 10" by 10", larger than a lot of other washcloths. They hold up well in the wash. One person had mentioned the roughness of the terry cloth, but my baby seems to love them. I'm just sold on the size and durability.

Excellent!
Exactly what I wanted! Very useful for feeding my baby: I wipe her mouth and face with them. They are soft and small, which is very convenient. Also stay in good condition after a lot of machine washes.

Perfect for Winter Babies
My son was born in December...This carrier cover was great! It kept him warm and cozy everytime we went out...Someone asked us about the cover EVERY time we went somewhere...Everyone LOVED it...There is a fleece side (very warm) and a reversible rain material side...Couldn't have made it through the winter without it!!

Good Weatherproof Cover
We have been using this cover for 3 mo's.We like the water-resistant nylon.Many other covers that we looked at were fleece or flannel only.This cover has washed fine.We like that it does not interfere with the safety features of the infant car seat.We also like that it slips on and off rather than having to fight with zippers.If the face hole weren't quite so gigantic, we'd give it a 5.

Couldn't make it through the winter without it!

This item is a must have for bottle or breast feeding
I love this pillow and recommend it for either bottle or breast feeding. It has really saved my back!!! It also helps my husband feel more comfortable that he is holding the baby in the rightposition when feeding. It is also a great way to prop up our son when he wants to look around and helps with his GERD after feedings.

Perfect!
This is a great product for nursing moms and non-nursing moms also. I bottle fed my daughter and still got a lot of great use out of the Boppy. It was perfect for her to lay in on the floor and great for when she was learning how to sit up.
