    Editorial Review

Right from the introductory shriek and grind of "(515)," you know Slipknot are deadly serious about making a real heavy metal album. Iowa is intimidating in its unforgiving heaviness. Produced to perfection by wunderkind Ross Robinson, it takes the best of Slayer as a starting point. "People = Shit," "The Heretic Anthem," and "New Abortion" are relentless and wholly brutal, but this is no mere thrash. "Disasterpiece" features a weird, hypnotic riff, while "Left Behind" comes across like a duet between Alice in Chains' Layne Staley and Slayer's Tom Araya. The rerecorded "Gently" builds slowly from industrial atmospherics to a punishing explosion of noise. The title track (also old and formerly known as "Killers Are Quiet") is a deeply unsettling heavy-metal "Midnight Rambler." Frontman Corey Taylor claims to have performed it naked and bleeding from self-inflicted wounds, which isn't hard to believe. This masterfully constructed collection is painfully raw and utterly compelling. --Dominic Wills ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is My First Slipknot Album
There are some songs on this album that have a good tune and some good lyrics like, Disasterpiece, Left Behind and I Am Hated.
But in disasterpiece the beginning says,"I wanna slit your throat and f**k the woomb!" and thats just screwed up! but the rest of the album is diecent, defenentaly PARENTAL ADVISORY but pretty dang diecent!

1-0 out of 5 stars Ok, you misunderstood everything magic drummer.
Magic drummer dude, in case you didn't notice, I am not serious all the time. I was f**king around in my first iowa review. Yes I do hate them, no I probably couldn't beat joey, considering it's been 3 years since I've even touched a set. All I was really trying to do was get a response which I did when you responded, and show how dumb slipknot fans can be. (*COUGH* you *COUGH*) Even though I would most likely not beat joey on the drums, he still is a terrible drummer. You want some good drumming, you want "blazing feet" as you put it, go listen to Flo Mournier of cryptopsy. He can mop the floor with joey. I have a lack of knowledge? I can't even think of a response to that one, it's the dumbest insult I've ever seen. I never said I didn't like screaming, I said corey does nothing but scream, or he TRIES to sing. I never said anyone should listen to me either, I just STRONGLY state my opinion.

You misunderstood all my reasons as why I hate slipknot. (idiot)

1.Their masks are stupid because it's a gimmick to get little kids into thinking, "wow they wear creepy masks, they're so scary and different! i want their cd now!"
2.Yes they do pretty much play the same chord all the time, they don't change to often.
3.When you said "If you say they suck, usually that means that they are better than you", that didn't even make sense, unless you meant that I say they suck because I think I can play better, which I wasn't being serious about. (*rolls eyes*)
4.Ya I am aware of that fact, but I meant that you never hear the other 4 or 5 guys at any point. Maybe a few bangs here, a few scratches there but that's it.
5.PLENTY of people roar, it's not stupid, it's much harder to do then screaming. I really don't care if YOU can't understand what death metal vocalists are saying, a true metal head can understand anything.
6.Afraid of clowns, how the hell did you get that out of "that clown pisses me off"? That just means that the clown makes me mad, he is so retarded looking <@8^P
7.I was joking around on this 1, no they probably aren't gay, I made an accusation that they wear those masks to hide c*m stains on their faces, "it's probably sweat" lol you are so stupid dude. You COMPLETELY missed that one.
    8.We both agree here, ok.
    9.They still suck :P

Ok, I've proven my point that slipknot fans are not intelligant. This magic drummer guy took my very goofy and kind of funny review and made it seem like I am the dumb one. When in reality, magic drummer is the fool for not knowing when someone is being silly. This again proves how dumb slipknot fans are. This also shows how defensive and close minded slipknot fans are, if you say ANYTHING bad about slipknot, they jump in your face and are all "slipknot owns you, shut the f**k up, they are the bestest band ever, YOU SUCK!" I just have to laugh at that (ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha). Thank you all for your time.

    Peace.

5-0 out of 5 stars for this"brandon whetzel" guy...
dude, I am a drummer, not a "used to play" drummer.I highly doubt that even with your "few years" you could come close to Joey's double-bass tech. His feet are blazing.Yeah, try that speed he's got going for over 40 seconds (demonstrated on Slipknots 2nd album, track 8).you think you are better?pick up some sticks, sit your ass down on a drum-set, and show him up.I wish you the best of luck and I hope someone is feeding you oxygen 10 seconds into you trying.
Really, don't be dissin' this band based on your lack of knowledge.Just because Corey screams a lot, and joey sometimes rolls (although I watched him once; he doesn't roll, he plays every single note.Thats fast), doesn't mean that you are the supreme being of knowing and we should all listen to you.No.
This isn't death metal, and corey does lose his voice, even on tracks(2nd cd, last song, near end corey starts coughing and choking).
    WHAT MAKES SLIPKNOT "SLIPKNOT".
    1) The masks. You find another band with those kind of masks and has authority to wear them, I will eat my foot.
    2) They do NOT play the same thing over and over.If you listen to them, you will notice a big difference in the song chord structure and melody changes.
    3) If you say they suck, usually that means that they are better than you (faux-pronounced "foe"-drummer).
    4) You are right on this one.You know why?The human ear is only capable of picking out and transmitting 4 seperate soundwaves at a time.Thank you, you have just proven the presence of The Ear!
    5) Dude, who "roars" nowadays anyway? At least with Corey screaming, it is possible to hear what he is saying, not the low grunts and caveman talk of a "roaring" guy.
    6) Awwww.Afraid of clowns now are we?
    7) Dude, what if they ARE gay?I doubt it, but it would, I think, make tham all that more cooler. And those stains? What else could they be?Hmm.Sweat, perhaps?
    8) Ok, ill give you that one, MTV does kinda suck now.But hey, they played a music video of SOAD once, so they can't be all bad can they?
    9) Refer to Number 3, only this time, all in caps.
Im not out to discredit you or anything, just that you should be a little more informed on your random rantings and yelling. It never got anyone anywhere.
If you are a fan of Korn, Disturbed, or other bands with a unique sound (like SOAD!!), then you might be pleased with this album.Happy Shopping! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars If you like Mudvayne, check out this band
Hey, if you like the intricate rythms, versatility, and complex music that doesn't all sound the same, than Mudvayne is a great band.If you like them, you have to check out Project 86, especially there album drawing black lines. This band has awesome hardcore riffs, complex rythms, great bass, drums, and guitar and vocals, and the words are deep and meaningful.check them out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome cd
Mudvayne has been a great metal band from there smashing debut ld.50. But when they first got started they where a bad ass angry band that was pissed off but then out came the 3rd c.d Teoattc and we saw a different type of mudvayne. I have been into mudvayne from when i first listened to mudvayne's single not falling. then i burned all there songs on my comp and i just loved them any way here hwo i rate the songs

silenced: good hardcore openner sweet guitaring i love the middle when chad does his thing - Dont tell me what i want dont tell me what i need dont tell me what i need to feel i feel goddam nothing i can see it in ure eyes and i see righting f**king threw u- amzing opener. 5/5

Trapted in a wake of a dream- pretty good song not my personal favrioutes but not that bad. 3/5

Not falling- one of my fav songs on the track and by mudvayne its a mix bettween hardcore screamming and melody music. 6/5

(Per)Version Of A truth- not another personal fav but pretty ok could be better starts slow and gets heavy. 3 1/2 /5

3-0 out of 5 stars this is..........
i am getting into mudvayne and with the release of lost and found, their new album and happy?, their new single i was very excited about listening the starting blocks of this band. i decided to skip on LD 50 for the sheer reason that i thought it might be too experimental because it's their debut. so i decided to pick up the end of all things to come and i was disappointed to say the least. lost and found, whilst still being heavy math nu-metal rock mosh etc etc, was reasonably mainstream with the vocalist chad making an effort to appeal to fans of the heavier end of nu-metal. this album is heavy to say the least and some of the songs are just walls of noise that are pointlessly boring! (namely trapped in the wake of a dream). however there are some brilliant songs on here such as not falling and silenced. also the time signature changes do nothing for me really. its ok when you have 1 signature change in the bridge or something but not after 8 bars of riffage, then suddenly going into a 3/4 timing for 2 seconds then switching back. it really sounds terrible and not really THAT musical. theyr trying to say we're difrent and i give them that fact. they are a very different band. to enjoy this you just have to open your mind and listen 2 the music for what it is, no what you want it to be. if u want my advice, go and buy lost and found instead. loads better.

1-0 out of 5 stars Only Jesus Can Save You!
I hate this album! I hate all the black metal bands because they worship the devil...if you worship the devil you will go to the Hell with the devil and you will burn in the lake of fire forever...granishing your teeth, biting your tongue and crying for help...but no one answers...you have time still...after death the game is over and then we will see which side you were...Jesus loves you and wants you to be saved...just accept his love...now before it is too late!

5-0 out of 5 stars Epic and crushing
Ok, these reviews are about the cd and whether ir not it is good. NOT if dimmu are black metal or not.So all you elitists can keep your opinions to yourselves. This cd is excellent, the orchestra is a key piece on this and makes other albums that combine rock/metal with classical look like pure garbage (a.k.a. metallica's s&m).The drums, guitars, everything is brutal. Some great tracks are Vredesbyrd, Progenies of the great apocalypse, and Unorthodox manifesto. This cd isn't as monumental as Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, but it is good.I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes good metal.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very nice.
Dimmu Borgir, I can't really describe them. They have a completely unique sound. Shagrath's haunting growls, (which doesn't sound like popeye-country azz whoopin) galder and silenoz's almost hypnotic guitars, vortex's bass and clean operatic vocals, nick's lightning fast drumming, mustis's mesmerizing key board and synth skills, and the orchestra all come together to make 1 nightmarish sound.

This album is a little different from the rest, DB sound more like extreme metal than black metal on DCA which doesn't bother me, becuase it's still awesome. They have been developing this sound since EDT and I like it.

There are a few problems with this album. It seems a little over-produced, most people thinks this makes them sell-outs. I don't think so, I rather enjoy it. I have 1 problem with the current line up, mustis the new keyboard/synth. I not saying I don't like him, but I guess nobody can ever replace aarstad. (enthrone darkness triumphant will always be my favorite db album just because of him)

The songs can get a little tidious at times, (unorthodox manifesto) here is my rating on each song.

    1.Allegiance(4/5)
    2.Progenies of the Great Apacolypse(5/5)
    3.Lepers among us(5/5)
    4.Vredesbyrd(3/5)
5.For the World to Dictate our Death(3/5)
    6.Blood Hunger Doctrine(5/5)
7.Allehegens Død I helveds Rike(4/5) [nice vocals by vortex]
    8.Cataclysm Children(3/5)
    9.Eradication Instintcs Defined(3/5)
10.Unorthodox Manifesto(4/5) [Would be 5/5 but the intro is too long!]
    11.Hevenly Pererse(4/5)

Not 1 of my favorite db albums but it's still worth checking out. ... Read more

This cd is awesome i love red hot chili peppers one of the best bands in the world!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars CHILIS STILL RULE!!
GREAT! EXELLENT! the CD is pretty awsome it definitly has the greatest hits. The DVD is also amazing, although i was hoping for some other videos like breaking the girl, or my friends (old version) or some other old videos, but still this is a great stuff for collectors!!!
    MUST BUY IT!

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the wait
Really to sum it up this is a must have for any Chili fan.If you are die hard and bought it for the sole reason of getting your fix from the two new songs, then it is worth it.If you are just getting into the band, you?re getting a taste of all the radio hits with a few album tracks as well.My only criticism is that there should have been some older songs like Knock Me Down, Fire, and Skinny Sweaty Man, but there?s only 78 odd minutes to play with.Even though I?ve seen all the videos before the DVD obviously makes it easier to watch them all whenever. If you?re reading these to decide whether to get the CD or not, get it for the sole sake of Save the Population. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Korn records
In a year aching for a well-done metal release, this record provided eleventh-month relief. It is melodic, unique and heavy.

Stylistically, Take a Look in the Mirror falls somewhere between Korn's self-titled 1994 release and 2001's Untouchables. It is heavy and groove-oriented like the former, and melodic, dramatic and well-produced like the latter.

The combination of these elements makes the album sound like Korn while staying distinct from any one previous release.

Song quality is on par with Untouchables: outstanding. Whereas early Korn records had a lot of filler material, recent CDs have been consistent and amazing. Melodies are catchy and emotional while the guitars, bass and drums have great production and head-bobbing riffs.

One standout track is "Play Me," featuring rapper Nas. It does an excellent job of standing out in the field of rap-metal, with a talented and accomplished musician at the microphone. Midway through the track, the mood unsuccessfully shifts into Jonathan Davis's singing, but the track is worthwhile and notable overall.

Despite the record's high points, however, some improvements could have been made. Most of the track "Y'All Wanta Single" is downright horrible, for example, though it's possibly intentional.

Also, all the lyrics cover the worn-out territory of (guess!) child abuse and depression.

At least Take a Look in the Mirror makes 2003 worth looking back on.

4-0 out of 5 stars Joining the argument
You know, I have to agree with the last two on this one. Especially C. Steihl's articulate argument: this is a free country, and we are all free to listen to the music we wish. I find many of the heaviest, hardest metal out there to be musically offensive to my ears, as I perceive is as nothing but screaming and hitting a few chords as hard and fast as possible. However. I have a certain appreciation for musicians of any genre, and I can certainly respect people for actually knowing what they do and don't like.

As for categorization, I find referring to Korn as Metal is a grevious error, as it would be to refer to Jimi Hendrix as folk. It all can fall under the "Rock" umbrella, but it's just not the same. Metal is a genre passed down through the mainstream with Megadeth and Metallica, and through the more underground routes with Kamelot, Blind Guardian, Cradle of Filth, etc, etc. There are better examples, but those are what come to mind for me at the moment. In any case, the best you can do with Korn is put them in the "hard/heavy rock" category, as they're not quite metal, but they're also not rapping. Korn didn't even so much fall into the genre as help define it, when a movement began against the grunge style of just standing there depressed looking onstage. Most of the bands Korn gets compared to are, ironically, copying the style of the albums Korn and Life is Peachy.

So please, before posting a review, try to make sure you're focused on the band, and not the fans. Remember, Korn is far more deserving of a career than most of the stars out there. At least they can play their own instruments and write their own songs. It's not the fans fault if Korn makes a bad album. All bands are prone to that.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Guilty Pleasure
You know what? I like this record, and I couldn't give a damn what any 35 year old virgin metalhead still living with his parents thinks about that! It certainly beats BR00TAL style death metal any day of the week.
Sure, you have to look past the lameness and corniness of JD's lyrics, and the music is quite cheesy at times. But I simply can't deny that here Korn have written a very catchy and satisfying album. The albums strength is certainly Fieldy's bass which quite simply sounds superb.
Ok, it's not f*cking Mozart, or Burzum for that matter, but I simply cannot deny the dumb yet wonderful appeal of this album.

5-0 out of 5 stars CKY is Awesome! I Just Got Into Them!!!
It was kind of hard finding this album, because I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we don't get much CKY around here. Anyway, I love this album. Like most people, I saw Jess Margera, slong with the rest of the band, on a few episodes of Viva La Bam and I wanted to know how good CKY was. So I bought this album and now I love it.

    1. Escape From Hellview: 10/10. I absolutely love this song. It's one of the best on the whole album. It has very meaningful lyrics and I love the verses.

    2. Flesh Into Gear: 7/10. Not my favorite, but it takes a while to like it.

    3. Sink Into the Underground: 8/10. Pretty good, I like the verses a lot.

    4. Attached at the Hip: 10/10. The whispering of the verses makes this song sound pretty heavy, but when you get to the chorus, it's really catchy, like most of the songs on this album.

    5. Frenetic Amnesic: 10/10. Very weird lyrics, at first I didn't know what they were talking about, but it's really good, espescially the chorus.

    6. Schock and Terror: 10/10. I didn't appreciate this song until I got to the chorus, which is still in my head right now. It is very good, really catchy, and just down-right meaningful.

    7. Plastic Plan: 3/10. This song is actually very boring. It goes very slow and you probably won't know the concept of it. Not my personal favorite.

    8. Inhuman Creation Station: 9/10. Jess's drumming is amazing on this song, and it's very catchy.

    9. Sporadic Movement: 10/10. This is very fast-paced, but in a good way. Although I like the speed of this song, my favorite part is when it slows down and the music stops all except the drumming sounding like a heartbeat and the simple guitar strums.

    10. Close Yet Far: 10/10. I like that this is an acoustic song and at the intro it sounds kind of like a Backstreet Boys song but the chorus is catchy and it will stay locked up in your brain for days.

1-0 out of 5 stars sucked
this cd is not worth it at all. dont waste your money. this band has no talent and doesnt deserve your business.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing.
Like alot of other people, I first heard cky from Bam, on both Jackass and Viva la Bam. Only I didn't realize what songs playing were theirs, but I seen cky in the music credits alot, and finally decided to check them out. I bought this CD and was amazed. I love every song, with the exception of Plastic Plan, it just seems like it wouldnt be out of place in a dance club, but thats just what I think.

And for the people who say that all the songs sound alike, then they dont need to be listening to music at all.

Bottom Line- Buy this album if you like good music ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Starting life as the most competent Misfits tribute band to not actually play Misfits songs, San Francisco Bay Area punks A.F.I. have not only discovered how to write their own snarling melodies, but have developed the confidence to play them without a cloak. Sing the Sorrow marks the band’s first major-label release and the difference from their indie albums is in the details: songs freely shift gears and tempos, singer Davey Havoc flexes his pristine vocal abilities by breaking into the occasional falsetto, and sugary tracks like "The Leaving Song" and "The Great Disappointment" now take a place next to more standard nuclear-charged mosh-pit fare like "Bleed Black" and "Dancing Through Sunday." Longtime fans might take it like a kick to the head, but this band is clearly moving toward bigger things. --Aidin Vaziri ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good
This album was prodded to me as this hard piece of prog rock and I was ultimately disappointed based on that description.

This, at best, would be considered experimental.I've listened to some of AFI's older stuff and this sounds far more matured than anything else, and they seem to embrace different stylings.

"Death of Seasons" comes to mind first and foremost. How many post-punk bands pull off that level of industrial dabbling so succesfully?

Anyone who appreciates punk, rock, and experimental music should pick themselves up this album. It will get plenty of spins, trust me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Record.
I love this album. It took a while to get into, at first I just listened to it for Silver and Cold, Girl's Not Grey, and This Celluoid Dream. This was mostly becuase on those songs I could kind of understand what their vocalist was saying. But eventually I could make out his style, not that it wasnt enjoyable before. This is a band that seems great live, their songs rock pretty hard. It'seasy to see how this band has a large cult following.I like their songwriting and a lot of the bass parts. You should definetly buy this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Album so far.
As i said in my other AFI reviews they Have yet to release anything under Awesome. With this one it got even better,This album shows exactly what a hugely talented band can do if given the chance. The Lyrics are Very Curesque but not to the point of copying,The music is darker than their previous album (The art of drowning)and They experiment with even more new materials. The intro sounds almost like the terminator theme song until the chanting begins. From then on in things just get better. The track Death of seasons Is Incredible, how anyone wrote that musical arrangement is beyond me,It progresses from Screaming hardcore to a melodic dark chorus to......A Techno Beat. This is one of those albums you listen to over and over again without the need to skip any track. It may slice the AFI fanbase in 2 halves but those with enough maturity to take the album for what it is.It Will not dissapoint. As for "a kids review"Dude you cant even spell dont bother with a comparison. ... Editorial Review

While Blink-182's pop-punk has given more than its share of entertaining moments over their career, "sonic experimentation" is hardly what you'd expect from their sixth studio album. Within their guitar-bass-drums template, however, they offer moments of playfulness and lyricism that stretch their definition of sound. The tempo changes and uses of (relative) silence in "Violence" and "Stockholm Syndrome" borrow post-punk conventions, and lend a new feel to the band's trademark cranked-upness. (The use of treated piano on the latter song also suggests that they’ve bent an ear to a few psychedelic-pop classics in their time.) As with 2001's Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, a theme of loneliness emerges upon the first couple of listens, but this time it feels as if Blink wants to connect it to something larger than before. Growth from the guys who once jokingly celebrated man-on-dog intercourse? Yeah. And best of all, it's worth hearing. --Rickey Wright ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Look, stop flaming.
I guess you could say that I was a "13 year old girl teenybopper", since I am 13, and I am a girl.

But I love this album. And I'm NOT your regular teenybopper. I listen the Casualties,Children of Bodom, Nofx, Metallica, Rancid, etc. Basically, most death/power/heavy/tech/thrash/etc metal (maybe some nu-metal), ALL types of punk, adult alternative, emo, post-pop, post-punk, ska, and hell, even some pop, classical, rap, and 1000000 other things that I couldn't list.

So, don't say that I have to listen to XXXX and I'll start hating this. I HAVE listened to all the other punk you call true punk. I HAVE listened to all the metal, all the "oldies", etc. It's good, but Blink is good too. It's NOT punk, and I'll never call it punk. It's POP-punk. Modern punk with pop influences. Those 2 genres, punk and pop-punk, are very different creatures. Pop-punk is modern punk with pop influences.

I think Blink is the creator of modern pop-punk. And they remain one of the best. And most of their songs are good.

As with any genre, lot of pop-punk artists, like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan, aren't very good. But since I beleive NO album deserves 1 star (just think about it), I'd give those 2. And some pop-punk artists are just as good if not better than Blink, like Fall Out Boy. Both FOB and Blink have original-sounding voices, and they put some good thought into their songs. They've both got some hits and misses, as well.

For the most part, their albums are fun, the instruments are played fairly well, and there's some guitar solo work.

But I will say that some Blink songs annoy me. ALOT. (like Asthenia).

Bashing this band won't make you look cool. So stop.

And this album doesn't deserve 5 stars either. 5 stars means NO flaws, NO bad songs. And this does have some misses. More than I'd like. Which is why it deserves 3 stars.

In fact, the only album I'd give 5 stars would be The Mars Volta's Deloused in the Comatorium. Many albums, like Franz Ferdinand's debut album, Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP, Finntroll's Nattfodd, and the Killers self-titled album come extremely close to the 5 star mark but don't make it, so 3 stars is decent.

5-0 out of 5 stars Their best album since Dude Ranch
First off before crucifying them for their lyrics or use of the English language you should take a step back and read your own review. It was loaded with grammatical errors that would make any third grade teacher squirm. This album was definitely a step up instrumentally from the last couple albums. The production on it is tight and it is very listenable.Second, labels are lame.Blink never claimed to be punk rock, they just played the music they enjoyed. They never forced it down anyone's throats. The fact that they sold millions of records is great, what band wouldn't want to get their music out to as many people as possible. That is the whole point. They chose to make music a career and therefore did the best they could at their job, they were rewarded with countless fans and fat pocket books, so what. Are you telling me if you were an auto mechanic and somebody offered you a $100 for an oil change you would say "no, i'm punk rock, just give me $10"? I would most definitely recommend this one and the first two albums.

5-0 out of 5 stars why you haten!
all you blink haters who keep talking about blink182 just shut up! if you don't like them then don't listen. you don't have to complain about it! Anyway i think this album is the best it rocks. Like the song I miss you great song! which brings me to the point when tom says yead it still means head!it's just a word. you don't have to write a whole book about it!well this is there best cd yet!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Group Therapy Is The Only Album I Like All The Songs On It Especcialy B***h And I Am

5-0 out of 5 stars SONG BREAKDOWN
1)FALLING AWAY: NOT A REALLY STRONG OPENING-BUT PRETTY GOOD, STILL. THE CHORUS CAN GET A LITTLE BORING.
2)BITCH: DIRTY SONG, IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE LYRICS. BUT BESIDES THAT-THE OVERALL SOUND IS AWESOME AND FULL OF ENERGY.
3)I AM: SLOW AT FIRST-BUT THE SUDDEN ANGRY BURST OF ENERGY FROM THE LINES "F#@K YOU, I AM WHAT I AM," MAKE UP FOR THAT.
4)MOTIVATION: THE TITLE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF-ITS MOTIVATING!
5)SING: A SURPRISINGLY SLOW SONG WITH MEANINGFUL LYRICS. IT IS A MASTERPIECE OVERALL.
6)NOW IS THE TIME: NOT VERY GOOD. IT DOSENT DELIVER ANYTHING LYRICALLY-AND NOT MUCH MUSICALLY EITHER.
7)PARANOIA: AWESOMELY HARD-CORE. GREAT SONG TO ROCK OUT TO!
8)BRING IT ON: ENERGIZING AND PRETTY DAMN GOOD!
9)ANOTHER DAY GOES BY:SLOW, AND OK. JUST OK.
10)TODAY IS THE DAY: ENERGIZING AND MOTIVATING. AWESOME CHORUS.
11)BURN: THE HARDEST SONG ON THE ALBUM. GREAT TO LISTEN TO WHEN YOURE REALLY PISSED AT SOMEONE. (I LOVE THE SIREN IN THE START TOO!)
12)EASIER: BORING AND BORING AND-GUESS WHAT? EVEN MORE BORING!
13)SO LOW: CRAPPY LYRICS- BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THAT? ITS NOT A REALLY STRONG FINISH-BUT STILL GOOD.

5-0 out of 5 stars Some may need therapy after listening
Pop and rap listeners that is. I love this album, and i hold it like a peice of gold. It isn't the hardest or craziest album i've ever heard, of course not, but everything within it is great music. You've got some good nu-metal/rock, plus great vocals and audio ferocity, what more can you ask? Personally i think Felons and Revolutionaries is their best release, but thats not to say this isn't as well. Bitch is just a great song, Burn is a brutal song (equal to the likes of die mf die), and other songs like Sing, or Another Day Goes By are very good slow songs. I think it all fits together like one fancy jigsaw puzzle, all the peices alligned perfectly with a purpose. You should buy this album, because it is great music. ... Read more
