Fun, whimsical and captivating children's video. A must!
We borrowed Linda Arnold's video, World of Make Believe, from the public library for our 1-year-old son. We loved it so much that we watched it every day for the two-week loan period.

World of Make Believe is a musical story about a joker (Shenanigans) who hides the lucky purple baseball bat that belongs to Tyrone Rex, the dinosaur. When Tyrone visits Linda's daughter, Katie, he realizes that the bat is missing. Katie and Tyrone soon discover the first of several clues planted by Shenanigans and with the help of Linda and the children in the studio audience, recover the bat just in time for Tyrone to participate in the Dinosaur baseball play-offs. Linda Arnold's compositions are delightful and her troupe of actors put on a captivating show. One can't help but sing along and carry the songs around with them the rest of the day.

This is a beautiful, well-planned video; great, clean entertainment for kids of all ages. ... Read more

Tap your feet and sing along with Linda Arnold on Favorites in the Key of Fun. This album is a compilation from her six earlier albums that also includes five new songs. Arnold's voice is a clear, pure soprano and her gift for enchanting, original lyrics and melodies is evident throughout. A true master of genres, she wows us with a mix of styles ranging from ballads and waltzes to rock and jazz songs to boogie, Broadway show tunes, and cowboy ditties. Children will delight in encountering their favorite animals in songs like "At the Dinosaur Baseball Game" and parents will applaud Arnold's messages: imagination and dreams, she demonstrates, are valuable ("Make Believe"), eating your vegetables is important ("Vegetable Lament"), and, above all, children need love ("Quite a Combination"). Mama in the key of fun
I love this CD! It's easy to understand, and Linda Arnold doesn't speed up too much for pre-schoolers. My son is not overly enthusiastic about music, though he will sing or clap along on occasion. This CD has had the most success of any CD's I've shared with him - he'll even sing the title verse of "There's a Dinosaur Knockin' On My Door." But most of all, I like it: the melodies are irresistable, the lyrics are easy, clearly pronounced, creative and fun. This is great children's music, and I like singing along with it, too.

Daughter's favorite
My daughter, who turned 2 today, loves Linda Arnold. In fact, "Listen to Arnold?" has become her most frequent request, replacing "Baby Beluga." She sings along with a number of the songs, but her favorite is "There's a Dinosaur Knocking at My Door." ... Read more

Relaxing for Baby and Good for Parents too!
This album has been used since the day we brought our daughter home. It was very tender and warm to listen to when she was just an infant. We have continued to use this album to help relax her when trying to get her ready for bed time. As many parents know, sleep is a very big issue in the first year and beyond. We use this album to help signal to our little girl that it's time for her to get ready to go to sleep. It really works and it's pleasant for parents too. Linda Arnold sings some very relaxing music, which allows you to escape for a moment and relax with your baby. I highly recommend this album for a gift too.

One of our top favorites!
My sons love Linda Arnold -- too bad the cassette title "Peppermint Wings" isn't out on CD. This one is GREAT. When our first copy got damaged from too much use (EVERY day before naps) I bought another one -- that's how indispensable it is.

The songs are great, favorites as well as originals, and she sings beautifully. The songs are pitched in a range that most moms can sing along too, very comfortably!

If you buy only one children's CD, this is the one.
My daughter has listened to this CD every night for the last 4+ years and Mom/Dad hear it via the baby monitor. We've had every opportunity to be tired of it, but we're not. In fact, we recommend Linda Arnold's music to everyone, not just to parents of young children. Linda's voice is clear and true, the arrangements are perfect, and the selection of songs is just right. Absolutely the best!
Rainbow Palace was a favorite of my daughter. She used to always tell me, "Allegator's don't wear shoes". However, our cassette got orange juice spilled on it, and we did not have this for several years. I was so glad to find it again on CD. Now my son is enjoying it, too. Of course, I probably enjoy it the most. If you like musicals, Broadway, show tunes, this is for you.

Great stuff.. beyond the typical children's fare
Found this one in a cut-out rack a few years back before the re-print, and my 2 year old daughter and I fell in love with it - something she liked to sing along with and I could listen to with her. Two years later we still love it, Linda Arnold's work has been re-released and we're getting them all!!!! ... Read more

My kids and I have worn out two CD's! It's one of those catchy sing-a-long's that I find myself singing to! My children have loved this CD and it's a big hit on trips. I recommend it highly for any child and/or parent!

Great for toddler-age kids.
My 3 year olds love the non-stop perkiness of this album. But be forewarned - You'll be singing the upbeat tunes with your kids (and without them). Some songs that aren't ordinarily included in children's recordings appear here,such as "Los Colores" and add color and variety to the selections, and old favorites like "5 Little Ducks" provide familiarity. A MUST for your toddler and preschooler!!
This is so much fun! We got this tape when my now 12 year old son was in preschool. His brother who was born 2 years later also loved it, then my newest daughter who is now 2 is enjoying it too. I just had to reorder a new one because the other was worn out! Happiness cake is just so much fun, you will find yourself singing along! Linda Arnold brings her magic to your children and teaches them about feelings, but in the funniest, silliest and happiest way! GET THIS ALBUM! You will not be disappointed! All of my kids liked this from before they were 1 all the way through preschool and Kindergarten. (probably longer too, because it is fun!) I love it myself!
