5-0 out of 5 stars Prés de Nous!
This album is really really good!!! I am not able to understand 100% of the lyrics, but they are catchy and the songs have such a fun pop beat that you can't help but dance and enjoy them! The 20-second intro is a bit odd, but you don't care about that. One of the best tracks is "Prés de Moi", which is lyrically good and is memorable. Hit summer songs that can stay with you for a long time are "Toute Seule","Je Manque de Toi", "Je Serai", "Entre Vous Deux", and the love infused and lyrically poignant "I love you" and "Se Donner la Main" are nice. Good Album!

1-0 out of 5 stars Mauvais
Please, don't buy that album, it's so bad.
That's just poor pop music with very stupid lyrics.

The singer doesn't even write her lyrics and she lyp sincs on stage.

5-0 out of 5 stars Vraiment magnifique!
I love this album- every single track on it is gold. You can listen to this album again and again and even though you don't understand all the words the beats and melodies are addictive! Buy this if you love great music! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Review of "Alizee:Gourmandises"
This was just bad.Alizee has a great youthful, soprano voice that is lost in all the noise on the CD.I think a more accoustic sound would suit her better.I really think she is acting younger than even her true age on this disk. It's regrettable that a singer with obvious talent is being misdirected in the way to go with her sound.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST!
Gourmandises is my favourite album and Alizée is my favourite singer! This album is the best! All the songs are super-hits and Alizée's fairy-tale voice is like a sweet dream*) I love Alizée and this album! Buy it and you will not regret! BO:)

5-0 out of 5 stars Maybe the best pop album of history!
The first Alizée's album was a really success. "Gourmandises" is the best pop album I've ever listen to, and it launched Alizée to the first class music world. The outstanding hit "Moi... Lolita" is a master class of how making pop songs, perhaps her best hit up to now, also its video is something to talk about. "Gourmandises" is an awesome song, which also manes the album.
"Parler Tout Bas" the soft touch in this album, the contrast for the groovin', specially for her kind voice that fix naturally with the music. "A Quoi Reve Une Jeune Fille", the Parler Tour Bas partner, giving the perfect balance in this album. "L'Alize" is a nice song, helped with an original video. The others songs are also good, being the best complement for the described hits.
Alizée is hugely better than any other American pop star, singing in French, she stole our hearts not only for her beauty but her wonderful voice too. She doesn't need to sing in English as she did with "I'm fed Up" & "I'm Not Twenty" (both of them in her 2nd album "Mes Courant Electriques"). Those versions of "J'en Ai Marre" & "J'Ai Pas Vingt Ans" are not as good as the original ones, sang in French. ... Read more

L5 is the French version of Eden's Crush. L5's songs are great. Each song on the CD is excellent. "Toutes Les Femmes De Ta Vie" is perhaps the best. "Question de Survie" and "Une Entincelle" are also really great. If you like French music, this is a must have. ... Read more

Assia is an awesome artist. Her music has a special something that makes you want to get up and dance. My favorite sone is Si C'Etait a Refaire. It really helps kids who are taking french in school to listen to their style of music in that language, well...it helps me.

5-0 out of 5 stars I THINK JALANE WOULD BE BIGGER THEN BRITNEY!!
I was first introduced to Jalane in my french class. We watched the music video of Ma Musique, at first I thought it was just another pop song, then by the end I could stop dancing at my desk. I then downloaded some other songs and loved them all that I bought the cd.If you enjoy pop musique with a European twist, this is a cd i highly recommend.I would love to hear Jalane played on the radio, but first everyone must spread the word! Make Jalane bigger then Britney!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Its time for a French Crossover
I picked up Jalane's debut album in France while i was studying there a few months ago and i havent been able to put it down since. There is a great mix of R & B and rap which funkify the album.Having listened to alot of Frnech music recently i htink Jalane has a one up on most of the other artists because of her sexy voice and even sexier looks.Oublie-le and Ou va la monde are by far the best tracks on the album, each featuring other french rap artists. This album has something for everyone and shouldn't be missed.I only pray that people like Jalane make the cross over to the USA which i am sad to say is so preoccupied with the Latin in=vasion that it has forgotten that there are other great artists out there who sing great in languages other than Spanish.

    5-0 out of 5 stars Hip-Hop/R&B/Ballads
Heard the first track (Femmes) last summer while listenting to NRJ out of Paris and was hooked. This is good R&B, Hip-Hop and ballads. Best song on the album, in my opinion is Oublie-Le, although On À Tous PÊChÉ and Cheri are also good. There's a lot of good Hip-Hop (Alliance Ethnik;MC Solaar) and R&B (Melgroove) coming out of France and this is another one. It's a few notches below MJ Blige's latest release.

    Editorial Review

The title of Shakira's breakthrough 1996 album translates to "naked feet," which somehow captures the combination of playfulness and earnestness that marks the music. Recorded when she was 18, Pies Descalzos finds the Colombian singer-songwriter striving to find her own style. The disc moves through dance pop and dance-hall-lite before landing on a convincing-enough guitar-rock amalgam. It's a likable record, but Shakira seemed to acknowledge its weaknesses when she chose only one of its songs for inclusion on the later (and much superior) MTV Unplugged. --Rickey Wright ... Editorial Review

Rock-pop dance queen Shakira from Colombia is back with a sophomore album that pretty much mines the same field as her debut, with predictably similar sounds. "Ciega, Sordamuda" has the same urgent dance beat reminiscent of "Estoy Aquí," the monster club hit from her debut, Pies Descalzos. The singer/songwriter, whose whispery, quavering vocals sound like a cross between Alanis Morrisette and Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries, wrote or cowrote all 11 tracks. Surprisingly, considering that noted producer ace Emilio Estefan is at the helm here, there is very little variance here from her debut. The tunes are mostly either rock-edged dance numbers or reflective melancholy ballads; the best include the echoey "Tú" and the meandering "Sombra de Ti." --Ramiro Burr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Shakira at her best
Here Shakira sounds so great! She sounds both happy and angry and probably sad. Every song is a masterpiece and 8 out of 11 were played everywhere on the radio.

    Track Listing:

    1. Ciega, Sordomuda(Blind, Deaf and Dumb)
    2. Si Te Vas(If You Go)
    3. Moscas En La Casa(Flies in The House)
    4. No Creo(I Don't Believe)
    5. Inevitable
    6. Octavo Dia(The Eighth Day)
    7. Que Vuelvas(I Want You Back)
    8. Tu(You)
    9. Donde Estan Los Ladrones?(Where are the thieves?)
    10. Sombra De Ti(Shadow Of You)
    11.Ojos Asi(Eyes Like Yours)

    1. Ciega, Sordomuda.5/5. The first singtle. It has a Mariachisound mixed with Rock. Amazing!!

    2. Si Te Vas. 5/5. Here Shakira it's calm and angry. First she starts slow but when it come to the chorus she sound so angry and rockin' like Hell!!! Amazing song!!!

    3. Moscas En La Casa. 4/5. This is an amazing ballad but not the best one in this album. Shakira sounds so calm and sings witha feeling of melancholia! Great!

    4. No Creo. 5/5. This song is simply amazing. This song it's very different from the previous three. Here Shakira sound so happy and very in love, but althought this song is about love it has social critics too.

    5. Inevitable. 5/5. Amazing ballad. This has to be the best rock ballad ever! Here Shakira is sad and very angry because she is inevtable to keep loving his man after he's gone. Very sad.

    6. Octavo Dia. 5/5. This is my favorite song of this album. This songs talk about how God after he created the universe went to take a vacation but when he returns, he find out that the world has become a completely Chaos!! I like how shakira sings in this song, she sounds so great!

    7. Que Vuelvas. 4/5. This song it's the only song that has that vibe of Shakira's first album 'Pies Descalzos'. It sounds like a dance mix of 'Estoy Aqui' from 'Pies Descalzos'. The lyrics are great and it sounds like a filler song, but it's very good to be a filler.

    8. Tu. 5/5. OK. Shakira's greatest ballad in this album! The lyrics are fantastic, it's all about love. Simply Amazing!

    9. Donde Estan Los Ladrones? 5/5. The album title track. Here Shakira uses the harmonica again. This song is about all the kind of thieves that are in this world (politics, artists, protestants, etc.). This is a great rock song!

    10. Sombra De Ti. 4/5. Have you ever heard Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game'? Well, this song has the same guitars from that song, and that makes this song so sensual and very calm. A great ballad!

    11. Ojos Asi. 5/5. OK. Shakira's arabic influences are here. This is just an extraordinary way of ending an album! This song has everything, rock, pop, dance, arabic sounds. Amazing!! That's why she included the english version on 'Laundry Service'

Well 52/55! That's why I this album deserves always 5 stars!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars You must have this CD!
This is one of the best CD's by Shakira.I love every song on here, but the only one that sounds much better on her Unplugged CD is No Creo. When she sings it on this CD her voice goes up and down, and squeks, like she's having a hard time singing.

5-0 out of 5 stars "Donde está la Shakira de antes?"
Deep lyrics, catchy beats and a sound extremely pure and sincere: this fantastic and unique combination becomes "Donde Están Los Ladrones?" (1998) a exceptional 90's latin album!

Shakira show her best in rock songs like "Octavo Día" (Eighth Day), "Si Te Vas" (If You Go), "Inevitable" and "Donde Están Los Ladrones?" (Where're the Thieves?). There is a lot of her true soul in these ones.

The ballads are not different: "Sombra de Tí" (Shadow of You), "Tu" (You) and "Moscas En La Casa" (Flies In the Home) shoot a rush of blood to our heads.

Definitely, this is an essential cd for all people that keep sensitive in a world full of brutality.

It's a big pity that this incredible Shakira was lost in "Laundry Service" (2001). ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Even with the astonishing success of Colombian rock starShakira's 1996 breakthrough Pies Descalzos, therelease of this remix set merely a year later seems premature. Still,it is notable for a few reasons. Shakira's edgy, pleading delivery onthe tracks "Estoy Aqui," "Un Poco de Amor," and "Donde Estas Corazon"translates well for the dance market. Remixers Meme, Pablo Flores, andJavier Garza surround the singer with pulsing glitter-ball rhythms thatplay up the desperate lovelorn lyrics. The Remixes also includesPortuguese versions of a few songs to appease Shakira's ever-expandingglobal audience; she handles the translations well. This is a nice gemfor ardent fans and club bunnies, but it would have been smarter towait until after the release of Shakira's second full-length, Donde Estan LosLadrones, to allow for a wider selection of material. --Joey Guerra ... 5-0 out of 5 stars COOL REMIXES
I like this CD.All the CD.I recommend it so much.Especially if you like Shakira and you like remixes, you will love it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Remixes - it could have had more songs
This remix CD is great to dance to or even just to listen to. The only thing that isn't so great about it is that its just "Estoy Aqui," "Pies Descalzos, Suenos Blancos," "Un Poco de Amor," and "Donde Estas Corazon." Don't get me wrong, there great songs! I just think she should have waited a little longer before putting out a remix album.

    On the plus side:
    1) You DO get great remixes of the four songs.
    2) You get 3 of them in portuguese. Its cool to hear her songs in different languages. English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic...
I'd reccomend this album to only those who want to have every Shakira CD alive (otherwise known as the die-hard Shakira fan) or if the four songs on the album are your absolute favorite ones. For any others buy another Shakira CD, you could get better for your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Remixes
This "Album" was done between 'Pies Descalzos' and 'Donde Estan Los Ladrones'. Thus, it contains only remixes from P/D. I bought this cd when it first came out, I had P/D and was hungry for another Shakira album... I like this album, but like others have said there arent that many songs. Now I, unlike other people, like remixes. Everyone gets to hear the originals but they rarely get to hear the remixes. A majority of the songs (Remixes) where done by Brazilian DJ 'Meme'. The "portugues versions" were mixed by Miami based DJ 'Pablo Flores'(he produced Ojos Asi). I found the Portugues Versions to be more enjoyable than the original spanish versions. The 'Dance Remixes' are good but after awhile they started to sound the same. The songs dont really have a 'Techno' beat, it is more 'Latin' with drums. But yeah its a good cd, for a 'casual fan' you will soon tire of it, for a 'diehard fan' (Like Me) youll like it and cant wait for "Vol. 2" but I doubt that will ever happen. ... Read more

The 23-year-old Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira has become an international star thanks to her rich, emotive voice and thoughtful songs. Her albums Pies Descalzos and Dónde Están Los Ladrones? are platinum in the U.S.; now, as something of a taster before the release of an English-language disc, comes this recording of an acoustic performance for MTV. Shakira's songs translate well to the format; in some ways Unplugged is her most muscular music yet. The opening "Octava Dia" gains punch from its dramatic arrangement, while the elements of traditional music in "Ciega, Sordomuda" are applied with wit and charm. Fans of Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morissette who haven't caught on to Shakira yet are in for a pleasant surprise when they hear this. --Rickey Wright ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not Her Best
I am a huge fan of Shakira, but I have to say this album isn't her greatest by far. The only songs on here that sound good are Octavo Dia,Moscas en la casa,Donde estan los ladrones,No creo and Ojos asi. The majority of the other songs aren't sung very well, and are somewhat incoherent because of backup singers and Shakiras weird way of singing on this album, like in Estoy Aqui on this album.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is NOT a copy
Those saying that this is a copy of DELD are wrong. This is the best of Shakira's songs at the time of making. The purpose of this CD was not to produce a greatest hits album, but to show Shakira's varied style of singing and songwriting.

I found a lot of these songs to be an improvement on the studio versions (espically the slow numbers).

Buy this if you liked Shakira on tour, or want to hear some variety in style. Here's a little tip; the more you listen to it the more it grows on you

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible. The worst unplugged ever.
I don't know what happened with this production. It could have been very good but the result was a complete mistake.
Ok I know that all her fans are going to be ungry and say that this review is not good at all but come on, let's face it. She sings 11 song. 10 of this song are from her album "Donde estan los ladrones" and the other one is from "Pies descalzos". What?, who can understand this when "Pies descalzos" gave her the oportunity to be where she is and brought her several hits (some of them bigger than the ones from "Donde estas los ladrones"). Also there are no new songs (every unplugged has new songs or at least covers, here NOTHING). The cd only has 11 songs, every unplugged has more than that. So do you think that this is a good production?.

    Editorial Review

Colombian superstar Shakira's first English-language disc, Laundry Service, carries the pointed credit "Entire Album Produced by Shakira." That might be a signal to U.S. fans who helped two of her previous discs go platinum under the media radar--a sign that this planned breakthrough has more to offer than the input of a score of image makers and outside writers. And it does; even the occasional clunky lyric comes directly from her overflowing heart. Laundry Service's meld of danceable pop and rockier ideas and textures follows the similar path of the singer-songwriter's previous work. Indeed, for all its high-end production values, the record is ultimately one of the least glossy crossover vehicles imaginable. Despite an occasional lean toward Celine Dion territory ("Underneath Your Clothes"), it has a freshness that's sure to win over new listeners even after the first single, the sly "Whenever, Wherever," has reached the saturation point. While still not fully formed as an artist, she's getting close to something of her own--something that may flower after she dumps the vocal Alanis-isms. For now, it's still a pleasure to watch her grow. --Rickey Wright ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This Girl Can Really Rock!!!
I had to buy this album after the success of Shakira's first single "Whenever, wherever". The rest of this album is just as good as she goes from singing Rock to the Ballad "Underneath Your Clothes". This fine Columbian lady has a unique singing voice that the Anglo-Saxon world has finally discovered.Plus she looks absolutely GREAT in her video clips as she interprets Belly Dancing to her own adaptations. This is one lady with all the right songs and all the right moves!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Love it !
It's the first CD of Shakira that I've bought.

She's a true artist, she writes and composes her songs, she sings really good, she's an engaged singer.

I put only 4 stars because there are not many songs (only 10 original songs) and that it's not as good as her older CDs in Spanish.

But it's a great CD, all the songs are different, sometimes rock, sometimes pop, sometimes arabic.
    Good purchase.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not great in English
I love Shakira, but her music sounds much better in spanish. This CD wasn't doing much for her voice and the songs aren't that great either, especially Eyes like yours(Ojos Asi). This song sounds much, much better in spanish.I would recommend you buy one of her spanish albums than this CD. ... Her self-titled, eighth album (and fourth for EMILatin) is ripe with girl-power ditties, from the ska-tinged "En la Fiesta MandoY" to "A Quien le Importa," a devil-may-care ode to individuality. It's familiarground for Thalia, who explored similar themes on 1997's Amor a laMexicana and 1999's Arrasando. This new set is not as instantlyaddictive, but it showcases Thalia's continued evolution as an artist. "La Loca" is a smorgasbord of rock, cumbia, and rap rhythms, while the glittering "Vueltasen el Aire" is destined to fill dance floors. Mrs. Tommy Mottola also teams withthe Kumbia Kings on "Tuy Yo" and enlists MarcAnthony as backup on "The Mexican." The inevitable crossover is alsoforeshadowed on the yearning ballad "Closer to You" and a cover ofDead or Alive's "You SpinMe 'Round," which finds Thalia purring like a sex kitten. If she keeps it up,we'll all soon be a slave for a new kind of diva. --Joey Guerra ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Mexican superstar Thalia has come a long way since her early '90s days as a thin-voiced Latin pop-tart. Her stellar 1997 album, Amor a la Mexicana, was a full-throttle assertion of her maturing talent, thanks in large part to va-va-voom production work from Emilio Estefan Jr. Things heat up even more on Arrasando, the singer¹s most focused collection to date. Thalia and Estefan blend salsa, rap, reggae, cumbia, and aggressive club beats into one irresistible mix. Just try to keep your feet still during the infectious rhythms of "Regresa a Mi," "Pata Pata," and "Siempre Hay Carino." Thalia proves equally adept at ballads, particularly on the majestic first single, "Entre el Mar y una Estrella." The sexy singer has already recorded English-language tunes for overseas release, and now that she¹s dating Sony president (and Mariah¹s ex) Tommy Mottola, crossover success seems only a few hip swivels away. --Joey Guerra ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A WORK OF ART
This CD is as good as Spanish music can get. Songs like Pata Pata, Regresa a mi, the title track, and especially Rosalinda, are classics that you can listen to anytime anywhere. I love running on a treadmill cranking it up listening to her. Thalia might be the best female singer out today, whose name is NOT Sherrie Austin (And I don't speak Spanish). This CD is her best, and ever song but 1 is 10/10. A must have.

3-0 out of 5 stars Was Not That Great of A Cd
First of I would like to start off by saying that I have known Thalia since 1995 because My brother owns a couple of her cds. In chirstmas of 2000 I got this cd from Thalia and when I opened it up chirstmas day and put it in my radio I was dissapointed. I only liked 5 songs and after sometime I landed up giving it to my brother because I was going to bye Con Banda Extios but never did and now I wm going to get her Greatest Hits because she has alot more good songs now. It was rated by Amazon.Com only 4 stars but maybe some people liked the whole thing but I was not one of them. Stick to her Greatest Hits cd and stay away from this one unless you really need to have the words to sing along with her music because shes got them on this cd like her previous. But if you can Live without the words to sing along with then stay far as possible from this cd. Uggg!!!!! Malo Disco. Malo!!!!! 3 stars for the five songs I liked but nothing more.

5-0 out of 5 stars VERY AWESOME CD!!!
I have just purchased another copy because the other one was old from so much listening. THE SONGS ARE GREAT. IT ALSO GOT A LATIN GRAMMY FOR BEST ENGINEERED ALBUM. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars So good cd!!
I heard about Kelly from my friend. Now I'm her big fan 'cause she's such a lovely person, beautiful woman and nice singer!
This cd is wonderful-I bought it almost 3 years ago,but I still
love to hear it,because it's really great album!
The best songs are: Escondido,Anjo,Baba,Tudo com você,Quem é você and ALL!!! :))
It's a lovely cd for everyone!!
    Kellykissses!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars brasil spears?
Whoa! Brasil has their own Britney? Not really. Kelly Key is not quite Britney, not almost Britney; but an entirely better version of Britney. Perhaps it has something to do with hearing her sing in that great Brasilian accent that convinced me to cast a vote for Kelly. Or maybe, it has to do with being a teenage boy with little control over his emotional urges when it comes to sexy female brasilian pop singers ;-)
Kelly de Almeida Alfonso was born on March 3, 1983, in Rio de Janeiro, and is of Portuguese descent. Kelly eventually chose the surname "Key" as it represented the "Key to Success."

It seems to me that Kelly Key knows what her strengths are and is not afraid of exploiting them to the fullest.
While Kelly Key may be a South American sensation with hits such as "Escondido" ("Hidden") and "Baba" ("Drool"), many of us are missing out (mainly because she has yet to release an album in English). With foreign imports like Shakira and Paulina Rubio making waves, now is as good a time as any for her to jump on the bandwagon.
OK, after all that I'm sure people would like to know if she can sing. The answer is yes. Mixed with a bit of luck (Dalmo Belloti, who at the time was a manager at Sony Music and a friend of the family was impressed by Kelly and took her under his wing) and talent (her voice mixed with the production of Brazilian DJ Cuca known for his Midas touch in the R&B and pop genres) Kelly's first CD is a catchy and impressive mix of dance, R&B and ballads which make for a great CD.
As a testament to this fact, I did not skip one song whilst listening to the CD as all the songs brought something different to the table. From the whole CD, if I had to a pick a favourite song, Anjo, Baba & Cachorrinho are the three songs that stand out for me with Só quero ficar close behind.
Kelly's best bet would be to release an English album while she's still hot. As evidenced over the years, second-language success is definitely possible.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great debut!
My favorite bands are Radiohead, Smiths, Pulp, etc. So I was one of the last people in the world who would buy a Kelly Key album, but I can't stop listening to it. Let's face the facts:

    1- Escondido - A great song and a potential worldwide hit.(10/10)

2- Só quero ficar - This is gorgeus, not repetitive at all.(8.5/10)

    3- Bolada - Good, especially the groove.(8/10)

4- Anjo - Although reaching the number 1 spot in Brazil, this is a nice, but not excellent ballad. (7.5/10)

5- Baba - The song that started it all. (9.5/10)

6- Brincar de amor -Very catchy and sensitive. (8.5/10)

7- Tudo com você - One of her best songs! Well-crafted vocals and a somewhat unconventional (but lovely) keyboards' lines.(10/10)

    8 - Quem é você - A beautiful ballad, better than "Anjo". (8.5/10)

9- Viajar no groove - The title says it all... A dancefloor killer! (9/10)

10- Cachorrinho - A huge hit. Kelly at her best. Classic. (10/10)

11- Escondido (remix)- Radio edit. Shorter and more conventional than the original. (9.5/10)

Considering that she recorded this album when she was 17, there's a great expectation for her next effort and it's very unlikely that she will disappoint any of her fans. I'm waiting...

P.S. - If you're into brazilian music, you need to hear a young band called "Los Hermanos", they're fantastic! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Boring- very boring!
This record is very bad. I think the songs are boring; we have too many dull bands like this in England. And why is "Maniac" sung in English, when they are French?! I will not be listening to this again. All the songs just drone into one another.
Alizée and Lorie are a millions times better than L5 will ever be- their songs are fun, catchy, funky- and IN FRENCH only! Try them- and NOT `L5'!

5-0 out of 5 stars A very good CD !!!
I think It's one of the best CD ! People says bad things on the 5 members of the band because they are come from a real TV Show but it's a great cd ! I'm from France and if I write this message it's not for nothing ! It would say the band is formed by 5 stars of the music who are going to have an big success !

Lydy, Marjorie, Claire, Coralie and Alexandra have a special type of music ! It's their music and it's typicly french !

I hope I haven't done too much mistakes ! I'm french so it's difficult ! I hope to you'll buy the record ! You're not going to be disapointed !

After her release of 'Pres de Toi', I'm really hoping for the next album of Lorie, and my wish came true! Her songs are as good as the first album, and my favourite tracks are "Pour Que Tu Me Reviennes" and her latest single "A 20 Ans". She has this talent that I envy, and I really love this album. Anyone who's interested in french songs ... You just gotta have it! I have no regret spending all my money on this, in fact, I'm happy that I did! Lorie Rules! :D ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable!!!!
Valeria Rossi has a young vibrant voice, that is cute. She has a little bit of a new wavey sound in her singing; and she has a nice sensual tone. Ricordateri Dei Fiori is a very good album, its very enjoyable to listen to all the way through, Most of the songs are up tempo and danceable, some are slower melodic ballad types songs that are pretty. Pensavo a te is a very cute song. I like Straniero a lot and really. I like all the songs.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fenomenale - con un estile unico!
This is a great album by a new talent in the Italian pop scene. Valeria's style is refreshingly different and her singing and songwriting - although I don't speak a word of Italian (but do speak Spanish) - strike me as sincere and heartfelt. I first became aware of Valeria when I saw her single "Tre Parole" make a rapid climb up the Italian charts. After I heard the song, I became intrigued, bought the album and have not been disappointed. Other notable ballads include "Tutte Le Mattine","Tutto Fa L'amore" and "Pensavo a te". For some, Valeria's voice might be an acquired taste. But, once you give the album a spin I think you'll agree with me that this is something special. In some ways she's like a Norah Jones without the jazz influences. ... Read more

Valeria's voice is very sexy, fresh...reminds me a little bit of Natalie Merchant's first days. I am looking forward to enjoying more music from this fine, young lady!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Debut
She can be compared to a new Laura Pausini. Both italian singers Debuting young and singing strong ballads with a strong voice in spanish. This album is centered around the song Trre Parole, her great Italian Hit which is on this album also in spanish anddance version the reason i bought the album. You can also find the video.Honestly i bought it for that song alone I really like the high energy.Other songs are ballads that just need getting used to but are good in there own way.If you want ballads this album is for you, if you want dance that one song will be the only one you can find. ...
